(Short) Description of the character concept: she's basically the Jean Grey, or Dark Phoenix or Phoenix of the CoX world..she's not psychic but her power sure is one thing you should never underestimate..

ok everyone, with the up comming movie Watchman comming out soon. I've been inspired to create a detective type character..And it got me to wonder, who else has that inner detective.. [example: Dick Tracy, Batman, Watchman, Robin, etc.] be creative... this is just for fun so enjoy it.. and I'll go first..

most of my inspiration characters come from my background, my uncle use to have a comic book store. And I use to go there and read comic books, And it was the Dark Phoenix and Ms. Marvel that caught my attention. So much so that I created Dark Sunstar my main character on infinity.

And than later on I created States, which was inspired when I got into the military, I got huge into the Patriot act. And than I use to watch the old X-Men / Spiderman comic cartoons on T.V. and it made me want to create my own, so when CoH came out I thought it couldn't get any better.

I figure that I would create this thread cause I wanna see what inspires a person to create some of the heroes / villains that they play. I'll go first.

I Love the new DC Comics look now, with the free flowing hair and nearly life like look.

Honestly, this thread confuses me. I don't really kow what is going on.

As far as i can figure...

States' claims her brother created (and drew) the posted character Susan Steel. If he did, good on him - I could care less what type of clientele it was done for.

That being said, States, did your brother draw that pic you put in your Op and does he have a site we can visit to check out his art?

currently no.. the only site that you can reach him at is that adult site.

Now I do have to admit that Susan steel is a pretty old character, and she was created some time ago. I just asked if I could bring her to life.

But again she looks nothing like her counter part in the game, having a suit that is half way zipped down is hard to find, and the light blue and dark blue design is hard to recreate on the game also. So the picture is has it's original look and the one in the game has her own original look.

BTW, if you was to go to that site to ask for a commission, your more than likely wont get one cause theres to many artist there..

I'm only on Virtue and Infinity, I do have some on Freedom. But I'm kinda stuck between Virtue and Infinity.. Infinity being the server I originally started out on

Country?! I'm from the USA, so is my brother. Though his wife is from Japan, we was Born in Maine. Well I was born in Salem, Mass he was born in Maine.

I hate to tell ya, but I don't want peoples money. Since high school he would write stories of superheroes, and when he did them he felt there was a piece of those stories missing, so he when he got into college. He would take one art class after the next. And than he would sit down in the cafateria and just start drawing different super heroes, one of the super heroes that I was inspired by was Dark Sunstar. And than I wanna do something else after I created States, I liked DC comics and so did he. And I asked him one time to show me a few of his drawings... and he did.

Now I'm telling you this because what I said is true, he use to go to comic cons and gen cons to find someone to share his work with, so when he did find someone. He wasn't the most happy about it, and he doesn't brag about it cause he don't want people to know of his work, yeah you can go to google and type out the name and it'll be there. He's not really proud of some of his work..

Theres really no holes from my story, and even though people have doubts of his work. I do have to say that he is a bit on the iffy side. One time he was about to quit doing what he was doing. He didn't feel like having his characters degrated any more.

Now I do have to admit, that I thought of using the name Susan Steel a month or so ago. And I did not create Susan Steel until the start of December, The Art of Susan Steel is original even though I'm unable to do the same likeness as the character in the drawing. But I do love it, and I'm glad he did make it long ago.

so rather you want to believe me is up to you, but I do have to say that Susan Steel is and Original character. And if people want Commissions from him, it'll be up to him not me. I got my Commission of States from Juggy, and I Love it.

But look it up not going to like what ya see. The site that some of his art in has tons of artist so you can't really tell which one is his. Again the choice is yours..

yes... he originally made a few comic books, I thought I said that. And I do believe I remember saying he once made is own super heroes. I just didn't say what kind of art stuff he does, and comic book stuff..it's kinda how you say, it's hard to know people that do those type of comics. But thanks for asking I do try to be honest, I mean after all what do I have to gain if I fibbed on it? nothing.
