Anybody know a way to draw dragon wings?

Well the way I usually draw them is on my deviant ID or in my Crittic Chibi
Also Raven8dragon has a TON of awesome dragon drawings that might help you for reference.
I know!
First, make a line sloping downwards for the beginning of the elbow. Then, make a line upwards off it, sorta curving it towards the beginning of the line. Make a tiny indent there, and this will be where the wing-claw is.
Proceed to draw the wing-fingers (Two lines each), following the curve of the elbow.
when you're done, simply add the wing-membranes and the other side of the elbow. Then add the wing-claw in the little indent.
Ta-daah.

It's for Dragonistic. Drawing her avatar, but doing a full body shot for the avatar, then cropping it, and going to show the full version too. Anybody know a good way, that doesn't make it look like it's cut out of paper?
