  1. Most of my villains are ambiguously evil, to greater or lesser degrees.

Dame Demolition - she's motivated by money, and by revenge. She needs the former to keep her cybernetic systems in top form, and the latter is what keeps her going when most would have just given up and settled for being invalids. That said, she won't kill 'innocents'... but there are very few she regards as truly innocent.

Daisy Chain - extremely honor-bound, yet as a kunoichi, she is a slave to duty. If that means taking down a squad of Longbow or a patrolman in the wrong place, she'll do so. As a mindwashed former slave, the concept of 'right and wrong' has taken a back seat to obedience.

Baroness Samedi - quasi-religious, motivated by a 'higher calling' than the usual petty concerns over money or power. She does what she does because Papa Legba has dictated it. She doesn't derive pleasure from killing, but "death is necessary".

Betty Highside - thrillseeker. She's in it for the adrenaline rush. Granted, she's gotten a bit harder, and performs jobs that are 'distasteful'... but there's still that thrill of going up against lousy odds and coming back alive.

    New Nike IX Art

That is truly epic in its beauty. Nike IX never looked so regal.
  3. The costume salvage drop rate was abysmally low compared to previous years.

    That is all.
  4. On Vista they'll be buried in a file under My Documents (as Vista fakes the program into putting user-related stuff there instead of the 'communal' game folder).
  5. Not sure if it works that way 'out of the box' but you CAN bind the scroll lock key to do that.

    /bind scrolllock "togglescreenshotui"
  6. Ironik: and this is bad, how?

<< has 27 female characters, and 1 male character... and he's a resurrected Frank Zappa, so he's still cool.
  7. A while back I commissioned Ken Hunt of dvntgrafx to do a comic panel of Soul Train and her nemesis, Runaway Freight.

And it's not looking too good for our heroine.

At some point this will be colored, just not at the moment.

    Being Ripped Off

*is still pissed about a prepaid coloring job that's disappeared into the ether, even tho' the artist is well-regarded on DA*
  9. Yay, indeed.

And I see they're quite happy being held like that too.
  10. Probably a lapse... but I don't think I posted this here. If I did, it's probably buried someplace. At any rate, received the inks in the mail from Brandon, which reminded me I needed to post this for y'all.

    Soul and Tiamat Comic Page

Tiamat is an OC of a DeviantArt 'collector' by the name of Teri-Minx. She and I went halvsies on this commission from Brandon McKinney.

    Hope you enjoy.
  11. Lovely!

And yes... this is what happens when a new artist shows up and says "would anyone like me to draw thei...?"

    MEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEME!!!! *avalanche of screenshots*
  12. I am SO dressing up as LJ, after that.

  13. Heads up - the hardware specs field doesn't like 'returns' or 'line feeds'... so resist the urge to put the specs on seperate lines.
  14. I would venture to say that you'd be using the same ACCOUNT, but a new CLIENT. Also, it may only work with (The|A) test server, at least initially.

Also, I advised a friend and fellow player (who's also a Mac user) about this... he signed up to help beta-test... and he wanted to let it be known that LINE RETURNS in the Hardware field in the form will throw the errors people have been seeing. So, just let the text wrap, no need to throw line breaks/returns into the fields.

*glares at the webdevs for not using a text parser to strip out/convert non-text characters from form input, there should be NO NEED for people to conform to machine syntax on web forms, ever, these days.*
  15. It's.

    About.

    Time.

We've lost waaay too many Mac players to That Other MMO, solely because there exists a Mac client for it but not CoH.
  16. yet another voice against the "click and run" tactics - especially the aggro code. I've given up ToT'ing on my level 42 blaster because of the 50's doing the superspeeder door-to-door dash.
  17. VERY cool! And yes, Sodacan does do great work.
  18. Compiled the collection onto a YouTube video again...

And no, I didn't put any NSFW in here.

    Music is by Jazzanova.
  19. Would that ALL 'quickies' were as yummy as that!

Considering that's the name of my sig.other? what's not to like?
