Alright... alright, I am going to post in the forums for the first time, in a long time.

Complaining that an MMO (yes it is an MMO) adds a multiplayer reward is like complaining that a racing game adds rewards for completing a race.

The fact you can amble around the track aimlessly (and enjoy it... which I sometimes do... especially in online multiplayer) doesn't mean that any large section of the playerbase do, or should get the same rewards as those who do as the game intended.

Yesterday I put aside 2 hours to play CoH and I decided to do the weekly task force. I beat it in a non speedrun in about an hour. I used my 2nd hour of play to help a second group do it.

I understand alotted time to play can be an issue, but if you don't have an hour to spend on something you enjoy, getting +1 doesn't seem to be your biggest problem.

I don't mean to be inflammatory, I am just saying that spending an hour to do the WTF isn't the apocalypse. If you are dead-set against teaming, or are standing on principle... okay congratulations I guess. You were heard. You have a way of getting it other then the WTF. It's a tad rediculous, but so is the fact you refuse to put aside your (apprently utter) hatred for human contact for 1 hour.

And I'd like to say, the TF I did wasn't with any long time friends, or an SG. It was a PuG I found inside of a minute of logging in. Same thing I did last week.

well, I start work on the screenie part and finishing it up tomarrow, last time i did the programming...

Ahoy, for a college digital arts class project they wanted us to make an animated greeting card in Flash.

Well, I am making a CoH card and as part of it it will have descriptions of each AT.

Well, I only have a scrapper so I figured I'd spread open yon arms and extend it to the community

I need screenies of classic styled heroes, not spandex necessarily, but recognizable as a hero costume, not a dominatrix, pirate or the like, heroic screenies, the background will be photoshopped out but your char will remain in whatever pose given so please, no shaking your grove thing... as I said, heroic...

I have to say that your artwork is very interesting, i generally dont go for the whole upbeat happy thing and prefer a dark style. However your are really good, i especially like the astroblasto one

Thats true with real dual blade/sword use also. With only one hand on a weapon you can attack with two weapons however it is at the cost of the stability and strength at holding with two hands.

I dont crit *that* often but I crit often enough for me not to go BOOYAH everytime I crit... though sometimes I'll do it anyways.

Hmp... as for armor...

not signed... but not unsigned either... if the idea was more detailed might be more itnerested in it... but personally I think we have a good diversity of skills as of now and adding a jack of all trades isn't a good use of Cryptics resources

Well problem with that is the fact that alot of the attacks in the game are very easily explained with a suit combined with the large armor selections... unless your talking about something more mechish like the titan robots... in which case...

No, no, you're misunderstanding. Look at the various power-armored characters of the comics. They have far too wide a variety of powers to be covered under, say, a blaster set. If you look at your Iron Mans, your X-O Manowars, your Guardsmen, your War Machines, etc., they might have a separate power set that looks something like this:

Energy Blast
Power Punch (to simulate super-strength)
Hurl (ditto)
Hold (Energy Net)
Stealth Mode
Aim (to simulate computer sights)
Override (similar to what Iron Man uses to KO the Hulk)
Damage Resistance
Defense
Stun (sonic scrambler)
etc.

Now, you could combine some of the existing sets plus pools to get a number of these, but there's no way to get them all.

It wouldn't be for everyone, but I think it'd be of greater use to the player base than dual blades.
