That's actually a good point. Thanks for bringing it up.

Sansa was the one she was questing for, wasn't she?

That's possible. But going "Sansa!" didn't seem to help much up to that point. Would have liked to see the scene before she appeared elsewhere.

Anyway. No, Jon isn't dead 'till the book states so specifically. Though getting stabbed repeatedly by his own men isn't a really good start to a long and healthy life. I'm curious how he can possibly get out of that one.

But for the final-chapter cliff-hangers, my absolute favourite was the murder of Kevan Lannister. I loved how Varys reveals they want Cersei back in power because she's so terrible at her job. In your face Cersei!
  5. No one dies in a cliff-hanger

Heck, even Brienne just spontaneously shows up. Would have liked just a little insight into how she got out of that situation.

I liked the part where Bruce Willis turns out to be Luke's father.

I googled it. [Keanu]Woha[/Keanu], I had no idea it was that big of a 'thing'. I just like the idea because Rhaegar is a very interesting and mysterious character that would be a shame to only have as a background character. He needs to be more important than "Had destiny. Got in the way of Robert's Hammer. The End." Though, I suppose, GRRM has any number of characters like that.

I guess it could be possible. I vaguely recall that there was something off about the timing of the whole thing, that made me conclude that it was highly unlikely. But I can't remember what it was. Been a while since I had the whole timeline memorized.

It's been definitively answered in the books, several times. Unfortunately, none of those answers are compatible, so we still don't know the truth of it. My pet theory is that Jon is really the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen, but that's highly unlikely.

If your writers are bonkers, you're not safe anywhere.
  11. With the current changes to the Freedom Phalanx, I think my dream scenario would go something like this:

Penny takes Malaise's spot in the Vindicators (and takes a hero name)
Mirror Spirit joins the Freedom Phalanx, replacing Sister Psyche.
Ms. Liberty could join the Freedom Phalanx, but I think I'd rather keep her as leader of the Vindicators.
Have a story revolving around Hero 1's cleansing and redemption and have him take over Statesman's spot on the Freedom Phalanx.
Have Positron stay the heck away from leadership of the FP. He's the guy who builds stuff in the basement, he is not the inspiring leader type.

I'm the only one in Praetoria on Virtue, more likely than not. At least during my prime time. It probably get better at night. That said, Praetoria isn't terrible team friendly anyway, with those solo-only missions, so it doesn't hurt that much.

Just too bad all those public quests go unused.
  13. Heeeey! Welcome back!

I'm sure someone else will be along shortly to fill you in on everything new.

Also, check out Nethergoat's Returning Player Diary, which might have a lot of the info you are looking for, as well as some thoughts on the free-player experience.

I think it probably helps a lot when the author is a professional screenwriter.
  16. Mine is very traditional.

Only exception to this, is that I also usually monitor: last hit chance, ranged/melee defence and damage bonus.

And yes, my inspiration tray has to be nice and tidy

I just took a new praetorian all the way through the loyalist responsibility story arc over the weekend. I still think the stories in Praetoria are superior to the 1-20 experience anywhere else. And I guess they nerfed the difficult mobs, but kept the increased xp, because I was having a breeze. Now I'm cruising through First Ward, still a loyalist. Hurray!

I just wish there was a way you could unlock your second costume slot.

Redside is mostly Arachnos, Cor and longbow between 20-35

    Hm..... imagine that..
I remember enjoying fighting CoT red-side MUCH more than blueside, because those spectral demons and their ridiculous -ToHit were almost unheard of, redside. We got those easy-peasy Nerva Spectral Demons instead.

But lately, it seems that every red-side CoT mission is 75% spectral demons... so now it sucks as much as blue-side ever did. Can we get the migraine-inducing blue caves too? Might as well go all in!
