Just a note on the not getting teleported back to the hideout bug. If you and your team log out and back in you can then use the LFG tab to Rejoin the event. This puts you back in the lobby and you can go from there. Annoying, yes, but a viable work around for now.
Edit: As a note has anyone noticed the IOs minimum level is set by what level the character you get it with is? For example my level 50s get them as a 47 minimum and my 30s got them as a 27 minimum. WAI I wonder? -
Quote:Hurray for easy! I never noticed this issue before so thanks for pointing it out. I've changed that in the version that's up now. as of 6/19 11:00pm EDTThanks so much for the updates.
Since you're on the topic, I'd like to make some suggestions if you (or anyone else that has the time to look into it) would like to do so.
An easy one to start, in fact, I've already made this change in my own copy - the health inspiration, Resurgence, is misspelled as Resurgance. There are a few places where this occurs, but any decent global replace should fix things right up.
Quote:Secondly, this is probably just a complex bind that I could do on my own, but I've often used a bind to combine inspirations of all different types into one of another type (for instance, a bind that will try to combine all Insights, Lucks, Respites, etc. into Catch a Breath inspirations). If this was either added to the inspiration poppers form or a new form for inspiration combining, that would be nice. -
Honestly, it's because when I first posted this it was something like 2:00am and I clicked the first ALL ACCESS section I came across. I had sense enough to put it where everyone could see it and be able to post about bugs, but not enough to pick the right section. =/

Quote:I'm glad you enjoy the program. I find it to be a great help.Spacebar, forgive my rudeness for not mentioning earlier my thanks and appreciation for this application. As mentioned I've used it for my masterminds, and the ability the binds offer in minion control vs. without them is night and day, and incredibly easy to access.
...In fact, it's what allowed me to spend 1500+ hours on my mastermind, and pretty much the sole reason I even play the archetype. Without it the basic controls feel to fumbly/limited, and I've been spoiled by how much I can set actions of my minions. I know the binds are out there and able to be created manually, but this program does in seconds what it would take me hours in browsing/trial and error to get together. So thank you very much!
Just in case someone gets the wrong idea, I want to be clear on one point. I did not create the original version of this program. All I did was add some updates to it and change the version number to set it apart from the original. For any interested parties here is the sourceforge link to the original project. -
Quote:As I never use Prestige Power Surge I was unaware of this problem. I've fixed it as well as added Ninja and Beast run.Does your re-update fix Prestige Power Surge? (removes the extra space).
I manually repatched mine, but didn't know what else you did besides bindloadfilesilent. I also didn't see Ninja Run, Beast Run, etc.
Quote:For those of us who have never used CityBinder, what *is* it anyway? -
In regards to storage these make little difference but if you're looking to cut the things that might be considered personal client_demos, costumes, Custom_Critter, CustomVillainGroup, logs, Missions, PowerCust, screenshots, and any folders marked with your login name can be safely skipped.
-
There is also a program called CityBinder that assists in the making of binds. If you prefer the easy (to me at least) way you can google it for the original version or download my updated version from this thread.

Bah! The web host was having issues today which prompted me to check all my files. I discovered I had a version with out any of the changes uploaded under the .80 build. This should be fixed now. For the folks who downloaded the broken version, please download it again. It's the same link in the original post with, hopefully, the right files this time. Let me know if it isn't.

At least that's what I'm calling it after the work I've put into it.
Changes:
Silent Binds (I edited this into .76 a while back)
Proliferated Power Sets (up to i22)
Patron Power Pools for "Hero" archetypes
Ancillary Power Pools for "Villain" archetypes
New Power Sets (up to i22)
Fixed Mastermind drop down box not matching up
As well as a couple other things I may have changed along the way and forgotten about. If you find anything obviously broken post it here and I'll try to take a look but I guarantee nothing. heh
WARNING: Older profiles may no longer be valid!
CityBinder(.80) -
Hm, so it is. Try THIS instead. It shouldn't be going anywhere.

So, I finally got around to trying this update and I rather like having the new power set names included. However, while this update added Demon Summoning to the MM primary power drop box, it doesn't actually let you make the binds using Mastermind: Henchman Bindings so I made THIS.
-
Yea, to be clear that's my MM. It's just causing her to draw both her pistols and those swords when I use the temp power. I thought it looked kind of neat is all. ^_^
-
So, I finished up the zone event in Imperial City and decided to pick up the temp power Flashing Steel. After trying it out I get this.
Is it a gun? Is it a blade? No! It's a gunblade!?

My vote went to storyline. For me it's not always the big arcs that hold my attention. Some of the smaller stand alone missions are priceless.
Edit: Oh, and the dialogue. Some of the things the NPCs say crack me up. -
The impact you've had on this community is something to behold. You will be greatly missed.

May fortune follow you wherever you go. -
This is basically just the begining of Haures' story. The writing style I used may seem odd, but I hope you can enjoy it anyway. Any comments or suggestions are welcome.
--Chapter One--
Cloaked figure: It seems we're almost ready for your part of the ceremony.
Young man: (Glances around uncertainly) So this will give me power huh?
Cloaked figure: (Watches the preparations) Hmmm? Oh, yes your body will be invested with great power.
2nd Cloaked figure: The preparations are complete. We may begin with the next step.
Cloaked Figure: Ah excellent timing. Our friend here was getting impatient.
(The Cloaked figure leads the Young man to the alter)
Cloaked figure: Just lay down here and we can begin.
Young man: (nervously) Uh, lay down? Uh, yea sure let's get this over with.
(Various figures approach the alter bringing with them the sound of chanting)
Nos dico super vos Optimates. Beatus nos per vestri atrum lux lucis.
(The Cloaked figure begins fastening straps around the Young man's limbs)
Young man: Hey! Is that really necessary.
Cloaked figure: ...
Young man: Hey I'm talking to you!
(The Cloaked figure raises a dagger above the Young man's heart)
Young man: (hysterical) What the hell are you doing man!
Cloaked figure: Exactly.
(The Cloaked figure plunges the dagger into the Young man's heart)
First fear then pain and finally darkness. These were the last three things I experienced in life. I know I went away but I'm not really sure where. But now I feel a presence surrounding me. It feels evil and hungry. What's that!? Light! Sound! Life!
[Young man: What is this?]
Demon: Why have you summoned me mortal?
Cloaked figure: We require your services.
[Young man: Hey that's the guy that killed me.]
Demon: ...
Cloaked figure: In exchange for these services we guarantee a steady supply of....food.
Demon: If you can provide more like this one then I will agree. At least so long as you do not bore me.
Cloaked figure: I see. Very well. We agree to these terms. (Turns slightly) Bring her!
(Another figure approaches dragging a woman behind him)
Demon: Ahhh a pretty one.
[Young man: Wow she is pretty. Wait, what the hell am I saying!?]
(The woman begins to struggle as the Demon approaches)
Woman: (sobbing) Please no. Don't hurt me. Oh, please someone help me.
Demon: That's right my pretty struggle all you want. Your fear only makes your soul all the sweeter.
[Young man: I've got to help her, but how I'm trapped inside this Demon.]
(The Demon picks the woman off the ground and begins to drain her)
Woman: ..ple...no.do..t.hu.t.me..
[Young man: Inside. That's it! I'm inside the Demon! Then that means...]
(Suddenly the Demon drops the woman and begins writhing about)
Demon: What are you doing mortal!?
Cloaked figure: (Looking terrified) I've done nothing Great One. Please tell me what is wrong.
Demon: Not you fool! The one whos shell I inhabit.
[Young man: Can you hear me Demon?]
{Demon: I can mortal and know that if you do not stop this I will...}
[Young man: You'll what? Kill me? I'm already dead and damned Demon.]
(The pair struggle internally. Bit by bit the Demon regains control)
{Demon: You're losing mortal. Bwahaha!}
[Young man: No. No! No!! NO!!! I WILL NOT LET YOU WIN DEMON!!!!]
(Suddenly a power unlike anything the Demon had ever seen sweeps him into oblivion)
(Meanwhile the body the demon had inhabited glows softly with demon fire that slowly winks out of existence)
Cloaked figure: (hysterically) The Demon is gone! That's not possible!
(The Cloaked figure runs out in terror leaving the two bodies lying on the ground)
(The Young man slowly wakens to a presence hovering over him)
Woman: Are you all right?
Young man: Aside from having had a Demon inside me yea I think I'm all right.
Woman: I'm glad you're all right. I'm not sure what you did but you saved me. Thank You.
Young man: I don't really know what happened except that it seems the Demon is gone and were both alive.
Woman: We should get out of here before the others return.
Young man. Yea you're right.
(As the two head for the exit the young man notices an intense itch focusing on his chest)
(As he scratches he feels some sort of depression in his skin and pulls his shirt out to look)
[Young man: A symbol? Where the hell did this come from?]
{Demon: Exactly.}
Young man: Did you say something?
Woman: I was just saying we should get you to the hospital.
Young man: (distractedly) Hospital yea that sounds good.
