You could try using a program called Hero Stats, in that you you can toggle what you want to see or not, and it also comes with timers.

Quote:All other badges have it pretty much written in stone the requirement in which to attain said badge.Which is my point: the argument works with all the badges or none of them. If you don't want me to blame you for not being able to acquire that one badge, then I would expect contrawise for you not to blame other people for being unable to get badges you could get.
There are people who believe its perfectly fine to dismiss any concern about anything acquirable in this game on the presumption that the fact they have it means there's no problem by definition. I have nothing but contempt for that attitude, and I have no problem using Bug Hunter or anything else to express my contempt for that attitude.
I personally don't feel any sense of superiority for possessing Bug Hunter: I've been on both sides of having and not having Bug Hunter, and I've defended that badge throughout that entire time as being interesting, but not proof of anything in particular from a gaming perspective. However, to the extent that someone believes their in-game accomplishments give them the right to judge other people's, I don't feel particularly bad about denigrating theirs relative to mine. Turnabout is fair play.
Bughunter does not, even sites such as wiki and Badgehunters have a hard time finding a requirement for this badge other than devs discretion. No badge should be awarded in such a way, it leads to distrust, if this badge was for all to gain, put the requirements out there for all to see, not just hand it out willy-nilly and expect people to recognise it as a legitimate badge to get. -
As I am in no position to prove otherwise, I leave it at that, but you can't blame a person who has constantly over the 7 years reported bugs and so forth to no avail, It would be interesting to know exactly what the requirements are, would save me the time I have already wasted in the past and possibly in the future. Otherwise what else is a person suppose to think?

Quote:Please don't use Bug Hunter in any shape or form to to acknowledge your badger status, that badge is a load of croc, the amount of bugs that over the years I have pushed through to the devs on Open Beta's is uncountable, as I never used to be invited to Closed Beta's it pretty much wrote me off.
By the way, if you've gotten the same badges I have twice, does that include Bug Hunter?
That's a Devs favourite badge in my eye's and quite a few others and believe me when I say I'm never going to be a Dev favourite no matter what badge they are awarding for it.
Being European i'd be lucky to get my Global name back or get compensated like we were promised for losing them, I think my chances of getting Bug Hunter are ......... well i'll let you work out the math. -
My Dark/FA Brute has been my main since CoV started, it's my main badger sitting just below 1300 and has every single MO, the only time he has been in AE was to get the badges and hasn't been in there ever since, I've had no complaints with the way he functions and am often invited regularly from all over the place, So yep I would say it was good for something else.

Quote:Yeah I get that, but If I'm Galactus and all I got to do is keep standing on The Punisher head to win, that gets boring real quick, now If I'm Galactus and they send Eternity or a Celestial after me that makes it a bit more of challenge, so far I have yet to experience that.Yeah, that's kind of the point. You ARE overpowered against the normal content because you're far more powerful now. It's the same reason you stop getting missions against the Hellions when you hit level 20.
Mind you I can't wait for the day that my spaghetti western dual pistol alt goes up against a god and he can go toe to toe with him due to the incarnate powers.
Them six bullets in my gun seem to go a long way now
I still feel they should have devised a way to seperate the paths of end game content, to those that sought extra power, to those that were normal mortals that agenda was to bring down that AV they were after since lvl1. -
I couldn't begin to guess what they could be, but I hope they are not to OP already most of my 50's very rarely do normal content anymore as it has become boring unless tf's and such are set to +4 lvl, and it is also getting to the point that they are OP even for the incarnate trials.
I can see myself getting very bored with all the recent trials very quickly if these new slots contain any sort of I win button and basically make all my 50's that I have taken a long time creating made redundant due to boredom.
I have never made so many new alts all at once in an effort to keep me stimulated it has also become more of a challenge to lvl lowbies now as quite a few are drawn to the end game content, making it harder to get teams together for lower lvl content. I can't blame people for the constant trials as I also would be drawn to them if I wasn't finding the trials boring and easy, the only real challenge in them is getting the badges, now I have the badges I can't find any reason to keep running them constantly. -
Remind me not to be to close to you when using Secondary Mutation, don't think I should take the risk of turning monkey.

Why Movies suck today?
In my view it's all to do with censorship, if I were to put it into computer terms and base it on my old ZX Spectrum games, Jet set willy and Leisure Suit Larry would have a 18 cert nowadays with my old tape deck to play them having a parental control button.
Censorship ruins a lot of films as directors have to cater to masses to recoup the monies required for top actors/actresses, CGI etc.
I would go as far to say that when people have a DVD collection most of their coverted movies are from a time when censorship was a null, mainly early 80's.
Even Horror movies of today, try to bring their certificate rating down to a 15 in order to have a wider scope of recoup.
So if director's were allowed to make movies for love instead of trying to soak up the Box office I think we would get a better class of film, and we would be able to work out a genre of a film without thinking was Terminator Salvation a Horror/Action/Romance or Sci-fi movie or all 4.
All 4 dosen't work for me I like 1 genre to a film, 2 at most. -
So I won't actually receive a badge now unless I spend the Merit?
Damn they need to give me something worthwhile to spend them on then. -
Have the Veteran badges that were awarded every 3 months been put a stop to?
Not been awarded a single badge since the start of Freedom, just wondered if they were a thing of the past, and now we are only getting badges on every year? -
Hope they were the worst bit's from the film and they are leaving the good stuff as a surprise, otherwise I can see myself being very disapointed and bordering on falling asleep at the cinema. Been looking forward to this film for a very very long time since first reading it over 35 years ago. The Peter Jackson trilogy didn't really live up to my expectations and I found myself comforting my animated version in a hope to rekindle my youth and restore my love for J.R.R Tolkien. Sometimes beloved childhood stories from the past need to be left there.
I don't think director's of today can properly recreate the book, due to their hands being tied, when the animation was brought out years ago directors had more freedom and didn't have to water it down, to this day the animation movie came across more frightning than the Peter Jackson trilogy which was how I remember the books. But with all the certifications today to get most people through the box office things need to be catered for, which can destroy a film for me. Normally I let these sort of movie's slide but when it's about a book that was one of the first I read as a child, then for some reason I tend to take it a little more personally, I don't know why but I just do. -

A bit off topic, but can I use this system as a means to get my PvP Rep badges, I hate PvP and my server doesn't really do it, so would this system be a nice way around it?

News just in, Paragon city heroes were doing their best to make Waterpolo a viable event for the 2012 Olympics.
Unfortunately after 2 deaths and a Granite tank rooted to the bottom of the pool this did little to help their cause. -
Statesman Dies, Some great hero he was, click the damn 'Go to hospital' button NOOB.

A better word would have been 'unaging'.
But the literal meaning of immortal has been.... decimated!

Quote:Sometimes I don't think leadership is lacking, more the people who are willing to listein and follow instructions by the leaders are. There's another topic that just went up in this forum regarding Incarnate Trial leadership, and how it is lacking. Check it out and weigh in, because I think this is the crux of it.
How quickly we all have forgotten: there was a time when few of us knew how BAF and Lambda worked. The only way we learned was by giving it a shot under the leadership of someone who had run it before (or had at least read the guide) and was willing to explain how to handle each stage. Over time, the rest of us got the hang of it, and now the majority of the player base knows BAF and Lambda tactics in their sleep, and can very much just auto-pilot themselves through.
Unfortunately, Keyes's first incarnation was entirely dreadful, and the Underground was slightly less dreadful but much longer than most wanted. So people stopped running them, stopped learning them. Now, they have fixed Keyes to where it is as easy to auto-pilot through, and as I understand, are still considering ways to make the Underground more desirable.
On top of that, they have released TPN and MoM, both of which are short, and remarkably doable provided a leader is willing to take 5 minutes at the beginning and give a rundown of how things will work, in addtion to giving on-the-go reminders throughout the trial. By doing so, the leader is teaching the mechanics of the trial to new people, while also increasing their confidence and morale thus making it less likely that they will get frustrated, nervous, and do something they aren't supposed to do.
If all else fails, and in all seriousness, read the online trial guides. While some of them are (annoyingly) a tad out of date in terms of numbers, the stages and instructions on what to do are practically the same. You can go into the trial feeling confidant about what you are going to do, and might even be able to lead one and impart that knowledge to others.
I am in a very very fortunate position that I have as a Global Friend a very accomplished leader, we acquired both MOTPN and MOMOM within 2 days of it going live, now in that time she has a few rules which she abides by, one is at least half the league will be from her channel and trusted friends that she can rely with the other half consisting of PUG's, her other rule is to bring the best toon you got 50+3 unless you got a good reason not bring it.
Now the torrent of abuse (including death threats) she recieved from certain parties over this made me wonder why she would bother running them at all (heaven forbid she ever stops), so If this was the way she was treated for running her attempts this way, why would anyone want to run a league, so if anything it's because of the player base that there are a lack of leaders, people need to respect the person that is putting a league together, they don't have to run them. -
Think the biggest problem for Devs has always been when it comes to solo paths for incarnates is how to set the difficulty, the Trapdoor Arc was a prime example.
Where some AT's breezed through the arc, others unfortunately become stuck and irritated by it, and thus the devs came under fire immediately by those that struggled.
I think as a solo path they should make it as difficult as a team based trial, but incorperate NPC's to plug in the hole's depending on what AT you use. A selection process at the beginning of a trial to select members of the Freedom or vindicator groups or even unknown villians or heroes to join you in the solo trial would be fun and fill out the gaps your AT was not meant to fill.
Last mission on the Silos Arc is a good example, I love to go free certain NPC's to give me the boost I need against the Jade Spider, free-ing NPC's on the way through a solo incarnate arc would be a nice way to feel on a level par with the Freedom Phlanx etc. on your way to god-hood.
Would like a solo arc to be going into the Preatoria version of The Zig and freeing captured Heroes/villians, the more powerful the Hero/villian the better the security you will come up against, with various AV's called in to stop you on some sort of timer or activated by an alarm system.
