A MM idea and some new power ideas.

I know this has probably been suggested a few times before, I couldn't find one on it so sorry if it is too repetitive.

Ok if the pets for MM's are somewhat difficult to make customisable how about if they are altered based on the MM's origin. For example, A Ninja MM, for mutation origin: a sort of dark lizard ninja pack of creatures, for science origin: Cyborg ninjas, for natural the standard ninjas, for tech: Ninjas with sort of high tech equipment night vision goggles , laser guided arrows or such like and finally for magic spirit ninjas sort of ghostly versions of standard ninjas that perhaps hover. And for bot', it could be stone monsters for magic, standard for natural hovering high tech types for technology cyborgs again for science, gorilla like creatures for mutation and the like all using the same basic model just altering the clothing and skin dev side not player side, anyway just a strange idea that I was pondering.

Some additional powers that I could think of that could be added more super powers as opposed to guns etc:

Magnetics, similar to magneto however maybe could be able to create Earthquakes to magnetic forces under the Earths surface etc as well as using your enemies bullets against them and flinging knifes and the like at people and possibly could split the floor open temperary and have enemies fall into the hole and trap them in the floor till the power wore off.

Chains for doms, lolwut? yes a chain shooting power similar to cenobites in Hellraiser only of course less bloody demises of enemies not sure if it was me that came up with this one or someone on the GGOOC spot:P.

Stone infection/Medusa powerset Including stone infection you infect a targeted foe with the ability to turn his allies into stone, also has a mind control effect so he will run into his friends and turn them to stone, he looses this ability when the mind control wears off. Stone touch, you can get a item from a portal like propel power only the funiture you pick up gets turned to stone and you throw that at people instead and of course stone stare, you stare turns a targetted enemy into a stone statue for a few moments leaving them defenceless.

A twin set with this for the full medusa theme could be, snake charmer, snake hands your hands turn for a moment into snakes mouths making your hits inflic poison damage against enemies, snake hair, your hair turns to snakes that can attack the enemy, summon a giant snake to attack your enemies etc.

Animal mutation, this one would probably be tricky to pull off though, and is planned to be a slow powerful set and it would sort of be like the animalities in Mortal Kombat. You lesser attacks are like turning into a wolf and attacking people for the seconds that the attacks last to higher powers of turning into a bear or a lion and attacking your enemies.

Illusion entrapment: You magically produce a mirror and your enemy looks into it and becomes trapped on the other side of the mirror and cannot move or attack and slowly loses life points while trapped until the power wears off.Now you see me now you dont. They see you as an ally and ignore you even if you attack them until this power wears off. Circle of fear. Your enemy is scared to move as he belives he is surrounded by horrific creatures.

Sorrow a sort of alteration of mental powers, sorrow strike your enemies feel sudden sadness and this slow their attacks , anger strike your enemies attack each other in a angry fury: Sight of the damned, you show a evil enemy all they have done in a second and show them vision of hell for what they have done weakens foe and scares them. On good people reminds them of all their failures and makes them too see visions of hell for their failings.

And thats all for now, I know some iffy suggestions there but it was sort of fun making them up, they are only intended as a few ideas, not really intended as full working sets though.


The end is just a new beginning, Goodbye all my coh friends and even the enemies, its been a blast I will miss you all. Thank you Paragon team, you gave me a home from home I will always appriciate it.

I think this would still have the same problems as strait forward pet customisation plus it would have the added problem of players wanting to be one origin but have the pet model of a different origin.

I think everyone and their pet robot horde wants different looks to be choosable. It has, afaik, been asked for before. Ergo, it ain't happening anytime soon, if at all. We can hope, and beg, and wish...just saying it is more likely to not happen
