Ah, that makes sense about the gold/PL sellers. To clarify, I wanted to dual-box for RP reasons and didn't feel like rerolling and levelling one of the characters on a new account.
Also, mechanics-wise, they would have made a good duo - a 50 dark x3 defender and 50 SS/WP/Soul Brute.
Anyway, thanks for the quick replies and I think I'll save my coin and keep my one account.

Come to think of it you'd still have the issue with PL sellers; just roll a new alt on the new 2nd account and pay to have it PL'd, then transfer the character to your main account. If there's no characters of value on the 2nd account you're not risking a lot allowing the nefarious PL seller access... other than letting them steal your CC info when you pay them that is.|

It really would be opening a can of worms that's probably best left closed, even though I would like to transfer a character to my 2nd account personally. There's just too much room for abuse.
