  1. You get some for doing rescues, killing a boss, etc. through normal play. You get some for using the mission designer and testing your mission.

    Nothing that you wouldn't get normally playing the stories and making your own. There's no "kill x number" badges for anything.

    You don't get badge counts from AE missions, either.
  2. Now, explain to me why the enemy will not buff their own teammates, and I'll believe that this is WAI, instead of just poor A.I. being written off as a "fix" by the devs.
  3. Still no A.I. corrections toward buggy draw-power sticky usage. Drawn weapons cause the A.I. to get stuck on using one attack for the longest time, even when others are charged.
  4. A few off the top of my head:

    Headman Gunmen for the Lost have their Rikti Rifle power. The odd thing is that the gun will hum, but the blast itself makes no noise. Happens in Port Oakes all the time.

    During ambushes in Arachnos Bases, the ambushers will sometimes get stuck and start sliding on the floor forward and backwards, almost like the powerslide animation. Happens with the ambush in Marshall Brass' second introductory mission involving the Gold Brickers, where you deliver the pack to that scientist.

    Currently, Spectral Knights for CoT don't fade away when they die. They will go into their "death" pose, then become completely solid without transparency or dark "fuzz", then float mid-air rigid and dead, until the "body fadeout" occurs.

    During Rikti zone events, when the Rikti teleport in, sometimes they will just appear in masse without the teleport sequence, become targetable, then fade back out, until they reappear moments later using the correct teleport sequence.

    There's more, but I don't recall.
  5. Any mob in AE that isn't a basic, in-game mob with no buffing features is currently buggy on power usage.

    They still haven't fixed the "Oh no! I've been debuffed! Time to run away in terror, even if I'm an Archvillain!" issue, either.
  6. I can confirm a custom critter AI bug regarding power usage. It's widespread. Critters will get locked in a cycle of waiting for one power to refresh and use only it. This seems to happen with any attacks that recycle quickly, most notably something like Parry, but I've also got one lieutenant that will do nothing but use Jawbreaker, even when he has two other attacks to hit with.

    I've also noticed a recurring bug where critters will not properly activate their secondaries, when this should always be active for them.

    I have a mission published that this occurs in, if any dev would like to test my observations.

  8. Thorn Tree is easy once you realize you need to sit out fighting it until the reinforcements stop coming.

    Pretty much all there is to it.
  9. Not bad. Did you have any problems with the main root?

    I ask because I had problems keeping it from aggroing on me. Being a Mastermind, you wouldn't think you'd attract main aggro over your pets, but it happened all through the respec.

  11. Why bother? The Nerf Bat temp power makes every enemy do 1 damage and have no def/res.

    Because no challenge = tons of reward.

    I like the changes to Slash and Swipe, but Strike still looks fugly to me. Barrage's animation was a bad choice.

    I couldn't get to level 45 in the time allotted, so obviously there's no need for further debate on my part.
  14. This isn't really fair to people who don't obsessively level to the detriment of all other things.

    Like food. And friends. And sex.

    EDIT:

    And I mean it being 45+, not that it would be fair to those already 40. If they want to see a race from 40 to 45, then fine. But what about the people who tried all the ATs in CoV, and never bothered to grind up to 40? My highest in CoV, for example, is 34.

  17. I'm afraid I'll have to drop the Sitting power, as I can no longer six-slot it for Endurance Recovery. It doesn't provide enough under the new system to justify having it.

    I'm thinking Lounging might have to go next.

    Test is for discovering bugs, not for discovering if a system works.

    It will go live from test with no changes to the core system.

    Just like I3, I4, I5, and numerous other inbetween changes did.

    That's because everyone else got slapped with a little bit of cosmic justice in I5, too. Once they get over their little boo-boos, they'll be back to state that Regen can single-handedly solo the Hamidon while eating a Taco Bell burrito at the same time.

    All without dying, or contracting flesh-eating bacteria.

    Watch Equillibrium, and read up about effective-accurate ranges of standard pistols. Unlike what you see in Follywood, people do not normally fire handguns from over 30 yards and expect to hit people.

    Funny, they haven't nerfed Spines scrappers, yet. They have a bunch of nice ranged stuff. Search for the Gun-fu scrapper threads before you go further. Much interesting discussion in them.

    All blaster powers have better recharge and a longer range, in addition to AoE's. Only Focus and Impale surpass them for single target, and that's just because Focus rocks your mom while Impale is raiding your fridge.

    Notice they're both short ranged, though, and only one of them appears in the set. NOT A BLASTER.

    Spine scrappers are not blasters.

    When I first heard of the concept on the beta board, I suggested instead that the power work off of the current debt that the Blaster has, instead of their current health.

    My name for it was the Debt Cannon.

    As a sarcastic aside, I stated that, unfortunately, it would make all Blasters overpowered.
