I thought it was a pretty fun Guide. Can't believe I missed it 3 years ago The premise is perfect and in all honesty the tips can be applied to just about any archetype.

Is it a copyright infraction? The intent is clearly the JLA but there are no similar character names or costumes? Is that the difference between a copyright infraction and a homage?

I don't know what to make of this thing. I'm not looking to report it or anything ... so I won't list its name or number ... but I am curious.

Everything is a "bug". Posi should change his avatar to a big ole' can of RAID!!!!!! Either that or a fly swatter.

They are suppossed to have a chance to drop from player kills only (you kill another player and have a chance at a pvp recipe drop). Unfortunately all pvp rewards stopped dropping when issue15 was released. There is no eta on a bug fix yet.

The thing is, permadom is useful. It is no longer essential. Socketing for recharge, endurance reduction, recovery, smashing/lethal defence, or ranged defence, all seem useful avenues to me. My fire/fire is gunning for +HP and some bonus accuracy (because /fire lacks for a good Tohit buffer). Just for an example.

WHo's chain are you trying to jerk by saying permadom isn't necessary? The dom" revamp" made it even more a necessity. Only now its to replenish end rather than add extra damage.

Ok and how many players do you know with access to gravity that take propel anyway? I don't know a single one. Propel is not only a subpar power it is flatout useless.

I am beginning to think the devs plant you people to pick apart a set at a time while pretending to be the "casual" player. W ouldn't surprise me one whit at this point.

I have pulled my bank card off my accounts and went shopping today. One item on my list was a gamecard for my main account. I figured I have been here for 5 years so might as well keep the main account current just to see if any big"wow" hits me in future issues. I found that neither of these stores carry game cards for Cox any longer. In fact? The salesrep at GameStop said,"We don't carry those anymore. Not enough people play that game." I didn't bother trying trying to find a Wally World rep.Anyone know where I can get a 30 day game card?

You can wormhole around the brutes feet and basically disable a whole mob. WHat I am trying to figure out right now is if the players with the wh questions really cant grasp how to use the power or if the power is INDEED different than it has been for 15 issues.

I don't much like it. I think its only because you seem to be trying to force the player into spending way to much time doing things most will pickup on common sense. Like finding new ways to use an attack, or how to pull into a cone damage. Stuff like your improvisation, i just dont think any of it will do you any good, or is anything you havent learned already. Also, why is it dom only? Every AT can play the way you suggested with some minor tweaks. Your guide should of pretty much been; " Play the game the way you want to. I don't know if you are playing the same game as I am. I have been here since January 2004 and my experience says that not many players exhibit this "common sense" of which you speak.

One thing ,Op? Sometimes people in a team setting call a target after assessing team member ability. Sometimes it is easier to call a target on the most dangerous threat in order to get it out of the way and avoid a bunch of scattered confusion on the teams part. I know when I used to run RSF really frequently( like 5-10 times a week) we always called targets if we had new people to the sf on the team. Many players find the multitasking type of gameplay onerous or simply do not comprehend at all how to play in that fashion. I hope I explained that ok and didnt offend anyone.

Thank you again for making the guide!! Hopefully many will read it and get out of the preconceived notion of specific roles rather than play fast, play hard.... DOMINATE... on any at you play !!

In pvp only the intangible when enhanced lasted roughly 8 seconds . Since issue 15 release the period has decreased to 3 seconds and milliseconds change. In addition a player used to be able to attack a dimmed player if the attacking player used a phase power. This is no longer the case. I don't know if the change in the power is an oversite or intentional and simply not included in patch notes.

I haven't been online playing Pve to offer any data on ds since issue 15. Sorry. The above findings were all garnered in arena on test prior to the issues release to live.

Dominator's got a pvp only damage buff back in one issue or another. It was definitely over 2 years ago. I looked for the patch notes regarding the difference in damage in pvp vs pve today and the search doesnt go back that far. Before anyone starts crying"bug" please do remeber the extra damge in pvp was added intentionally. That the dev's forgot they implemented that isnt a "bug".It's an understandable oversite and will be corrected.

Umm no...... the test factors no recharge into the build. The test factors nothing but base stats completely ignoring the potentials of a wellbuilt, well slotted character. Hello?

Once again we are at an impasse of a seasoned dom player vs a new dom player that thinks he//she knows everything under the sun about doms.

One question for you. Have you played a grav//anything dominator to level 50? Not trying to be aggressive but ... I refrain from posting on matters of which I have no experience. Can you say the same?

You people are so far behind the times.... I am glad I have cancelled my subs.

Why, weatherby? Why don't you back up your stance with solid stats rather than your opinion?
