Id like to get one going starting Oct 7 as well, starting at 9pm est, and playing for a couple hours wednesdays.
Personally, I wouldn't mind having two teams even if they didn't start out full- just so we would be able to have an alt join us or save a spot for someone who is able to commit down the road a bit. I know, there always seems to be at least one or two who have to quit for various reasons, but we've already got more than a full team interested and I don't want to say to anyone "sorry, you're nine of eight, no room for you".
If the first team starts at 8EST and the second at 9EST (as BK suggested), do people have preferences on which team they'd fit it with for time? I'd be glad to sign up for the second team.
Also, if there is a desire to do something to fully commemorate the end of the first teams, I think BA mentioned (many posts ago) something about a static team mothership raid. HoJ did a two team raid last weekend and it was a lot of fun. If anyone is interested, perhaps we could get the two villain teams and that hero team to jump on the rikti together? -

I've gotten several compliments on my costumes for Witch Hrist, from random, unknown players; which is an ego boost. I've always thought it was a little funny though as she never ever wins costume contests.

It was lagtastic. I don't know why; I leave that to you experts, but it was much more lag than the previous week when there were just as many people participating.
All the same, I'm glad I made it out for most of the raid (I left when the lag increased so I couldn't get much done.) -

Only 3 years playing, and I have 8 50's; after they hit 50 I pretty much stop playing them and start working on something new to get contacts I haven't tried before (there are still lots of them at all levels for me to play) or gain experience doing something completely different with AT (still haven't gotten a tank past 13, or a scrapper past 16 without being bored to death but it's a goal). -

I'm still wondering- it seems that some who expressed interest in the new teams haven't signed up yet, and we're already at 7. It might be nice to have two teams and hold an open spot (or two) on each for the people who asked to be random fill-ins. If splitting the teams, I'd volunteer to lead the second. -

I have no shame. When I finally got on last night I went down the list of my top ten favorite toons and brought them to a tailor one-by-one. Then got bored and decided to wait with the other gazillion toons and ran a few solo missions to see the new pretty colors in action against baddies.

If A.E. is dead... would someone please tell the people who were still broadcasting from their lvl 3s in AP last night looking for AE farms? I'd like to get my AP broadcast back to its usual costume contest fluff and trainwreck-drama, thank you.

If it's really closer to Therm than it is to Empathy, I might give it a try. I hate playing Emps, but have loved my therm so far (only lvl 30 atm).

Sobe is close- about four bars into 49, so I can join Hot Knife next week or try to get there with an ITF in the next week.
If we're waiting for all of Butter to ding it will be longer; I don't mind waiting as there are a lot of things going on for me atm, but I wasn't sure how many were going to join the new team(s).
My lvl 6 is a Dom- I prefer no theme, if that is still being debated (unless theme is more to do with colors for my costume, lol). I'm open to rerolling the toon though; as long as I don't have play another Corr I'm okay with any AT change or just staying at a lower lvl for the team to start at the first night.
(I'm kind Ahhh! right now- sick all last weekend, cat is missing, presentation today, going home to MN this weekend, so I might be online tonight to try to relax since I only have one Friday class, and anyone who needs to catch up for Butter, etc is welcome to join me in bashing stuff.)

I have a toon waiting for the new team(s) to start, but she's at lvl 6 so may have to re-roll depending on the level at which we will start. The current teams started at lvl 4 I think. If 6 isn't too bad I could try to catch someone to invite her to the VG.
I did move Sobe to the Anvils already as that will be her permanent home (and at times it's hard to find people willing to help switch toons around redside). She caught up in level though, and went past a little, because I had missed the static LGTF and managed to get her on a BMT team for that this last week to make up for it.
* Will likely be absent this Wednesday as I have a big class presentation on Thursday and we're working on our powerpoint slides tomorrow evening for as long as it takes. -
Ah, but I am usually on my bubbler and can't put myself on follow.

I think it's misleading to say that just because the server is located on the West Coast it is run by that time zone. The majority of server-wide events seemed to be based on times most convenient to East Coast players who work during the day, or people who don't work during the day moving toward the West.
