    All defenses are capped without weave
    87.5% global rech
    both Super Speed and Super Jump

    Once I pick up the PvP +def IO the new build will get additional +rech to get over 101% global recharge and another 20% slow/-recharge resistance

    It would help with the mentoring parts a lot IMO
  4. That is pretty good regen

    I would not pass Hightened senses though. Stacked +perc is very nice and if your attacker gets hit with some -tohit your +defense is that much better. You can put a LoTG +rech in it too


    Make sure you get tough for global resist in PvP too

    RttC is not a melee power; it is the main form of damage mitigation for WP. Without it, you have a smattering of resists and defenses, and some +HP. Yes, it is much better when used in melee range, but it's a respectable power against ranged attacks, provided it doesn't drop, that is.

    What power are yo utalking about cause as Mac said and as I know RTTC does nto do what you described.

    It is a melee aura that grants regen for mobs in range as well as provides a -tohit to the enemy while in range. Without a mob in melee range, its does nothing

    One of my 4 end mods is the chance for +end so when that extra goes off it gets me 3/4 a bar. Even still heal slotting, as we both agree, is last priority.

    And it is going to do what when fighting a hard mob by itself like and EB/AV/Hero Give you 1/3 a bar of end but all that slotting for heal gave you an extra 20 points of heal. Which would you rather? Adding 20 points of extra heal to take it from about 60 to about 80 or getting 3/4 a bar of end from 1 target?

    The heal is ED is crap. Slot for end recovery. When slotting for end recovery it also causes more endurance drain. 2 EDs slotted for endruance mod has bottomed out most mobs I have fought with my SS/EA. Slotting for a mix of end mod and heal is best but the heal is not what the power is for, the endurance recovery is.


    You dont hear people saying to slot Consume/Dark Consumption for damage just because it "fills your bar off of 3 mobs anyway". Its isnt enough damage to make a difference just like the heal in ED is just a little side benefit.

    Pick the Energy Elemental Shield and set it to a very transparent color. You can barely even see the shield at that point

    As long the target doesn't break line of sight

    Imagine AS as a Blaster's snipe. It has an interruptable phase then it only matters if you have a clear shot. Also if your stalker is getting hit and it is causing him to not be able to pull of an AS it sounds like he is not a defense based secondary and does not have Hide slotted for defense.

    Hide slotte dout for defense will give mobs a 5% chance tohit him with AoE splash damage. The only thing that should interfear at that point would be some debuffs that are auto hit.

    Lets also nto forget AS is not the only thing a Stalker can do for a team. With the damage changes a while back Stalkers hit very hard when not hidden. The AS is just the heaviest attacks of the ones they are given but limiting Stalker play to only BU+AS+Placate+[insert attack here] is not only limiting the Stalkers damage outout but his contribution to the team.

    I remember when CoV first started people seemed to have the mindset that Stalkser were there to hit and run. Before the damage increase some sets did not function to well outside of hide when it came to damage. This is not the case anymore.

    They actually have 2 you can slot that offer 3% each

    Once will cost between 12-20 mil and the other will run ya about 400 mil

    You can slot it into any 1 of your 3 damage resistance powers for 3% additional def to all damage types

    All well and good and I agree, but he already said he isn't feeling therm. And pain dom is pretty fricking underrated. I know its debuff is a joke but man are they hard to take down if the person playing them has any clue whatsoever what they are doing. The therm will get more kills, the pain dom will die less.

    I took down a Sonic/Cold Corruptor 9-0 in a arena match without touching any insp but a few reds and 1 yellow while playing my Sonic/Pain


    I even use my Sonic/Pain as my villain side PvP Io farmer because with 45% perma damage bonus and some sonic Blast it usually only takes a single attack chain of Aim+Screech+Shriek+Scream+Shout+Shark to finish off the Troller I use when it isnt running its armor. I dont even use the debuff in PvP unless the chance for KD in Screech fires off allowing me to hop in and use it.

    My Sonic/Therm however doent have the extra damage boost to hit upfront like that BUT the -resistance debuff is easier to use and HE rocks

    As far as who lives longer I have t give it to the Pain. With just health and the passive heal aura turned regen in PvP it nets 25hp sec or more. So during a normal Aim attack cycle I got back 250 hp or about a small greens worth. In a 30 second phase cycle thats 750 hp or about of 60-65% of my health bar not counting actually using my heals or Hibernate

    The heal is so small maxxed slotting doesnt help. Keep ED for end consumption AND Heal but heal is the last thing you wan tto go for when slotting ED. The advice above wants you to drop an endurance recovery tool totally and slot your other endurance recovery power for heal. That is not good advice IMO.

    This is not my experience at all. You dont really need RTTC unless you are fighting in melee since it only works in melee. with around 2500 HP and over 45 hp a second regen I can take a beating before I even need to worry about using insp, SoW or Demonic Aura(which EVERY PvP toon should have)

    I hopped into RV and happended to catch some Scrappers, a Troller and Blaster under the statue doing some lolfiteclub and took down Regen after Regen then made my way through the Controller and Blaster.

    Even did a few duels with a Psi/Dev Blaster on top of the train(sup Helm) and came away with 2 wins 1 loss


    I seem to notice that unless the type of AT people ask about are at the top of the list when it comes to PvP, you hear mostly 'dont do it' or 'it sucks'. PvP is [censored] easy mode these days. If you knew how to PvP well before Issue 13 and stuck around you can tear anyone who didnt a new one.

    I'm not claiming to be some UberleetPvPsuperstar but I know how this game works and since everything is so damn predictable these days I have no problems using middle road PvP class ATs to get kills. I have a few that lost all hope with the defense nerf and I can only hope they get fixed sometime.

    I wanna say an 8 second window so you can heal and wait 8 seconds then heal again for full effectiveness


    RD is a permanent effect in a arena or PvP zone. It doesnt go away. ALL your heals, debuffs, damage, hitpoints, run speed, jump speed and height, tohit, accuracy, enhancements, defenses(very bad atm), buffs, reisistance shields, mez effects, etc are modified by DR
