OMG! I take back that creepy comment. Swissy's new avatar is creepy. What happened to you mate? Spend too much time in Terra Volta?

Google Plants vs Zombies -
I really really like this one. Probably one of my favourite one from you Soul.
It's sharp and sexy.
You really are a creative factory printer! -

Wanna Learn to Draw? Pick up some life drawing class or go drawing life.
Some of those books are great, most are cheap though. Nothing beats the real thing:
Go out there, armed with a sketch pad and pencil, and constantly draw what you see. Sit in a cafe and draw the people around you, go to the park and draw trees and plants, go to the zoo or a farm and draw animals as they move around, ask a relative or partner to pose for you - naked or dressed - so you get to study the body, clothes and the textures. Go to museums and sit there, on the floor and sketch out those bones...
Remember that if your subjects are moving it's an even better excercise since it forces you to catch that moment in time.
It's cost friendly and the most efficient way of learning/training.
It's all you really need, in essence, to learn how to draw. Those books should come afterwards, when you start thinking about new tools to be using or how to expand using colours (watercolours or copic makers).
Let me get this straight. You'll never get to exagerate superheroes bodies - no matter how much artistic licence you apply - if you don't check the human anatomy first: bones/muscles/limbs...
If you guys are serious about wanting to draw, those are easy steps, easy on the wallet and the best "How to draw anything" technique. -
Take it easy my friend!
I definitely know what it's like to feel the urge to stop, take a step back, expand your horizon and ..... OH shiny new game!
But seriously, this is always a good thing. Hope to see you back with new posts and threads in here! -
And thus the epic tail of TsumijuZero's screenshot found an end
-
3D and vectors? A match made in heaven?
It's great! Lots of attitude and badassery!
(Nitpick: Maybe a little too dark?) -
Could this be the same Flying Circus SG/Guild that one can find on Burlok?

Interesting comment. Actually, they don't. The bone structure is fairly different. Libby's face is rounder and a bit older; Ni has a very narrow face with an odd jaw shape that makes her look like a psycho when she smiles. I guess they both have a few characteristics in common like high cheekbones. They also both have the same skin MAT (IIRC), though the eye colours are obviously different, and so is the hair (in structure as well as colour).
I dunno, maybe appearance really is only skin deep.

All this description on paper is boring. I would like to be able to tell all of those things just by looking at the picture.
Oh, and: bubble, pop:
Actually, they do (look alike).
Both noses and mouths look very similar which adds to the them being twin like.
Make one smile, smirk, make a psycho face,... anything!
Either they look bored or they have had too much botox.
It's getting better though. Composition and lighting makes for some nicer pictures with a better ambiance. -
Try the character selection screen/tailor screen? better view and easier to zoom for face screenshots without the transparency...

Indeed, I see what you meant thanks to your previous post. I'll definitely change it if Sapphic Neko is ok with it. Remember, her toon has white ears on blonde hair...
Swiss Draw? Better than Swiss Roll in my opinion. Over used term in daily newspapers that only will have my colleges and friends giggle at me... -
Thank you all again for your comments!!
@SteelRat:
Many sacrifices!I am the lord of lazyness and managing to get me to pull the finger out is a feat
@GG:
I definitely took your comment in consideration in the previous thread.
What I did to remedy this is smooth the ears more. But I see you still feel the same way about the ears as you did before.
I do have a better idea now of what you meant so I'll modify a little since I have to change other things. The shine for example, a little too powerful. I'll tone that down too.
Thanks for the comment
There is a swissy pvp match? haha! No really? I don't spend that much time in game anymore...
@DW:
Happy cakeday! -
Thanks all for your comments
Glad you like it Neko!
@Miss_Chief: Hmm, it could be interesting alright to have them swap places. Although I do have a lot to catch up on since I took such a long break from drawing... ¬_¬ -
September. <censored> September 2008!
That's when I started drawing this picture.
Geez I'm slow.
Anyway, It's done. Since I picked this drawing up again 2 weeks ago, I've had much fun. Trying to harness the concept of light source and casted shadows, taking a step further from simply inked + colour, etc... I learned a lot on that one.
I feel y'all don't care about the blabla
Onto the picture then:
Sapphic Neko & Sapphic Shock

Details on the development HERE.
Hope you like it as much as I enjoyed getting my pawns stuck in! -
Loving it. Really.
The uni-coloured background makes it even better in this case.
Kudos! -
Chiming in on the wink thing, if you look at yourself in the mirror and wink, 3 things are noticeable (observe and feel the muscles on your face):
1- the eyebrows aren't on the same level.
2- the lower eyelid of the closed eye is pushed upwards
3- following the lower eyelid, the side of the mouth goes up as well.
Case in point
Keep em coming Knightly, they are great, mate! -
Both are fine for me, coloured and monochromed.
What strikes me as odd is that this is the first time you make a picture where I find the character(s) to look stiff with unnatural poses.
Maybe it's just me but I'm not fond of this one as much as I am of all your other ones.
Love the wings though. -
Just popping in to say that you're doing a fantastic job in my opinion and that your art is solid.
Keep it up, thumbs up, high five and long live Psygon! -
So where do I officially put this name down?
I can see it already: "Oh Jules, tu descend?"
-
"Jules" would suit you better

Woot! Gief teh moneez!!11
Nice one.
Oh and Soulasylum is a she ^^ -
Indeed.
More composition, more lighting and shadows, more realism! Even with the chibi stuff
