    I like second build more
  3. yep yep thanks for pointing it out Robbie's post clarify it. Thought was same for both type of raids.

Well expect a lot of issues once the IoP raids start....
  4. [ QUOTE ]
afaik, instant raids, anything can be destroyed, but for an IoP raid its a bit more serious and must emply a repair drone or 2 to repair any broken items.. (if repairable)

    [/ QUOTE ]
i need check that out thanks for pointing it out
  5. Hmmmmm ok from raids you do not lose any items, salvage, prestige, influence equipment. You only lose the IoP. The base can be totally wrecked and anything clickable can be destroyed but everything is restored automatically from system uppon raid end
  6. [ QUOTE ]
    people now think i'm 'odd'

    [/ QUOTE ]

you are odd you are in same SG as Doulos muahahahahah
  7. hehe that sounds not so funny to me anymore cause you hear it everyday in our PvP zones too....
  8. [ QUOTE ]
there's nothing worse than a stalkers who hates u following you around and killing u and just not leaving u alone

    [/ QUOTE ]

lol trust me there are a lot worse things out there. And since there are so many ways to avoid it it certainly isnt that bad.Shape up take a deep breath and try harder..Poor stalkers aint that bad as they sound to be
  9. [ QUOTE ]
We're gonna take another crack at it from the villain side tonight tho, so wish us luck

    [/ QUOTE ]

Good luck with that..hope u make it.

    [ QUOTE ]
Well the sensible way to get your IoP and avoid being radied, would be to wait a month or so. By then most raider SG's will have one, and be unable to raid a single IoP base. Though I can see a lot of whining happening about that answer too.

    [/ QUOTE ]

There is a thing here that came up from US and i am sure will come up here....u see the whole raid thing is merely an excuse for some heavy PvP battles to commence. There are SG's in US that currently go in raids prevail but not end the raid by simply taking the IoP but by leaving the raid. This enables them to keep the IoP number low and keep raiding at will.

    [ QUOTE ]
[assuming the IoP's effect PvE play]

    [/ QUOTE ]

They do.Last night after completing the trial i went in Atlas Park with my IoP buff fully functional.

    [ QUOTE ]
Hopefully the much anticipated unique IoP's will keep the raider SG's happily raiding each other. Hopefully the unique IoP's will give PvP only benefits.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Hmmmm i dunno about that had a long discussion on this in CoV beta. But one thing is for sure a special 20% Xp buff IoP is not intended for PvP

    [ QUOTE ]
no bases yet are full configured for choke points and mass defence systems, - so having a raidable base with an IoP is a waste of time.. imo

    [/ QUOTE ]

Even the heaviest defense i am pretty sure wont be able to hold a well prepared PVP team although this needs testing. However expect first raids to starts really soon as soon as first IoP's are acquired in game.MAny SG's are really close to acquiring a fully raidable base.Once they are ready all it needs is 1 IoP to hit the server.
  10. [ QUOTE ]
As for the OP about being targetted and killed repeatedly by same person/people. I am a squishy corruptor, I do pretty poor damage, but I do an awful lot of debuffing, which makes me distintly persona non grata in the zone.

    [/ QUOTE ]

This is absolutely true...What certainly distincts really good PvPers is target prioritizing. Anything that effects the team as a whole or has really high chances disrupting the tactics and strategies a PvP team functions under automatically is set as priority target and communicated within the team. Corruptors that are key elements of a well build villain team with buffs like kinetics (like Flick is) and shileds and dmg acc buffs and debuffs of accuracy are actually significant tactical targets within a PvP zone. The damage dealers unfortunately/fortunately will always come 2nd regarding threat level since its well understood that even the best and most destructive weapon is useless without its support team that fuels it. Cut down support and u get any opponent to his knees. Thats one element highly ignored right now within the PvP zones and makes it really easy for well organised PvPers to just make it like a walk in the park.Once people realise that things will get more interesting.
  11. Empath you are so asking for it man ...u know i got your cossie code on demo so dont make me make a whole video about you and how the wizzard did it
  12. After talking amongst some of our coalitions we ended up chatting about the raids and IoP's since it seems we are getting close to the start of the raids.

We mentioned the insanity that will prolly break out from Supergroups complaining about raiders that steal their IoP's thats just acquired.

Personally after discussion amongst our SG and one of our closest coalition and after completing the Cathedral trial it seems acquiring the IoP through the raid way sounds a lot more fun. However the amount of whining that will break out already seems enormous. Just random thoughts after reading US forums just now and having coffee, feel free to discuss or ignore this
  13. they not have to. Once a hero or a team of hero achieve 30 hotspot wins the control of the zone went over to hero side. To break that you will need a villain or team of villains to achieve 30 hotspot wins so the hotspot control goes over to villains. Remember if you zone out or log before the 30 wins the bar resets.
  14. [ QUOTE ]
I could of course be wrong about this in pvp.

    [/ QUOTE ]

You are wrong. AS has a certain time (short but is still there) which requires you to stand still in order for it to land. Move with ss or vertically up and you interrupt AS. Its the easiest thing to do ever. Also remember when pvp dont blast loud music from speakers cause you might want to hear that huge sound that come pre AS strike and is actually the best way to avoid it. Its extremely easy to avoid AS strikes like that.
  15. [ QUOTE ]
Hmm seems a bit excessive, it can take a great deal of time to move the bar an inch fighting at hotspots. Ach well time to get hotspotting

[/ QUOTE ] i know it is...remember that it doesnt count as an overall of all villains that do individually hotspots...you need to personally do 30 wins in hotspots or with team and fill up the bar to open the temp power vendor.

    [ QUOTE ]
Bah come to defiant to see the real PvPers

    [/ QUOTE ]

LOL your PvP expert has Teleport, don't start.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    I dont have Teleport

    [/ QUOTE ]

    i do
  17. the overall control of the zone must pass over to villains. To do that you need 30 hotspot wins.Which means to fill up the bar.
  18. [ QUOTE ]
Hell yeah, i was referred to once in Siren's call as a kangaroo as i don't stop moving

    [/ QUOTE ]

Kanagaroo ftw and let em whine about it...

"YOU CHEAT I CANT AS YOU STAND STILL"
  19. [ QUOTE ]
hehe, people know so little because there no real place to find all the pvp related info. Not that theres much to pvp, gimmpy templatres win :P but certainly these little hidden things like blaster toggle droppers would be handy to know.

    [/ QUOTE ]

what are you on about....nothing is actually hidden these are all within the power notes and regarding pvp there is a lot to know. What gimpy templates. Each character can be pvp specced. Its not like pvp is some conspiracy where powers are kept secret. Actually there is a lot more than you think. A good pvp build will not make you as good as you think. You will still die from a good pvp player no matter what.
  20. [ QUOTE ]
As for stalker requiring tactics... [censored], I'd hardly call getting right next to someone in complete safety and insta killign them to be tactical. It's easy mode :P

    [/ QUOTE ]

You know of course that standing in the zone having ice cream is not the best thing..one rule about PvP zones is always be on the move or you are priority target cause you stand skill...Basic survival skills. You lose them then forget about it.Always being on the move reduces the chances of an AS since it gets interrupted. You not need to go around like a rabbit but just be hyperactive more than usual is necessary.

    [ QUOTE ]
    Wolfed : Claws/Regen?
    Vaz : Yep, you?
    Wolfed : Same.
Vaz : This is going to take forever.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    [/ QUOTE ]

that got me laughing too lol
  22. hmmmm i like it hobo although i sense its more a solo pvp build and less team orientated since you seem to want to be able to cover a lot of PvP areas..still a really good build tough to be brought down...prolly best chance is with multiple holds stacked and then simply trying to get this build down.nice one.
  23. [ QUOTE ]
    but I needed to unwind

    [/ QUOTE ]

u do realize how wrong this sounds dont you?
  24. i thought u went to bed...lol
  25. But damn the USA people over there get some hillarious moments....going through a thread about PvP Zone arguements i cam across this post by Tabris:

*villain in Siren with bounty on him stares from the base at +20 heroes watching him, waiting for him to get in range*

    Heroes- COME OUT, WUSSY!
    Villain- ._.; um....No?
    Heroes- WHAT?! YOU CHICKEN!
Villain- No, just realistic. There's an ARMY of you!
Heroes- COME ON OUT AND FIGHT!
Villain- Ok ok, YOU *refers to the loudest hero*, meet me on the other side of the warehouse.

*every hero rushes over to the lighthouse*

Villain- ....ok, meet me on the ramp.

    *happens again*

Villain- Simon says jump up and down!

    *surprisingly, they DO!*

Villain- First one to show me they bought the Ice Armor temp power gets to fight me!

*all the heroes rush back to the hero base*

Villain- ....I am brilliant. n.n *leaves zone*

    LOL!!!!
