what drawing style do you like the best???

course I did the "Whats your favorate published comic art style?? " post a while back.. where everyone told there favorate artist..

but what about point blank ..realistic, manga, cartoonish, or mixed drawing styles, disneyish, or heavy stylized?.. what do you like best?? .. or can you think of a different group or better way to group different popular arts styles..

realistic drawing style is like "x-men" comic book like...

manga is like " .. .. . naruto?.. or anyother well known manga or anime.. err.. think big-eyes small mouth" ...

cartoonish is like "coolworld" ...

mixed drawing style would be like.. "danger girl... kinna like detailed cartoonish" ...

disneysih would be like " the little mermaid".. ect...

heavy stylized would be "Heavy Metal" .. or "the Maxx" something that looks different from others..

I'd have to say realistic. Maybe not with quite as much detail, so still a little more drawing-like, but about there.

I Love the new DC Comics look now, with the free flowing hair and nearly life like look.

And I also like McFarlanes look you know the creator of Spawn.

but I do also like the Anime type, some of the characters are kinda cute

I think it all depends on what's being done in the drawing. There are some things that Chibi just won't work for. I mean, do you really think that if Boris Valejo had done a chibi version of the poster for National Lampoon's Vacation, it would have looked good? On the other hand, and there are other things where Chibi is the best choice.

While I'm not a fan of Animé in and of itself, if there's a good drawing done in an animé style, I'll admire it, and maybe even... "collect" it...

So, yeah, it all depends on the subject, IMO.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I'm gonna go scour the intarwebs for moar arts by Boris Valejo, Julie Bell, and maybe even Alex Ross.

I like alot of Styles, I love Micheal Turner, Jim lee, Marc Sylvestri so... alot of image and some of the newer dc stuff.

Crime noir is a lot of fun too.

Depends on my mood and what I am looking for. I love a more realistic look but adore some of the more unique art styled pieces that I've gotten. Anime is ok, I like the more detailed though, not just the simple style.

I like the multiple anime styles like Death Note, Code Geass, and Gurren Lagann , as long as it isn't ultra simplified I'll usually like it.
I generally like a realistic look, but I like the occasional cartoon art style if it is original.
