  1. Peace Bringers would be a great team asset if they had access to a 'fulcrum shift' type power. (from zeroes to heroes in one move)
  2. For a cheap alternative you could consider multistrike for endurance heavy aoe attacks, fully slotted it adds a significant amount to aoe and melee def as well as getting over 90% bonus to damage and endredux.
On my elec melee I x2 multi strike sets on fast recharging aoe attacks and put Obliterate in
Lighting Rod for the high recharge.
  3. have you considered Dark melee/Inv, would make a very good tanking brute.
Siphon life adds a good top up heal and midnight grasp could be coloured to look ilke under sea fonds. Dark consumption helps smooth over endurance issues.
The to-hit debuffs from the DM attacks work nicely together with the def from inv.
  4. I'm not saying Peace Bringers get booted from task forces, just that they are not particulary sought after, strange for a supposedly team based archtype.

I guess they are about as desirable as a scrapper, maybe slightly less, like a second tank.
  5. I find using two words for a character name helps a lot, in the last month I have added the following to my list of alts:

    Metal Spike
    Solar Power
    Atomic Punk
    Stray Shot
    Gold Face

Admittedly this is on the Euro servers so it may be slightly easier.
  6. I find when the leader leaves a team the whole dynamic often shifts, these days I often leave when the leader does - do some crafting or switch alts for a bit
  7. I think the leveling pace now is pretty much spot on - not too slow so you get frustrated, not too fast so you end up with no connection the the character.

It's also pretty clear to me that this game is about Alts nowdays, If you prefer having one character that you play all the time this might not be the best game for it.

You might think that a Stone/Ice tank is the same ride to 50 as a Shield/Fire tank - they are not. (for example)
  8. Woops, wrong archtype for ninjitsu.
Dark/Elec might make a good angry storm cloud.
Shield/Elec is obviously a good combo - though perhaps a bit too common now.
  9. Sorry about the garbled post - what I was trying to say is that the perception seems to be that a Peace Bringer is a 'mercy spot' on a task force. Its that last guy you scape up because he is the only person interested.

The same does not apply to a Warshade who can stealth some tedious bits and TP the team to missions and end bosses as well as doing very substantial damage when offered large spawns to drain.

I would guess that the vast majorty if players don't have a clue what cosmic balance does or give a damn about it.

When a team needs a tank the probably don't shearch for Peace Bringers. When a team needs a Damage dealer they don't search for Peace Bringers. When a team needs a support role they don't search for Peace Bringers.

So Peace Bringers can either form teams or solo.
  10. I think one of the problems stalker players face is very restrictive early builds. You only start to get some options when you reach the mid 20s.
  11. Glowing Touch is pretty 'left field' considering how the AT works in actual play.

Its like the devs tried to shoehorn a healbot aspect into the AT because that was a popular playstyle in the olden days.
  12. The is nothing the make Peacebringers desible to a big team - the are the TF leaders girl friend of Archtypes.
  13. So a Peacebringer only really benfits a team of 3-4.

Any larger team and its likely to have a tank/brute/crab/scrapper or enough defenders or controllers to not need a tank and enough blaster/doms/SoA/firekins ect to not need a second rate blaster.
  14. Dark Melee is just a name on a powerset -it doesn't have to represent darkness at all, just a collection of powers you like the effects of. Why limit your imagination because of the names on a few powers?
  15. I did an ITF a couple of days ago, I took my SoA Huntsman, everyone on the team said 'Yay a Huntsman'.
Another player turned up with a Peacebringer, the leader said 'Errgh, do you have somthing else?'
    Nobody said 'Yay a Peacebringer'
  16. I think Peacebringers are a bit too diluted - they need a clear focus.
  17. How about adding the following to glowing touch,
When used on a foe it reduces the targets damage resistance by 25% for 10 sec, does not stack from the same caster.
  18. I'm just saying I don't think PBs should be 'Healers' as all, but I guess that ship has sailed already when they got glowing touch.
Maybe glowing touch could be a single target heal when used on an ally and a decent single target debuff when used on an enemy.
  19. I don't think turning PBs into auto follow healbots is the right way to go, In fact I think giving PBs glowing touch was a mistake and doesnt really sit well with the rest of what they do in general, now they are kind of stuck with it, somthing like heat exhaustion would have been much better imo.
  20. After playing a tri-form, bi-form and human PB in the level 40 range I can not find any good reason to keep the forms.

If they worked in conjunction with my human powers the I could see a use for them.

Warshades work fine as triform admittedly, because thay carry pets and buffs over from human to the forms.
  21. Why would my suggestion make forms less unique?
It would just make the AT a bit more appealing to the average player and make slotting a keld less of a ball ache.
  22. I don't think either of those will be a problem for Earth control - quick sand alone does
-30def, earth can control up to three spawns with ease between Volcanic gas, earth quake and stalagmites - not even taking the aoe sleep into consideration.
