... at least you received your t-shirt. I got a receipt for payment for the order. I tried wearing it, didn't work at all.
Don't get me wrong, I love Jomaro's work. But as has been said, his business savvy is... well, abysmal. I really think he needs to hire on with an established business (guildhelper, perhaps?) or at the very LEAST hook up with other artists and find out how they manage things business wise. I'm a big fan of Russ Platt and Ebony-Chan and Brandon McKinney, because they CARE about keeping their customers in the loop. If there are problems, they tell you. They send you roughs, pencils, inks, and ask if you'd like changes. Then they deliver.
If Jomaro and Nakeisha were to seriously adopt their business models and STICK TO THEM, MMOART would be a rockin' business. But right now... no. -
Gotta love the curious Clockwork... they're annoying... but also almost childish, in some ways.
-
Yep. Me too.
*stands in the Old People corner with M_B* -
God help us if the Devs open up the Mayhem maps.

I spy a CAKE!!!
and it couldn't be given to a more talented and sweeter person. Huzzah! -
Yes, yours definitely is "good".
Actually "good is a freakin' understatement, yours is awesome.
And... *GLOMPAGE* HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! -
Love stories should be the rose briar woven around and through the framework of the overall story.
They're a plot element. They're a means of tension and resolution as events pull the two characters together, then split them apart or introduce conflicts, and then they gravitate towards each other under their own power (often uphill, in the snow). Or perhaps the relationship is COUNTER to the goals of the characters... so that the love story is a 'bad thing' and people then have to choose between rooting for the affair, or rooting for success of the characters.
perhaps one of the two is a 'heel' - the bad guy (or girl) that has the potential to derail all the protagonist's plans. Perhaps the protagonist has to struggle to get free of them, all the while NOT wanting to. For example, Odysseus and Calypso... he loved being in her company, but... his wife and his lands called out to him and he had to let her go.
Such are things that make GOOD love stories. -
Garret's been doing a LOT of Savage Land heroines.
Tempted to have him do a Savage Land version of some of mine. -
Yah really. I'm all for nekkid foo'ishness.
*points to Annular Eclipse mag-cover he did, which is teh awesome* -
Wow.
OK.
Widow's Chain is SO getting hers tonight. -
Having gone through my own ordeal with Jomaro and MMOART, I'm sympathetic, but, I doubt you'll get the results you want by continuing to post about the problem here.
I would suggest contacting Jomaro again directly, and then pursue it as one would any paid-for service that you feel is substandard. -

The affluence just beads up and rolls right off.

I'm sure you meant 'effluent'. "Affluence" is wealth. -
I love it. Really I do. That's flippin' awesome.

Yah I just had to go in and fix mine.
... and wait for the updater to reverify files no less than SIX times.
... is it me, or do 'patches' break more than they fix, lately? -
Can't find the arc. check to make sure the arc number didn't change?
-
Send Ex a note, she'll read it and sticky it.
And hopefully put the missing 'e' in the word "Advertisement"... *huggles Cien* -
I have to do the same thing with Poser, else several hours of posing, cloth draping, light setup, camera setup, etc goes out the window when it (inevitably) crashes or locks up when I'm trying to render.
Anyone have an afro prop that isn't a mass of individual hair strands? Calculating the shadow map for that thing is driving my computer into a state of catatonia! -

wherein a forumite charges you with removing an obstacle of his free expression, and you discover it's not that simple.
Arc: 18028
Name: Soul Train Origins
yeah, OK, so I got self-indulgent. Rampant Mary-Sue Syndrome, the whole nine yards. Still... I think it's actually a good little story. -
Well we also can't really 'script' the encounters exactly, such as a boss with a hostage, or locked doors, or ... well you get the idea.
I AM glad this got pushed back to its own issue. For lo, it is awesome.
But I'd also reiterate, squish the bugs!! please!! before this goes Live. -
WOW.
OK that's a really sweet arc. There's tension, there's a cute heroine, there's nasty bad guys in it... and of course, a handsome financier who... might be somebody's love interest.
Only faults I saw were spelling, mostly in the dialogue, interaction text on objects, and the clues. Also, the way you constructed your "x Objects to Interact" counts were a bit off. Remember that when you have several, it puts the number at the beginning, so saying "verb the nouns" it comes out wrong. Instead it should be "nouns to verb" which will look right when you put a number at the beginning, so: "X nouns to verb".
Other than that... EXCELLENT. I'd give it four stars if it were on Live... because it's test... you get Five.
(and there's a rhyme! Whee!)
