Oh, apologies, I never pay attention to broadcast.
AE or not ,it's full of garbage most of the time.
I'll tell you why I like AE:
When I roll a new character, I do Isolator, then to AE in Atlas (sorry the Galaxy one is further away, and I don't run fast at level 1) I do the Arc called 15 minutes AE tutorial, or something like that, then I do the Butterfliy effect, and after these two, I'm level 6 and I got plenty of badges.
Saves me from running everywhere.
Then Kings Row and police scanners to get a bank and a contact. -

Actualy, Croatoa is the only one I use, except for the tutorial.
I never craft IO's before level 35, at this time, Talos Island is the most central zone and it's faster to go to Croatoa's university than Steel"s -

I met someone last night that said they have played CoH before. They got the AE box and played for a month or so and said they got tired of the MA stuff and then quit.
A new player didnt even know that there was a BUNCH of normal content out there for them to enjoy! They didnt know anything but AE. And, they got burned out fast on it.
That is damn sad. After hearing that person say that, I now believe something needs to be done about new people that come into the game. They need to know about their contacts and the normal content that is there. Not just AE.
Before I didnt care, but after talking to them I believe something needs to change. I didn't think it was this bad.
Maybe we need to once in a while broadcast in atlas that there is normal content out there for them to enjoy.
After I explained to them what they missed, they got interested again and will be coming back.
P.S. Don't know how well I said what I wanted to. I am VERY tired.

On the other hand, it's an ART site.
People upload paints, computer art, sculptures, photographs.
There are a ton of great comic artists posting there (Ryan Ottley from Invincible, Leinil Francis Yu, Brandon McKinney, David Nakayama, Jack Lawrence and many more)
DA was never meant to be a host for screenshot or holyday pictures, there are tons of provider for that. Having a few in scrapbooks for reference sake I can understand, but having only screenshot in a gallery ? It can be borderline for them. -
Two comments here:
1st: Sewer teams are EXACTLY like AE teams. They are teams that want fast levelling through great xp. Only it happens in the sewers not in the AE. For 5 years I've never understood sewer teams: fast xp of course, but multiple deaths and incompetent players most of the time.And now, I don't understand why AE is worse than sewers.
2nd: If you don't want to play in the AE, ignore it. I've got a bunch of characters that I've created after AE went live, and I've played them exactly like I did before: grind to 5 in Atlas, then move to KR and do newspapers and arcs. -
Finaly finished, I'm happy, can't wait to receive it !!!

Nah... 'Cause that presumes the NPCs made it past the drones and the large numbers of heroes standing around in front of and inside City Hall.
I think it'd be best to have it in a Graveyard or a Park. Perhaps just South of the Atlas Statue, set the Memorial there?
I suggested a Graveyard so that they could make a big speech while opening it and sweep their hand out over the graves of fallen heroes and citizens to make some gesture of appreciation to all of them while they open the capsule.

Yes, since ir's always been a memorial in the cape mission, it would have been great to have something nicer than a blue lab with some generic objet.
I've been thinking that since the capes were introduced, and I'm kinda disapointed it's not changing. -
With hero one's time capsule introduced with i15, one could have thought the cape mission would change a great deal.
Well, now we have the foes sleeping before the hero attacks.
Still the same map, still the same object to defend...

Wha is a "normal team" in Atlas ?
For ages, there's been sewer team, which are exactly the same as Meow teams, they are looking for the maximum xp/minute ratio.
I've never liked to be invited in sewer teams but I lived with the occasional tells, as I leave with the tells from AE farms.
If you really want to avoid AE farms, why not starting in Galaxy ?
If I want to do a mission with only lieutenants and run it all alone, I will face groups of 2 lieutenants, maybe three, how do I ruin the game ?
The game is 5 year old, and it will last another 5 years at least.
Farmers have always been there, and every attemps to break their toys has led to them find new toys.
I still solo with great success through regular missions and find regular group when I want.
