    So... Stalkers.

Why not have stalker's hide last longer than the inntial break? You can get off strings of criticals for single-target take down, or move from mob to mob quickly to take out problem mobs like Sappers or Longbow Nullifiers?

Assuming it lasts about 5 seconds or so, you can easily get off 1 + 1-2 more attacks, depending on animation time. This will help in solo and team play, due to the damage that the crits will cause, which kinda equalizes out the damage that stalkers do compared to scrappers, without adding in bonus damage.
  2. So, Going rogue came out and I've decided to re-subscribe and start playing again. So while waiting for the patcher to work (Some patcher issues, but it all came through in the end), I was browsing Mids to think up a new character to play.

I've settled down on SS/WP for my villain, sort of opposite of my scrapper hero side. Playing with the powers and slotting and stuff, and I've noticed that we now have IOs -- And they're very confusing.

Is there a crash course in SS/WP IOs? Trying to slot it out in general is confusing -- Do I put more slots into passive powers for more set bonuses for the IOs? What about picking up Hurl to have a purple ranged attack IO set? Does the chance for build up proc off of tactics?

I looked into the guide section, but it seems that most people are recommending slotting for non-set IOs. All in all, I'm generally confused when I look at this, and was wondering if anyone could point me into the right direction. Thanks in advance

  3. Did I miss something, or are tickets only for higher levels? Currently level 18 brute, and I've yet to see a single ticket or virtual ticket for the badges.

Also, if anyone cares to answer: How do I put two bosses in the same 'encounter', so you can't pull one away from the other?
  4. [censored] that! My Dm + Ma/Rg + Sr + da will kick anyones [censored]!

    Good idea.

    Why not blue balls?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    To avoid certain jokes.

In all certanty, though, I think we all should be able to get a ball accolade power, and should be able to customize it to whatever color we want when power customization comes out.

    Mmmm... BBB

Yup, QR and DP have to get the bat. In Issue 7 they'll have to nerf Revive and Resilience because they're about the only things left un-nerfed.

You know, I was going to six slot recharges into revive after the intergration/instant healing enhancement nerf, then ED came along and [censored] up my plan. There just getting us every way we turn.

Is it me or do good things only happen when I'm not around?

And if that's the case, how much are you guys willing to pay me to stay the hell away?

  8. Use quick recharging, quick animation attacks to pull. Love jump. Queue up attacks while your out of line of sight, jump into line of sight, and bounce out of it while your attack is thrown. The shorter the animation, the faster you can pull back and away from the group.

Don't charge in with your melees! Let the enemies come to you, and then use your melees. You should use your range first, melee second. In cases for NRG blasters, use your knockback to keep enemies away from you. Learn their Ai! Force the minions to pull out melee weapons, then keep them at range. Rikti don't easily put away their swords after they bothered to pull them out. Leuits and bosses will do it more readily, though.

If theirs aoe, don't stand near anyone else. Kill the aoe/mezzer. A smart blaster is a team friendly blaster, and therefore a live blaster.

Buy rages! Spam them all, then run into a pack and nova! Hit that max damage cap with aim + build up, and then some enrages + accs. They can't fire back if their dead, but know what you can nova (Freaks), and what you can't.

PvP, remember, Ai can be smarter than humans at times. Kill afk villans. Snipe them from a distance, stay above and behind, stay in places they won't look. Snipe from rooftops, open up a fire rain around a corner. Terrain is power!

For you /dev blasters, Use Tp foe! Set down a bunch of mines, and rather than luring villans into your trap, teleport them, right onto it! If their still alive, their in melee range!

Pick off the squishies, Corruptors, Master Minds, Stalkers! There all just good exp for you.'

  10. Talon heard the voice of the warrior outside... he met him once before, another like him, but chose his home in a lofty building rather than a cave like him. He knew he was interested in the small things he would find here and there, some machines that washed down from the red river, and some times even artifacts that defeated Circle left before they were teleported tot he hospital, in hopes that one of their brethren would use it to help them. A slight shrug though as he heard the voice echoing through his cave, a slight grin on his face. Apparently he was about to end the battle. But no matter, He thought to himself as he made his way down the dark cave, or rather up, as the floor was ascending.

He looked up at a small light ahead, and smiled to himself. This cave path would take him just a bit north of where he was orginally attacked.
  11. Talon jumped back in surpise at the heros innititave with his attack, but grin as he saw the blast heading towards him, and twirled his weapon around him, and struck the blast head on. Twirling the weapon around and striking the back of his cave, he transfered its energy into the earth, and blew open an entrance to a bunch of underground caves, one path he took was paticuarly worn an used, and machines were stacked on either side, random stuff he dug up from the red river. Hopping down a hole and dissapearing from sight, the hero took his excape
  12. Talon raised an eyebrow as the sound of another hero passed by his small cave -- a kheldian had just landed outside it. A frown on his face.... What was he doing here?

Talon grabbed his polearm from the corner of his small cave, and sat just out of sight of the hero, behind the wall of his cave, his eyes turned to the side and his breathing silenced, two gauntlets gripped the javilin. Last hero that came through here nearly killed him, thinking he was the enemy. This time, however, he would be prepared.
  13. The hollows has been a desolate place for the past few months, buildings had collapsed into the once hollow caves under ground, pumicites, outcasts, and trolls ran through the wrecked zone of the city. Heros came and went keeping their numbers at bay, and while some entered never to be seen again, others prevailed.

None of this worried Talon, though, the warrior thought as he grabbed his water pitcher. Heros will be heros, and villans will be villans.

Moving down the rocks and dirt that was near the red river, he dipped his container into the water and slowly filled it up. Circle of thorn fanatics were constantly a pain around here, but luckly they hadn't come this far down the river.... To many trolls there. Which was a good thing. Trolls were stupid, and as long as he didn't bother them, they wouldn't bother him.

Pitcher fulled, he stood up and placed the cap on it, turning around and heading back the way he came, towards some rocks and a bit of broken concrete. It was all pretty normal, if the result of the hollowing was now normal, and not many people visited his place. If so, it was just a bound between a leap, before they soared out into the sky again.

But it was much more than it appeared.

Moving underneath two slabs of concrete, which beneath them formed a small passage way, to a partly collapsed cave, sunken in into the ground some, and rather shallow compared to the deeper ones, but sturdy all the same. Talon smiled at the entrance of his make shift home, kneeling infront of the passage way and taking the water container to pour it onto a few flowers that had bloomed their, after being planted. It hadn't rained in a while, so he took up responisbility for keeping the roses red, and the moon flowers purple.

Once watering his small flower garden had been done, he tossed the pitcher down into his cave he called a home, and looked up at the sky, dawn had just arrived. A slight frown on his face as he saw a hero flying over head, shaking his head.

Talon had what it took to become a hero. Power, will, and the correct moral, but it didn't interest him anymore.... Not any more. The only thing that interested him now was the fish in the red river, and whether or not he would have to water the plants the next morning...
