What secondaries synergize best with Beam Rifle? And if anyone is willing, do you have a build to help show?

What are you guys doing for the upcoming double experience weekend? Does anyone want to try and form groups to maximize the bang we get for our buck? What plans do you have already? Are you excited?

I'd love to hear what you guys are going to be doing to take advantage of it!

I'm going to try to rush my level 36 Stalker to 50. Then probably get my level 46 Stalker to 50, possibly my level 45 Peacebringer too. Then if I'm lucky and have people willing to help me, I'll get my level 36 Bane Spider to 50 too!

Of course, during intermission time periods, I might try to help people level on my level 50 WP/SS Tanker, though given the last ITF I ran on her, I'm not so sure I'd be contributing all that much...

So I've got a purpled out build that I need to meet but I'm not 100% sure how to easily acquire purples without spending billions of influence since I've never tried before. I should specify that this is in regards to purple PvP IOs since I just never really see those around. I have plenty of converters and a bunch of hero merits saved up --- What should I be doing to efficiently get Gladiator's Strike or the Gladiator Armor defense proc, or Panacea? Those seem to be the ones I'll need to get my Stalker to a decent place. Are there any tips?

So the character this build is for is conceptually a speedster. Much as I don't want to, could I drop Flight and Vengeance in favor of Hasten and then Super Speed? Where should I slot that Karma if I do that? Should I put any slots in either Hasten or Super Speed as a result? I have a number of enhancement booster things, so I could put a recharge reduction invention boosted to +5, might that bridge the gap for permanent hasten or help at all?

Also, can HamiOs be converted via enhancement converters?

So in away from the Game but will be back in a few days. If te GS is going to be replaced by the second ATO soon, how soon is that? Should I even bother spending the money to get that? Or is there something cheaper I could use as a stand in until ATO 2? How vital is it?

I do really want something like those Fist Of attacks that Statesmen and Reichsman have.

Amazing to get such a quick reply! I really appreciate. Can I ask, is vengeance absolutely necessary for instance? Or Flight? Are any of the powers in this build set mules? Any misc. tips for it?

Could I get some help on how to build my stalker when I hit 50? I just want what everyone ones, to deal a lot of damage, not worry about endurance and hopefully avoid dying if possible to get all three. Could I get some help with that as far as IOs and slotting goes? I can afford purples.

I'm curious if/where I can use Stalker's Guile in the best way possible, and where/what I have that can help me maintain the endurance to keep up my attack. Any and all assistance is appreciated!

Some of my smaller questions: What mastery should I be taking? What powers should I avoid like the plague in either set? What would be my ideal attack chain? What should I look for in Incarnate abilities?

Hey everyone! I'm a returning player, three year veteran who hasn't played in a long while! I hate to be super OCD, but I'm super interested in playing Street Justice, since I hear it's a really fun set.

I also love to DPS, but haven't really done it in this game. To that end, do any of you have any tips for which AT to play it with if I'm super keen on DPS? And further, what sets does it synergize with best? I'd love to have some ideas so I can get to work on levelling a new character!


(Some build suggestions as far as IOs or Incarnate stuff goes wouldn't hurt either... )

1. Warworks pieces or something based on them. Essentially, sleeker, heavier armored Clockwork parts.
2. The parts of the Victoria model Clockwork. IMPORTANT NOTE: The arm-blades are unfeasible and -unecessary.- Giving us the rest of it would be -fantastic.-

3. Rommie's double shoulderpads, sans the fur.
4. Vanguard Wizard backpieces.

5. Sashes, just to quiet that rabble.

So, I'll obviously start.


Character: "Omni-Runner"

-In King's Row in the last few weeks, there've been several cases of 'peculiar' graffiti being done up on the walls of buildings. The three seperate incidents depict disturbingly photo-realistic murals depicting respectively

1. A strange city seated on an island. Gold stars are prominently featured in the decor. It's a shining city, and the buildings are illuminated with the painted moonlight.

2. What experts have confirmed to be Mount Adams during twilight hours. There seems to be a column of flame erupting from the side of the mountain, the fire and smoke forming a stylised ghostly visage.

3. An old man, dressed casually. Tanned and bald, His smile is kind, but his stare is piercing. He's rendered down to the finest details, giving the wall the surreal appearance of the man actually being gigantic and present.

Witnesses claim to have seen these murals suddenly appear bit by bit over the course of several minutes. When done, a blue woman with short, red hair would suddenly appear before it and inspect it, before disappearing in a flash of blue light. The PPD have no suspects, and the city council is meeting soon to determine whether the graffiti should be removed or left alone.

Character: Symphony of Light

-A famous member of Powers Division from Praetoria, The Symphony of Light and several other members of the Division have been sent to Primal Earth by Provost Marchand to improve relations with the Primals. Currently, Hero Corps is providing them with shelter in their headquarters while the heroes work on negotiations.

Hummm. My character Symphony of Light's powers are magic in origin, so she's a traditional flies around and bricks and such

Harmony of Light, her primal is a Peacebringer. Snapshot Partisan is a regular human. The closest to being remotely special about her is that her boots are sort of springy, so she can hop around with alot more agility than average joe. (Ninja run!)

Antebellum uses the Antebellum Protocol's built in rocket boots while altering her kinetics at the necessary moments to maintain a swift flight.

Cthonic Rite uses magic! So some kind of air incantation.

Okay, hi people. I've been playing CoX on and off since i3 or so, and I am exceptionally, extremely stupid.

Anyway, so I've made an SS/WP Tanker, with the dream of tanking effectively as I level. I dream of nigh invulnerability in the truest sense of the word.

My problem? I don't get the number crunch 100%. If you explain it to me as people do here, I'll figure it out though.

Other problem: I don't know nothin' 'bout IOs. So a bit of help in that regard would also be appreciated.

All that said, I'm really just looking to have a character that can really prove great and useful in a team. Not entirely sure if it's even necessary for me to say this, but I won't be PvPing. I don't really care about PvP.
