Fireflash shook his head and lead a couple of hostages out, he limped past Edward not giving the villain a second thought as he lead the hostages out.

He lead them to a ambulance and collapsed again, he had pushed himself hard today and it was showing, two paramedics helped him up and he nodded his thanks. He got his mediporter activator out, he was sure the heroes left could deal with this, he needed some medical help himself now his chest sure didn't feel good.

He activated the mediporter and slowly faded from view, to exhuasted to carry on fighting, he said down the intercom to the other heroes
"You all, we all did the best we could, don't feel so bad about it, i'm off to hospital, let the clean up crews know, so they dont go looking for anoter body, over and out". As he vanished finally he just hoped those left behind would tidy this all up.

A tiny hovering camera had been watching this whole thing and it moved out of the warehouse and transmitted its recordings.

In the rouge islands in a dark room with a wall filled with a bank of monitors they all turned on showing the recording, and a echoy womans voice said after it was complete, "So it seems Edward wont let heroes die, and is protective of kings row, interesting".
The shadowy figure smiled to herself it seemed two heroes were dead and two wounded, that amused her greatly and fireflash one of her enemies lackys was one of the wounded ones, even better.

With its work done the tiny camera detonated and there was nothing left of it for anyone to tell that this whole event had been watched and studied.

Fireflash glared under his helmet as Edward went past, he didn't say anything though. He just shook his head in disbelief and slowly got to his feet

"Ok guys lets get these people out of here! he shouted to the others painfully and coughed a bit and went on, "We better hurry this place could fall on top of us at any second".
He knew he was not in charge or anything but he just wanted to snap people out of their shock. It would hit him later, he knew it, this had not been a good day at all.

He had tried his best to see through the flames and smoke to find anyone that needed help but Fireflash coundn't see a thing. He was about to go and look some more when a fireball from the blast hit him in the chest, he let out a startled scream and was flung down the corridor with the force of the hit. He hit a wall and slipped down it and he sat up proped against the wall breathing heavily, his armour had protected him, however he was sure he had broke a rib or two and would probably have concusion. He moaned painfully and stood up
"This is just getting worse and worse".
He said quietly and he sat back down again as the heat exhaustion hit him. part of a wall was giving him some cover, he was going to have to get out of here but he was not going to leave without knowing all the innocents were out.

I dont see why this idea couldn't work.

Fireflash finally freed himself and hit the floor hard, he was still a bit gorggy when he realised that Ed's robot was about to a torch the place.
"Oh ****". He manged to say before the room was engulfed in flame, the flames could not get through his armour though. He grabbed pious's body and glared at Edward, "I will come back for you for this one day pal!
He silently hoped that the villians would kill eachother he had saw what the psycho had done, he felt that he had failed. However there was nothing to do about that now, he had to do what he could, self pity wasn't going to get anyone anything.he swore angrilly at the psycho.

With that he dragged pious out and attempted to smother the flames, he was sure glad of the help of the other hero who had just arived to smother poius with a cape as he was not having much luck getting the flames out, he nodded his thanks to the other hero and realised that shudder he felt must have been a lot more than part of the warehouse collapsing. He had to go back in there and see if any other heroes were hurt, his powers wouldn't be much help now there was so much fire anyway, the least he could do was to help any wounded get out of there.

(Sorry if my last post took it a bit too far too fast, I'm still getting the hang of all this, feel free to alter the situation so my bits dont go as I have wrote if needed)

Captain Fireflash found himself flung across the room by a force field and he was pinned up against a wall, oh great, he had forgotten about this guy. He decided to keep out of this, if anything he was happy to let the two villains fight it out as long as the hostages didn't get hurt.

Fireflash followed the others in, he smirked to himself no traps after all, he was tempted to go right at the Nutjob, he was getting rather sick of this. Ah the old standoff, a knife to someones throat, He said quietly, "Ok, so now what? If you kill that girl theres no way you will get out alive, you want to make a deal sure I might listen".
He was talking to keep the psycho distracted and he picked up a rubber ball from his belt as he waved his other hand around with flames coming off it, "You see this? this is what will kill you, sure stabbing the girl will hurt her for a while, if you do though I will set you on fire and I'm sure no one here will put you out".
He was bluffing of course, he was not the sort of person who could kill someone, not even someone like this, though he decided to try something, no one else would have much luck and he was a veery good shot, He quickly fired a fireball at the knife in the nutters hand knocking the handle of the knife in and away so that the blde stuck out away from the victims neck, He grabbed the victim and pulled her away quickly before setting fire to the rubber ball and bouncing it off a far wall so that it rebounded and hit the psycho in the back flaming as it did, "Play ball", he said quietly and made sure the hostage got away. Now the psycho was outnumbered and surrounded, all Fireflash could do was wait and stand between the psycho and the rest of the histages and hoped his moment of heroism had done enough to change things. He said down the intercom though, "We have a hero down here, and it looks like our friend with the grenades been taken hostage too".

My bots MM just mows down countless zombies, they don't have a chance, they get totally slaughtered and my MM don't get a scratch, thats the appliance of science at work

This is looking more interesting than I thought it would, Nice heads up now I know all the times I rage log will count towards something

I know the old level cap thing would be too much of a headache to implement, instead I know this would eventaully fall into the we want more trap, but I propose alternative routes to 50. Say for example if you get one 50 it opens up a new island between mercy and port oaks or a new section of city in paragon and the like. I know it sounds a bit iffy but it is one way of getting new content and keeping the level cap.

Fireflash nodded a greeting, "Well, I have some needles of sleeping stuff, we can get those two out of the way and unconsious in a few seconds tops, it wont hurt them, I am more worried about booby traps, I did think about charging in, I think we may have to, oh and I don't know if you know but we have a hero down in there, with three of us though we should be able to watch each others step's, so i'm ready when you are, way I see it, if we get in there, we may save some of them, if we don't he will kill them all eventually". He checked his armour and pulled the needles out of his belt. He didn't like using this on innocents but they were better off sleeping in this mess that was for sure.

I jsut go and ToT in quiet places as I know it irriates people who may jsut be exiting a mission to find a gang of witches and pumpkinheads waiting for them, i'm very careful with my high level toon, I done it accidentally once but at least i stood there and told the lowbies to run as i delt with the werewolf. See people that run around doing it to [censored] people off just have no respect for other players at all, just leave people to have fun.

Fireflash ahd decided to stay low after that, ok the shadow hadn't been the nut, well that was just great. Why didn't these guys ever make it easy? He decided to wait now, he needed backup here, plus he didn't want to hasten anyone else getting hurt, maybe if he stayed quiet for a while the nut would think he had backed away after the violent display. He was part tempted to just march in there and announce himself for a proper fight but he didn't think it was going to be so easy. Trying to end this the fast and easy way hadn't worked so far, something else was going to have to be tried here. He had an idea on how to get them hostages out of the way of the door all he needed was a distraction and some backup too.

Oh great, he had heard the crash, Fireflash swore to himself, it sounded like someone had certainly made a enterance. He knew there would be traps but now he had to try and do something, he smirked and looked at the roof, well there was a new hole in it and a rafter hanging off it, great, if he aimed this right the rafter would miss the hostages and hit the shadow that seemed to be the nut, though it could jsut be a shadow either way this would distract him from the hostages. He fired a shot at the rafter and his fire ball hit it knocking it away from the hostages and down to the floor. Then he jumped across the doorway into the room the nutjob was in and fired two more blasts before taking cover in the shadows, "Ok boys and girls now the games started". He said to himself.

Captain fireflash continued to follow the damned deeper into the warehouse, he heard over his intercom that Edward had arrived and was attacking the warehouse. His men had stuck to his orders and mvoed away from all this, that was a good thing but it made his possition rather troubling, "Oh this is just fantastic i'm the filling of a villain sandwhich". he whispered a bit of worry was in his voice but he was suprised not more worry was there, then a line to a song came to his mind and he smiled a bit under his mask as he whispered, "Clowns to the left of me and jokers to the right and I'm stuck in the middle with you". He looked at the hellion as he finished the line to that song, today was just getting better and better, he thought to himself sarcastically.

Captain fireflash had spotted the damned making a run for it, he was tempted to shoot him in the back with a few fireballs but the boss wouldn't approve of that. Becides this way he could follow this guy back to the Nutjob in charge of this little show, he decided to go it alone, he didn't want to loose any men. He made his way into the warehouse depths sneaking down the corridor as quietly as he could.

Captain fireflash sighed, "Ok we just kick the door down I get it". He slowly walked over the shattered remains of the door after the grneade explosion had gone off. He looked around a bit, "Oh nice, clean up squad time".
He snook down the corridor and hid around a corner seeing if any of the gang members had survived before charging in and gaining a few extra holes.

A swat van drove through some nearby gates and skidded to a spinning halt behind the two heroes, its doors were flung open and ten Longbow soldiers jumped out of the back of the van followed by the Hero known as Captain Fireflash. He said to the sergeant of the longbow soldiers, "Stay here, keep this place covered, we have a real psycho here, don't want you guys rushing in, just keep it covered guys".

He adjusted his mask and cracked hios knuckles before he saluted the other two heroes respectfully and approached slowly. He approached slowly just to make sure they really were heroes and not some of this nut jobs friends, and he said in a professional soldier sounding voice, "You guys think this is the place too then? So whats the plan on entering? This guy will probably be a slippery charecter".

I for sure am going for this suggestion, I have done this a few times.

Well stealth is meant to dim things, to make them and you harder to see, that's all, stealth for in game purposes = a cheap version of invisibility. However seriously yes I see what you mean it's not the dimming its the total colour change that annoy's you, I know some people spend ages getting a costume just right etc. But really its only ever going to be a temp thing so I think the Devs in general will have much bigger problems to contend with.

lol sorry I can't stop laughing at the whats that floating thing scenero's I can think of. I know, I have been beaten to the punch with this though, curses foiled again, but ah well bugger it. 'Enter gang of council soldiers, right lads that bright green sword floating in the air, 1000 roundsrapid fire should make it drop 'bam bam bam'.

Hmm well as super god like vamps have been mentioned I shall have to grumble about my main villain a little. To clarify things as this is not the first time someones said she seems invincible, she is not really invincible, shes arrogant and mouthy :P There are a few ways to fight her and she can certainly be hurt a lot and she can be killed. The reason religious things don't bother her is she was never undead, has not been brought back from the dead and never made a pact with a demon. So, she is not in the offical sense unholy. She is decended from a form of evolved vampire, she is also a mutant too so has a shadow wraith part of her, so again strict anti vamp things jsut would not work on her, as for her breed of vamp well basically they came about as human hunters naturally, something that can mimic a human can hunt them better, I got that from the film mimic with the beetles looking like men in big coats. anyway if I ever get close to godmodding i'm sorry but honestly its accidential as all my chars have set out weaknesses, it makes them more real. Additionally a villain is going to act invincible it don't mean they are :P

The only real alterations that cant happen in games is my main villain can sink into shodows and use a black liquid she can vomit up to actually phase through doors and walls, this wa sjsut to add a bit of a addition element to the toon and I never use it in pvp or RP in general really, it's just there to enrich the concept.

On another note about COH story v player made story, I never claim my charecters can fight and win against recluse or state's until they actually have beat him in the game, that's how I limit my charecters powers. Plus my main chars on both sides have alt powers, meaning I have two versions of the mains explained by technology and artifacts and the like, that way I don't think i'm breaking any rules as it's a item my char wears to give them additional powers. I would alt in a fight to bring such powers into arena matches not just suddenly say. 'Generic cackling evil villain' throws fireball at you face knocking you out when its a ice dom or the like.

So I try and stick by the rules and I repsect most peoples charecters as well, unless they blatently god mod, or make really stupid/unrealistic even for COX claims I respect what their toons profiles say.

Ah now I understand this, I was sort of lead to believe this was the only MMO that does this, as i've never really played another I didn't know they all do, so it all makes sense to me now.

I know this has probably been suggested a few times before, I couldn't find one on it so sorry if it is too repetitive.

Ok if the pets for MM's are somewhat difficult to make customisable how about if they are altered based on the MM's origin. For example, A Ninja MM, for mutation origin: a sort of dark lizard ninja pack of creatures, for science origin: Cyborg ninjas, for natural the standard ninjas, for tech: Ninjas with sort of high tech equipment night vision goggles , laser guided arrows or such like and finally for magic spirit ninjas sort of ghostly versions of standard ninjas that perhaps hover. And for bot', it could be stone monsters for magic, standard for natural hovering high tech types for technology cyborgs again for science, gorilla like creatures for mutation and the like all using the same basic model just altering the clothing and skin dev side not player side, anyway just a strange idea that I was pondering.

Some additional powers that I could think of that could be added more super powers as opposed to guns etc:

Magnetics, similar to magneto however maybe could be able to create Earthquakes to magnetic forces under the Earths surface etc as well as using your enemies bullets against them and flinging knifes and the like at people and possibly could split the floor open temperary and have enemies fall into the hole and trap them in the floor till the power wore off.

Chains for doms, lolwut? yes a chain shooting power similar to cenobites in Hellraiser only of course less bloody demises of enemies not sure if it was me that came up with this one or someone on the GGOOC spot:P.

Stone infection/Medusa powerset Including stone infection you infect a targeted foe with the ability to turn his allies into stone, also has a mind control effect so he will run into his friends and turn them to stone, he looses this ability when the mind control wears off. Stone touch, you can get a item from a portal like propel power only the funiture you pick up gets turned to stone and you throw that at people instead and of course stone stare, you stare turns a targetted enemy into a stone statue for a few moments leaving them defenceless.

A twin set with this for the full medusa theme could be, snake charmer, snake hands your hands turn for a moment into snakes mouths making your hits inflic poison damage against enemies, snake hair, your hair turns to snakes that can attack the enemy, summon a giant snake to attack your enemies etc.

Animal mutation, this one would probably be tricky to pull off though, and is planned to be a slow powerful set and it would sort of be like the animalities in Mortal Kombat. You lesser attacks are like turning into a wolf and attacking people for the seconds that the attacks last to higher powers of turning into a bear or a lion and attacking your enemies.

Illusion entrapment: You magically produce a mirror and your enemy looks into it and becomes trapped on the other side of the mirror and cannot move or attack and slowly loses life points while trapped until the power wears off.Now you see me now you dont. They see you as an ally and ignore you even if you attack them until this power wears off. Circle of fear. Your enemy is scared to move as he belives he is surrounded by horrific creatures.

Sorrow a sort of alteration of mental powers, sorrow strike your enemies feel sudden sadness and this slow their attacks , anger strike your enemies attack each other in a angry fury: Sight of the damned, you show a evil enemy all they have done in a second and show them vision of hell for what they have done weakens foe and scares them. On good people reminds them of all their failures and makes them too see visions of hell for their failings.

And thats all for now, I know some iffy suggestions there but it was sort of fun making them up, they are only intended as a few ideas, not really intended as full working sets though.

I'm still interested, though my contrebutions would be probably intermitant this idea though is sound.
