    PvP Recipes

And dont forget about how small the current pvp population is. We have to supply the market with these new IO's. To make them extremely rare will ensure the prices for them will be through the roof.

So far not 1 recipe and my kill count is well over 100.

    PvP Recipes

Just talked to a friend that got 2 so far out of around 50 kills. Going to give it another shot tonight and see what I come up with.

    PvP Recipes

I PvP'd for a couple hours last night and racked up quite a few kills but so far no PvP recipes. Anyone have better luck then me?
  4. PvP isnt dead because of PvPers. In fact PvP isnt dead at all. You could argue its dieing and I would agree, but it has little to nothing to do with "PvPers" and more to do with the new changes to PvP driving the old schoolers out.

    Think about it.

There are 2 kinds of people. People that loose and take it as a challenge to better themselves, and people that cant take loosing and rather then try to improve they cry complain and blame others for their shortcomings.

For the first type getting better and one day kicking the crap out of the people that once kicked the crap out of them is what keeps them PvPing. Its a reward in itself. For the other person, they dont give it a chance so rather then try to improve they give up and stick to PvE because PvP just isnt worth it for them. The only thing that would make it worth while is PvP rewards, something that is non existent (nukes and shivs dont count).

If I were to blame anyone for the lack of interest in CoX PvP I would blame the devs for not giving PvErs any real reason to PvP up until now. If they want people that have no interest in PvP to give it a shot, they have to tempt them with something (like the new IOs for example).

This "trash talking killed PvP" myth is stupid. If its really that big of a issue you can turn off enemy chat or ignore the people that annoy you. Ive been doing it for over a year now.
  5. I dont think it was OP'd enough.

    Sync Issues?

I've never had the sync problem before but now it seems to be a common occurrence. The first time it happened I thought it was just bad lag, but after about a minute or so I remembered the sync command and it stopped the rubberbanding. Its been happening quite frequently recently and as I stated before it has never happened to me in the past. I think it has something to do with one of the recent patches because before this problem didnt exist for me.

    Go back to WoW n00b!

    Best Trash Talk

anyone that rolls a stalker is a n00b!!!!
  10. What about burn?

Nothing like having a /fire scrapper lay down a burn patch right when the tanks gets a nice tight mob around him. Even worse when the tank does it himself.

    Burn

Cons: Sends baddies running all over the damn place
Pros: Great power when a troller has a mob pinned down
  11. When I pvp I kind of go into a pvp coma. I dont even pay attention to chat. There have been times that people trash talk directly to me (usually because I pwn their face) and I honestly dont even notice until the pvp frenzy is over and I see it almost scrolled out of my chat window above 10 lines of other random zone chat. I pay no attention to it and resume my pvp coma.

But seriously, we'll never get rid of the zone trash talking. If people dont pvp because of that it makes me wonder if they know about the /ignore command.
  12. Well, castle brought up the -repel because of the TK bug so Im sure it has something to do with it. That and its a major exploit that a lot of minds take advantage of.
  13. [ QUOTE ]
Thanks for the update, Castle, though I imagine many people won't like the change to TK. Is this to address the rag-doll lock problem? If it's not that, would you consider reinstating the repel against players, but change it so less break frees are needed to escape it?

Not Putzing is going to be mad all her work is getting some attention just a few days after she's left the game... or is this just to get her back?

    [/ QUOTE ]

The problem is that when you get stuck in the "ragdoll animation" you cant use break frees so it will still be exploited. The "less break free" suggestion isnt a fix for that issue.
  14. Yeah, I even state that the WoW/GW versions are better on the youtube description. Problem was getting my friends over to test and me and my lack of patience lol.

But thanks for the compliment and advice
  15. Hehe, dont let the title fool you. No bewbies and/or other naked parts of the human body. Strictly for LOL's.

CoH - The Internet is for Porn

Made this vid a few months back. Think it came out pretty good myself. What do you think?
  16. Saw a few of the builds and wasnt happy with the overall end management so I set up this one. Has a nice end recovery rate and is set up so you can save some inf on expensive IO's like lotg recharges and still get a 33% recharge rate.

  17. There is a easy way to fit throw spines into your build without loosing any powers at all, drop acrobatics for kb IOs.

And as a added bonus, youll loose the end usage of acro.
  18. Hmmm, not a big fan of the blade look.

But Im sure the Jack Sparrow wannabe's will be pleased.
