  1. In the Philippines, Darna has the iconic status of Superman and Wonder Woman combined:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darna

    http://www.internationalhero.co.uk/d/darna.htm

She's been in comics, tv shows and films over there since 1950. In fact, there's a healthy comic book industry over there complete with all the genres you can imagine.

Needless to say, the last two actresses to play her on TV have both been smoking hot, so here's some blatant eye candy:

    Marian Rivera:

  2. Thanks for the quick replies everyone...I can now breathe easier using the VIP pass
  3. Ah, that makes sense about the gold/PL sellers. To clarify, I wanted to dual-box for RP reasons and didn't feel like rerolling and levelling one of the characters on a new account.

    Also, mechanics-wise, they would have made a good duo - a 50 dark x3 defender and 50 SS/WP/Soul Brute.

Anyway, thanks for the quick replies and I think I'll save my coin and keep my one account.
  4. Hi all.

Here's a question I think I know the answer to, but I'll ask to confirm.

Can I switch characters between 2 of my accounts? I don't have a 2nd account, but was thinking about it and I couldn't find anything on these forums or on ParagonWiki concerning that.

I'm guessing "no" - good guess?
  5. Hi everyone.

Just got GR and made my brute a rogue and took him blueside. I get that my team search window only shows red zones, the Oro portal only takes me to red zones, etc. I figure I need to go full hero for those to change.

But when I activated the VIP Pass power, a window pops up warning me that activating the power will revert me to my "native alignment". I thought it meant I was going to be made a villain again, so I cancelled and went to Pocket D via KR, didn't feel like redoing 10 tips and a morality mission again.

So, is this working as intended, or a bug? Did anyone click OK and get their alignment reset to the original?

    Thanks in advance.
  6. Actually, I don't even have the computer back from the store yet, but when it gets here, it'll be wiped clean. Since I have to reinstall the base City game anyway, might as well do it from the GR Complete Collection disk.

Still, good to know that GvE goodies are attached to the account - I'm assuming same thing applies to booster pack goodies.

Now if only that computer gets here soonish...
  7. So, load the game from the disk, GvE goodies are attached to my account and make sure to upgrade account with serial number from Complete Edition disk...

Sounds easy enough, thanks for the replies everyone
  8. Hi everyone

My computer just had issues and is in the process of receiving a memory wipe and reinstall.

The version of City on it is the GvE edition which I purchased online. I figured now would be a good time to get GR, so was thinking to pick up a hard copy of the Complete Collection.

I just like having a hard copy around, so that game reinstallation is easier (y'never know when computers die) and takes less time. However, I would also like to keep the GvE stuff - jump pack, VIP pass, costume pieces.

My question is: should I reinstall the game (GvE) first, which will take about 9 hours, then load the GR expansion from the disks? Or just just load the Complete Collection altogether, but if I do that, can I get access to the GvE stuff without the 9 hour wait?

Just trying to figure what which is the fastest way I can get back to playing AND having all the goodies from both GvE and Complete Collection

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Post a Character

Awesome thread is awesome! So many cool characters and creative minds.

I lurk much, post little. Which explains why I don't have permission to add attachments; by the way any help would be appreciated about how I could change that, other than posting a gazillion times.

So here's a link to a VirtueVerse page:

    http://www.virtueverse.com/index.php...Rockeblast.jpg

Someday, I'll have time to make a proper page, so it's kinda basic right now.

And the bio as it appears in-game:

Hail fellow heroes and citizens of Earth 322!

Roger Rocketblast of the Galaxy Rangers here, from Earth Prime, the year 2010. I am a participant in the Science Hero Exchange Program between our realities, and I am very happy to make your acquaintance.

Indeed, your 2010 is different from mine, for example; I see no flying cars or robot servants, people still dress in "cloth", your music is a tad louder and what is that smell in the air? And am I to understand that you did NOT colonize your Solar System in the 1950's, while enslaving every ape on the planet after a plague wiped out all dogs and cats?

Yet, despite your backward cultural and technological development, we fight the good fight against evil and I am honored to battle alongside you. Fight the good fight!
  10. Hey there, Texas_Justice

I followed your advice from the previous post and as you can see, Service Pack 2 successfully installed, but the drivers still show up as yellow. I did the whole thing twice, it was a 2 hour ordeal

Anyway, the DriverSweeper gave me the option to analyse and clean the nVidia display, so I chose that the first time and checkmarked all and hit "clean", right away it gave me the option to reboot and I did, then installed the drivers I had saved previously from the website. Nothing popped up that I had to cancel. So, not sure what that means and likely I'm missing something.

Thanks again for your help...if it continues, I might just take it into the shop, still on warranty...but I was hoping to avoid doing that.

    Later,
    SV

Thanks for your quick reply, Texas_Justice, I'm installing Service Pack 2 as we speak.

I'm not sure how to fix the driver installation corruptions however. I checked them in the Device Manager and both say that they're updated and they have proper installation dates, not what it says in the yellow text. Should I take the computer into the shop? Or is there some way I can fix it from here? Is it that "rollback driver" feature in the device manager, then reinstall?

Sidenote: the game worked fine this weekend, only giving up the ghost after a good 10 hours of playing, the weather had cooled radically, so that might have been it. Still, I've played this game in warmer weather for longer, so something's up.

    Anyway, thanks again.
  12. Hi all, I'm bringing this thread back from its recent death because I'm having the exact same problem. Just began yesterday, once in awhile, now it's clockwork - 5 minutes of 2-3 fps, then normal for 1 minute, then back to 2-3 fps, etc.

I already contact Support and emailed them the file they asked me to, so that's pending. I updated my drivers etc. I did read this whole thread and downloaded nVidia System Monitor (my card is a GeForce 9400). Anyway, it says my temperature is 27-28 celsius, like in the 80's fahrenheit, way too hot, I know, but I'm not sure what to do about it, as it is hot and humid in this house and the fan is spinning and relatively dust-free. I might try leaving the case open, we'll see.

I figured I'd post this info here if anyone could help, suppose it doesn't hurt to use all avenues available. Thanks in advance...

BTW, Inquizitor, did you ever figure out what was causing your problem?
