Elec primary is in question though and i know for a fact that zap is a better power than VS which is why i respec'd it out a long time ago.
As you just stated it gives you the edge against characters who cant heal themselves but im sure the regen set has at least 2 self heals?? Contradicting yourself???

And what is gloating about your pvp kills got to do with VS being more useful than zap?

Well im a blaster holder due to ice secondary not a blapper and i would never think of wasting slots on VS, the damage tickles enemies and i know for a fact it wouldnt bother my regen.

If you use zap combined with build up it can whack a fair amount off the hp of any enemy, i know this from personal experience and many respecs.

6 slotting zap with 3 dam,1 recharge and 2 acc make it much more useful imho.

Dont you mean in your opinion?? I would say katana is better than MA due to its quicker recharge times and still does great damage.

Also powers such as DA, Soaring dragon and golden dragonfly have a defence bonus, knock up and knock down.

Thanks firekitty, i did have a spare couple of powers due to not taking Mog and gamblers cut.

I do notice the difference with having tough and just read your regen guide, very good and useful

What powers can you have to be able to blast except a couple of spine attacks?
Isnt a blaster's damage output higher than a scrappers?

Regens arent squishy, they just dont have sheilds like other sets but the self heals makes up for it.

IH may no longer be a toggle but its still a gr8 power and wat is a scraster????

well my primary is elec and i have taken most of the pwoers from the pool except the amazingly awful voltaic sentinal.

I would highly recommend the snipe, tesla cage is great as is short circuit. I can drain most of a boss's end with it.

Of course there is thunderous blast which one of 2 ranged nukes iirc and does great damage.

regen is great with integration, the 2 self heals and of course Instant healing.

I find before taking on a boss or any purple bad guy banging on IH and conserve power lets me take them on no problem.

really?? i always thought resiliance and tough combined to give a better overall defence?

A huge congtats to my good sg chum Algor for getting his very 1st lvl 50 on coh.

This guy is arguably one of the best healers i have had the pleasure to team with and if it wasnt for him our teams wouldnt be able to take on 5 mobs of rikti at once.

Hey super peeps, i was just wondering if any other lvl 50 regen scrappers have taken tough at all?

Mine is 49 now and feel even though his regen powers are great i could do with a bit more defence.

I have taken resiliance and 3 slotted it with defence so's.

i have never done this one before so i can come. I have:

lvl 50 elec blaster or
lvl 49 regen scrapper or
lvl 32 warshade.

I know siru jim is a lvl 50 katana/da and having fought with him in pvp i wouldnt mind making one meself lol.

lol sorry mate, my scrapper is katana and is great fun, i get a knock up in soaring dragon, an aoe in the lotus drops and golden dragonfly has the best animation and does great damage.

It is also very quick to recharge when combined with hasten.

How does regen take less skill?? Regen is a great set and we do not have any shields like the others. You have to know how long you can take a beating before hitting one of your heals and when to use instant healing.
