  1. I wish you could give Concentrated Strike the Assassin's Strike animation. I want to HADOUKEN! And it should be given to Focus Burst as well!

    Elec or Spines?

I personally prefer Def over Res myself, which is why WP has me aggravated so much at the moment on my stalker. The trade off of def where getting hit, when spec'd enough, is rare but that hit hurts; I appreciate it much more than what I'm too stubborn to put down.
  3. Top second, I've seen her around. That's kind of cool.

I don't think it's so much as to what Arc wants but more along the lines of refusing approval for something that's a shot in the dark.
  5. I'm still trying to figure out a good build for WP's side of the archetype spectrum. Many bosses eat right through Strength of Will if you don't have your pop-heal up and ready to recover. Which is unfortunate as I love popping the Tier 9 and turning the tides to what could be an exciting battle, only for a stray swipe to knock me flat on my face. It's much more difficult in my opinion to play WP as a stalker than a scrapper, to where you need additional powers just to support it (Tough and Weave).
  6. Grumbles softly, "No work for me today. Revenues went down late last week. Lo and behold I check my schedule for today and I was taken off both for today and Friday. So I got a four day vacation right hur." Plops down on the nearest couch, props his feet up on the arm rest, and rests back staring up at the sealing.

"Hmm, I wonder if they serve pancakes out there in the universe."
  7. Feel free to check out the Chalet in the D. Just to get accustomed to the current frequent visitors, get to know some folks (not pervertedly but find people with like-minded interests) and go from there.
  8. I saw a glass suicide once. I was seven and we went out to Chilis. Apparently the glass was hot and it's contents were cold, for about five minutes you could hear what sounded like ice cracking and then all of a sudden, <[Smash]>, thing just goes on and offs itself.
  9. Yo, I think you mean heard. :P

Maybe nothing happened at all and he removed himself. If that's not the case I dunno. =/ I don't even know what SG you're talking about >_<

I agree so I base Enerjack's intel solely on what he's browsing under people's previous answers. I try to handle it with a bit of creative thinking in terms of what he knows. Otherwise depending on the character, like Rose Maiden for example, are just popular from the get go; anybody with mild interest in study would do some research which is Enerjack's fake middle name!

Especially from a business stand point, subscriptions take precedence... not cosmetics.
  12. You do go back to hiding but often times a mob hits you faster than the duration required. In most cases, while flashy and entertaining, sometimes even waiting around to get that crit easily gets interrupted. In any case, the duration is long enough to make interrupting chains difficult. You'll get the hang of it.
  13. That's one thing they need to do for channels, expand the character list. I wanted to get in too but haven't tried in a while because it's full

Go for it but bet The Tattler would give out a hit on you. It'd be Shadow Broker vs Shadow Broker. :P
  15. I think what he's thinking is the whole, "You either got a 'piece' or you don't." Which is physical. You don't have an apple if your banana is green, so to speak.
  16. Ninjitsu, IMHO, is the very embodiment of how playing a Stalker should be. It's the perfect secondary in my mind, for the AT though I still prefer SR the most. The problem here though is Dual Blades.

Have you used it before? Do you understand the mechanics involved? Dual Blades isn't necessarily a damage heavy set from the get go and unless you're planning on fully speccing out with IOs it's still going to lack compared to Ninja Blade or the rest. The thing about Dual Blades is it's very situational, very reliant mostly on it's chain-listings than on just mashing 1-2-3-4-5 (for me a stalker 4-5-x-x-x-x- where 4 is BU and 5 is AS). Skill chains are the very focus of the primary set, much easier to control though than say Assassins from Guild Wars where defying the progression of the chain resulted in misses. In CoX this isn't the case, as any power can be activated on it's own but you still gain a better benefit from following the chain of your choosing.

From weakening foes to bleeding or frontal AoE knock downs. It can be fun, just don't expect to see single digit high numbers outside of AS.
  17. Folks will have to be extra careful and choose their "partners" wisely when hanging out in the D. Enerjack will enjoy this!

When the game was in beta and released, I do recall similar events. I coined this off as lag though, you saw your character stop but the game had not fully registered the action. Suffice it to say, since even my two year absense I have yet to run into this problem. Unless if I'm hit by a dot effect (which I think there's an issue here as sometimes it effects you and sometimes it doesn't) the only time it interrupts is if I didn't time it properly on the move.

I'd agree to a point. I think it's the timing you have that's the problem. Weeks back I was in an ITF trying to kill a minotaur who was constantly moving. It was a problem only because I was trying to activate the skill while my avatar had not come to a complete stop.

Very true, due to the above.

*Assassin strike is only useful against stronge targets. A target that dies from AS had less remaining HP than the damage AS does, reducing the meaningful damage and therefore use of AS. Skill does not change this.
Little bit subjective. You'd agree Sappers are a threat no? Yet they're not the strongest of Malta's mob list.

    *Demoralize
Personally, maybe I just don't pay attention to the numbers enough or something but, Demoralize seems very noneffective towards end game tasks. 53s at max difficulty barely feel it and that's besides the point of it not always executing. Would of been better if AS became a standard attack power in the event of not being hidden and always applied this affect to a slightly larger degree.

This is one thing that bugged me during my leap of absence of a two and a half year of utter frustration. When I came back it seems like they turned back the tab feature. It was great three years ago, you didn't need to select closest or farthest, it did primarily what you wanted it to do. Now it doesn't even properly target mobs right under Next setting. It would target mobs two blocks away while one is point blank right in front of me. I'm not sure if this was intended or a bug that went largely unnoticed but I certainly caught it going on when first stepping foot in Praetoria.

Not necessarily and yet not right either. Some folks have harder times than others coming up with different variations that reference the same thing. Take blood for example: Crimson, Amber, Red, etcetera. Where one may have difficulty, that doesn't mean it's universal to all participating parties but that's besides the point, you said it yourself; it's subjective. Absolutely.

  21. In Highschool my Algebras' teacher's son actually had hormonal imbalances to where he grew bewbs, he was still strait and considered himself so. The only time this would drastically affect someone is when they're still developing in the womb.
  22. I'd argue there's plenty of names. Even after seven, give or take, years people still create new characters by the tip of the hat. That sounds more like a personal problem, than a fault of the game. However a problem does exist to the picky system as a whole. Could always go the CO rout and allow doubles but then tells would have to include one's global AND the character name in the event of a conundrum!
  23. I was gone for a little over two years and I came back paying over time cards. So I'd disagree there, the conditions are fine the way they are. Folks who don't care may "respond" once if they don't come back it's likely two more years down the road they could either forget.

It's not a question of precedence, it's a matter of interest. The player payed their money for that account and it's character creations, therefore they did their time at one point or another. Only ones this wouldn't apply to would be trial accounts since they essentially didn't buy the game and road on a free ticket.
  24. Haha The Paragon Tattler! Oh this'll be good. xD
  25. Yurp, that was a typo. Had two different things running through my mind >_<
