All you Wentworth's and Black Market needs, questions and discussion.

    Look at badge collectors

    [/ QUOTE ]

... the people who sit on heal farms, damage farms, run tons of Ouroboros arcs, sell base salvage... etc. aren't the ones you are talking about right?
  3. I vehemently do NOT support the slotting this guide suggests. Especially the low level slotting. All of the end reductions in toggles SHOULD be in the attacks.
  4. I still don't get people's "need" for X or Y for this Task Force. I've done it with 1 Brute, 2 Veats 2 Blasters and I've done it with 3 Defenders, 1 Controller and 1 Blaster. I can't imagine any team of 6 competent players that couldn't do it.
  5. One of them people find easy to do if 4 players get struck by lightning and cannot continue. The other people do not find easy if 4 players mysteriously leave. Thus, many do the difficult one first
  6. Killing everything is fun. I like fun.
  7. The Cheaty-Face run is exactly opposite of a PuG. If you ever wondered how fast the most ridiculously stacked team could do to the Imperious Task Force now you've got a good idea. I think a team could break 25 minutes.

That was 8 players with a LOT of stacked buffs who knew exactly what the objectives were on each mission and only did those objectives. In fact on the first two missions we split into smaller squads of four. Granted, we skipped a lot of content and a lot of fun battles. However the purpose of the run was for a "Race."
  8. All those baddies worth piles of experience that are fun to fight... yeah we just walked by them.

    The Video

A ridiculously stacked team could clear all the maps in probably 50 minutes. A ridiculously stacked team could walk by 9/10 of the enemies/content and complete it in slightly over 25 minutes... as shown in the video.
  9. There wasn't one. We wanted to do it with 8 people and we only had 6 show up. So we ran it with fillers. One person is usually on contact duty anyway.
  10. I believe there were 6 people high in level on the team... maybe 3-5 were 50 and the other 1-3 were 30+. We also had 2 fillers and one of them just sat at the contact. The other picked his nose.

Superspeed is REALLY important. If you don't have it, you can't keep up.

Cheating is key: We used veteran Recall team twice

    [/ QUOTE ]

We used the Vet recall to get to missions 2 and 4. You can watch the video too.
  12. Who are you referring to about the TP power? We only used TP outside of missions... I don't understand what you are talking about.
  13. [ QUOTE ]
well i can safely say that this proves that you could have excellent teams without the need of a full on healer.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I thought that was proven 4 years ago.

Took out Romulus and the TF in 2:15 Faith in PuGs semi-restored.
  15. Naturally, I got some of my SG buddies and we had roughly the same team. Half lowbies half 50s, 1 tank, 1 scrapper, kin and rad, lots, blasters. We did it on Relentless/Invincible in an hour and a half
  16. Unbelievable. I joined a PuG with my 47 FIre/Rad cor and actually failed. The level of stupidity was astounding.

Our /Kin troller never SB'd anyone. I never asked for it. On the last mission he SBd Imperious and no one else. I asked him. He said "Imperious asked for it and no one else did." Well then... "may I have speed boost all the time please."

We had two blasters who could not focus fire on romulus.
The concept of "Shoot Romulus" Escaped the team.
The concept of "If you are a squishy don't stand in the AoE Nictus damage" escaped the team.
The concept of "Pull" escaped the team.
A 41 Dominator insisted we had to kill the Nictus first.

It was terrible. I stand by my claim that any competent team can accomplish this.
  17. [ QUOTE ]

I am looking for a way to pull it off with any team, ignoring max/min and ignoring players experience.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Shoot Romulus
  18. Do you consider the Imperious Task Force as harder or easier than...

    1) The Statesman TF
    2) The Recluse SF
    3) The Lady Grey TF

I consider it easier than 1 and 2 and on par with 3. Is it a problem that it matches up with difficulty like that? Is my rating far from the general consenus?
  19. So all you had to do was shoot Romulus and not stand next to any of them. Keep moving, keep shooting. Victory!
  20. [ QUOTE ]
. I dont like TF's that favor certain AT's more than others for most of the team slots but when you do this TF you should have at least 1 healer and a kin or kin/healer, Debuffer and or buffer. 1 meatshield and one Dominator.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I disagree. Any random assortment of fairly competent players can easily accomplish this Task Force. No tank, healer, nor dominator required. Don't even need to be "competent." Merely "close to competent" is enough.
  21. [ QUOTE ]
Nictus Essence(Left): The 'healer' essence, this spams a multitarget version of Twilight Grasp and MUST be your first target if you want to beat this encounter in any reasonable amount of time.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I disagree with your use of "Must."

In fact, I suggest killing Romulus 4 times and running out of Line of Sight when he rezzes.
  22. Since you are using so many Purple IOs is there any reason you aren't using a Purple Hold Set, Unbreakable, in Power Surge?
  23. Gimp is a relative term. That's the idea. By placing Hecatomb in a long recharging power (like KO Blow) as opposed to a fast recharge power (like punch) you are reducing the likelihood of the Chance for Damage occurring. Thus not functioning as optimally as possible. Thus being relatively weak. Thus being gimp.
