There has been a steady influx of new names in the PV channel since the announcement. Not a flood, more like a trickle, but I expect more will find their way in as time goes by and people find it.

As Kult said, there is nothing stopping anyone from staying in JS while also popping in PV. In fact, I encourage it for those 18+ who don't want to miss anything and could perhaps even act as a bridge between the channels whenever event info is not readily shared on both channels.

Feel free to pass the info on to your friends, folks, if you want to share the channel with them.

There's no way anyone could say this is a replacement for Jello Shooters. Nor is it competing with JS.

JS has been around for ages, and has been a mainstay of Protector. There's no competition.

This can be seen as an alternative, perhaps, for those who were looking for exactly that.

Protector Vigilance is re-launching.

Protector Vigilance's purpose: Server events, team-ups, badges, monsters, etc - and feel free to chat away. It is, as always, a public channel, and open to both hero and villain sides.

Keep it clean, keep it decent, and respect your fellow players by avoiding inflammatory topics. Consider this channel PG13 and moderated. There are 3 mods at this time: Blazing Blue, Arion Elan, and myself.

This channel has been around for a while now, but lacking a certain "something" to make it stand out amongst the multitude of global channels out there. We think that there is a desire for a family-friendly channel that can still offers players what they want to complement their gaming time.

By an unofficial count, I have given away about 3 billion in influence, not counting recipes / enhancements, on this server since I started playing. It could very well be closer to 5 billion total depending on the market values.

And all because someone, on the first day I played, gave me some inf to help me get started, saying "pass it forward later on when you can".

Basically, it helped set in motion a mindset of helping other players whenever possible for me. I would even say it's part of the inspiration for my involvement in the past in Praesidium and its events, the New Player Welcoming Night, and even PERC and the Superolympics committee for cross-server activities.

I wish I could remember who that was exactly, to thank him or her and let that person know how much of an impact that gesture had as it cascaded through Protector, and then outwards.
