That time has come, it's my time to leave.

It's been an eventful three and a half years - more than eventful, it's been life changing. I joined the game a shy, neurotic child - and I'm leaving a less-shy, neurotic child-at-heart. If it hadn't been for this game, these forums, and all of you, I dread to think where I'd be now. But it was, and I know where I am now, and there's so much I owe to this MMO.

But lately, my enthusiasm for the actual game has died, It's not Issueitis, I'm afraid - it's moving on time. I'm off to cancel my account after this, and while it won't expire until sometime mid-November, I won't have an internet connection after the next couple of weeks anyway.

So, it's goodbye - and a tough goodbye, too. I've made so many friends though CoH, hell - I've made enemies I'm going to miss. I even found love, completely by accident (and they say accidents are bad!). Everyone I've ever spoken to, teamed with, roleplayed (briefly) with, or argued with - thank you for an excellent three and a half years.

There are too many memories to list, but they were all AWESOME. I promise to, occasionally, hijack FG's account and come say hi - and I may, MAY pop in to have a go at i13, but it's unlikely.

I know CoH/V will continue to go from strength to strength - honestly. It'll be legen... wait for it...

Hence the famous phrase: "I'll search the HELL out of that warehouse".

Flittermaus: Decided to try and make a bat with the costume creator after watching... yes, a documentary about bats. As I was making the costume, I grew attached to the look of the character - and the fitting powerset, so I decided to give him a name and a virtual life. He became Flittermaus because I preferred the spelling to the correct "flittermouse". Also German accents are cute. He's German.

Wax Lyrical, Charley Horse and Abi Small - couldn't help myself. Wax and Charley have heavily detailed backstories, but Abi is just a pun on legs (in one of my favourite costumes to date).

Vainglory, because I wanted "Vanity" in the CoV beta and it had been taken. It was available at release, but by then I was attached to Vainglory.

And last, but not least, Stasis. It's been my online handle since I was 13 (so, a couple of years ago *ahem*), and I was both thrilled and more than a little surprised to get it. Of course, I never managed to get the name on the forums, hence "Stasisesque". There are more happy memories behind this name than my real name, so I'm very much attached to it.

I'd probably go. If I lost one name in particular, I would definitely leave.

I approve of one word polls.

I've never written a CoH related story for it, though. If I'm not too busy with the move this year, I might try it - although knowing me, it'll end up as a generic superhero story, featuring my characters, rather than a CoH lore specific tale.

After a while, writing 50,000 words isn't much of a task - it's the editing that hurts.
