Dragonistic yawned and stretched, without bothering to open her eyes. Of course, in doing so she knocked a barrel of Rikti plasma sludge out of the salvage rack.
CRASH!
Tentatively, she opened one eye.
"Oh, crap."
Dragonistic squeezed between two crates of broken Crey devices and dropped out of the salvage racks. Face-first.
SPLAT.
"OW! Dammit!"
Dragonistic lifted herself to her...talons and looked around. Everyone was still out cold on the steel floor.
She walked over to a beefy orange dragon and poked him with her talon.
"Hey, you. Wake up. Made another mess."
The dragon snorted in its sleep and rolled over.
Dragonistic was about to find the backup cleanup crew when she suddenly realized what the orange dragon had just faceplanted into.
"Dammit!"
She rushed to its side. The dragon was lying facedown in the puddle of sludge she'd spilled this morning.
"Oh, crap. Oh, crap."
Quickly, her nose and mouth extended and reshaped into a muzzle. The few remaining human teeth she had left sharpened and grew longer. A lot longer.
Suddenly, her hair shrank and hardened into a lot of white spikes. Her ears lengthened and stretched backwards as her body grew lithe and serpentine, muscles rippling under the thicker, scaled hide.
Now in her full dragon form, she grabbed the orange dragon's talons and pulled.
Dammit, he was too heavy.
Dragonistic rushed around, kicking a few other lazy dragonkin.
"Get up! Get up! Vercingetorix's faceplanted in plasma!"
At once, the dragons scrambled tp their feet and started pulling the orange dragon out of the puddle.
Dragonistic gripped his shoulders and lifted with all her might.
Slowly, they yanked him across the room and onto the medtable.
As they rolled him over, it creaked under his weight. A blue dragon quickly activated the med sensors.
Vercingetorix opened his eyes. "Why am I here?" he whispered..
Dragonistic bent over him. "You faceplanted in some sludgy plasma. You feel okay?"
Vercingetorix grinned weakly. "Oh, I feel fine. But have I always had two tails?" -
Dust clouds rose over the hill of garbage. Behind that hill, Dragonistic yowled and screeched like a cat as Ink Dyne pulled her tail.
She snarled as she whipped around and scratched at Ink Dyne's eyes, her tail sending a wayward can into the air.
Ink Dyne jumped back, panting. "Why the hell're we doing this, anyway?"
Dragonistic froze in her tracks and let her claw drop to her side.
Yes, why ARE we doing this? she thought in puzzlement.
Ink Dyne held up the tin of roast beef. Almost immediately, Dragonistic's mouth watered.
"Give it to me! Please! I'm starving!"
Ink Dyne shrugged and tossed the beef at her head. Dragonistic caught it deftly, then she ripped it open and began to eat.
"...It seems lately like you're...Drifting away. You're a lot more distant."
Ink Dyne looked back. Was she angry, or was she just tired?
Ink turned to walk away.
"By the way, my name is Seraphim."
Dragonistic stared. This life must be taking its toll on Ink Dyne, for you never knew what she'd say next.
She wasn't like this before. Something was going on.
Dragonistic sighed and slowly opened her crumpled wings.
She grabbed Ink Dyne by the shoulders, then suddenly kicked off the ground and sailed over the dump.
"Let up a bit," Ink Dyne complained. "You're squeezing me too tight."
Dragonistic gritted her teeth. "If I loosen my grip, you'll fall." -
New song choices:
Full Force from Tales of Symphonia (Battle music) - Makes me think of Ink Dyne fighting Dragonistic and entangling her in thorny vines...o_O
Drifting Away by Lange - Ink Dyne's theme music. In a sense, she really is drifting away.
Can't Get You Out Of My Head by Kylie Minogue - Funny if you have a WS/PB arguing with the squiddy in their head. -
AAAAAAAHHHH!
/e runs and hides from the lack of scales, fur, feathers or steel* -
And for insulting her, Dragonistic gives you the Glare Of Doom, which burns a hole in the wall behind you
-
Hey, that's cool!
IT looks so much better than the WIP.
-
Yeah, squiddy attack!
-
Great, then! The webcomic will be full of badly drawn dragons and pixelated sprite shards...
If I do decide to assist you in the comic, be warned: I am very lazy... -
Can't draw dragons from the front that well, and my humans? Don't ask.
Ah, suddenly I remember! There was this old webcomic I used to do, on some Pokemon forum or other...Uses cut-and-edited-and-pasted Pokemon sprites. The thread's gone, can't find it. -
Seriously? Heh...You haven't seen my art...It's not stinky, but it's not that good...
This is one of my better weirdo dragons... -
IF you want, you could draw it like a hand with VERY long, thin fingers...
-
I would love to, but...My scanner kinda sucks, and I'm absolutely terrible with Photoshop, etc.
-
I know!
First, make a line sloping downwards for the beginning of the elbow. Then, make a line upwards off it, sorta curving it towards the beginning of the line. Make a tiny indent there, and this will be where the wing-claw is.
Proceed to draw the wing-fingers (Two lines each), following the curve of the elbow.
when you're done, simply add the wing-membranes and the other side of the elbow. Then add the wing-claw in the little indent.
Ta-daah. -
Can't wait 'till D's finished!
-
The hair...
The goggles....
ZOMG IT'S A CREY AGENT!

Your drawings are really good, can't wait to see how D turns out!
