Congratulations Ice9, Cowboy Dream!
See CD?
This is what happens when you don't let Ice play more CoH. -

Saturday I'm good all day.
Sunday not so much. Perhaps in the evening, but still to be confirmed. -
I'm in, and pretty sure a few more Punishers or Phantoms would be interested.

Quote:Same deal for me, but using the Belkin Nostromo n50 and n52 gamepads.ive used a logitech g thirteen game pad everyday for 5 years. there was no preprogramed button profile.
i found out all you have to do is go menu>options>keybinds. highlight the command you want to place by left clicking lets say, "move forward",and then move the left joystick in the up position. see what im sayin'? piece o' cake. i hope that works for your other controller... -

I may have another person to add to the "usual suspects" tonight, if you don't mind.
A less experienced player I've talked to via Mentor Project who seemed interested in seeing some higher level content. -
That specific tool has worked in the past so that's why I was mentioning it.
Is that the same one you were trying? -
The original thread is here: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=227370, so you can respond over there if you will but I wanted to make sure my fellow Protectorites knew about this on the off chance that they mey be interested in participating.

There is still another method for non-US customers to get access to the NC Store goodies, if that is the only thing stopping you.
http://anchorfree.com/downloads/hotspot-shield/
Install it, without the toolbar, and the proxy will present you to the Internet as having a US-based IP address while it's turned on.
Uninstall after use unless you need it still for things like accessing Hulu.
This method has been confirmed to work for players in Europe and South America.
Note: As this method falls into a grey area, I'm proposing it for educational purposes and it does not imply in any way my encouraging the circumvention of laws or business arrangements. (the preceding is posted at the behest of Chris Jenkins) -
Happy Belated Birthday!
The cake being radioactive and glowing green,
I'm guessing it still hasn't reached half-life yet and
should still be good with a glass of barium milk. -
Interesting news.
Time to stock up for the inevitable price hikes,
PS - I hereby solemnly refuse to ever refer to the global email system as "GleeMail" -
MENTORS!
As we prepare for the next step in the Mentor Project's growth, we are trying to fill in the roles of coordinators for the following servers:
(1) Freedom
(1) Justice
(0) Pinnacle
(0) Virtue
(1) Liberty
(0) Guardian
(0) Infinity
(2) Protector
(1) Victory
(0) Champion
(0) Triumph
The number inside the brackets indicates how many coordinators are currently active on that server. 2 coordinators (one per side) would be ideal, but 1 is still appreciated if the player can handle both sides.
The EU servers are already coordinated by a mentor who's home server is Union, but if you're on EU servers and interested in assisting him, please let us know.
Coordinators act as a server liaison, and are also trusted to hold any loot collected for promoting the Mentor Project. They may also be called upon for conflict resolution. In the future, this dynamic role will be expanded upon and further refined as dictated by the needs of the project.
As originally defined, there will never be anyone demanding of your time or resources in the Mentor Project - even if you are a coordinator. But know that this role might be a better fit for those who are interested in getting more involved in this, and have an interest in promoting the project on their home server(s).
Please send me a PM if you're interested in taking up this role, or if you'd like to propose someone else based on your appreciation of their experience and skills.
There are some very interesting server specific events coming down the pipe, so if you haven't signed up and / or consulted the GuildPortal forums lately, it is strongly recommended that you start doing so. -
Quote:Steam is your issue buddy, not CoH.Argh, whatever, screw it. I don't care anyway. All Points Bulletin is gonna be more awesome than this hoop-through-hoop, mess of a game.
The post above your last one points you in the right direction for technical issues. This section is targetted more towards gameplay.
Blaming a game for your lack of interest in troubleshooting won't solve anything. -

Nice find!
I also have been looking at this page of the Paragon Wiki, as a potential reference for neophytes who are looking for more of a self-help solution:
The Players' Guide to the Cities -
Always glad to see people who combine a great reputation and experience interested in helping out.
See the first post on this thread for links to the registration form (quick, painless) if you haven't already filled that out Warface. You can list off your areas of expertise there and also decide just how involved you want to be in regards to mentorship.
Join the "N P C" channel and once the registration is in we'll upgrade you to moderator, like the other registered mentors.*
*Registration not required to join the channel and participate, but definitely useful if you want to be server coordinator, or be kept in the loop of the Mentor Project's planning. -
Thanks SM.
I was feeling particularly wasted yesterday after work and a loooong commute, so I figured I'd sit this one out instead of frustrating myself and others with my foul mood.
Can't make it for the next 2 weeks (Real Life and Canadian holidays), but I'll make up for it in the coming weeks. -
Quote:I would just like to mention, I just filled out the forms, and the ending thank-you message from Stalemate has a typo. The end of the message is as follows, truncated
"...what the next steps."
And then it just ends after steps. I am guessing a "will be" or somesuch was intended, but got removed or clipped.
Thanks much for such an awesome program for everybody.
Good eye.
Thanks for reporting that. -
If he's really been out of it to the point of forgetting the basics, this little gem I found in Paragon wiki might help:
