Well, i got tough on my regen and liking it very much. It gives 11,25% restisance to smash and lethal (According to Hero Builder 
)

well, it doesnt compliments regen well (not part of a regen, cause regens heal and dont avoid damage). But you can indeed survive a bit longer in fights. And in that bit longer time you can click a healing power.
So i like tough really well. And if would respec my scrapper I would certainly pick that power again. (But dont take weave, i find that a waste for a little +3,25% Def Buff)

So far i have noticed a bit of a difference in my defence so better than a kick in the nuts hey
take the slots out of resiliance, the resistance it offers is absolute rubbish, it should be taken for the auto mez protect but thats it, one slot in resiliance is the limit.
Tough is pretty good on regens

really?? i always thought resiliance and tough combined to give a better overall defence?

resiliance with 1 slot and no SO's: 5,62%
resiliance with 3 slots and 3 Damage resist SO's: 8,82%
So its not woth slotting, but if u do have slots to spare, slot them (every little bit helps)

On the contrary, it complements regen extremely well as having different defensive methods (regen buffs, resistance buffs and defence buffs) stack better than just increasing one type of defence. This is why Stone tanks in Granite are so effective - combining defence, resistance and high regen (with Rooted).
I've got Tough on my Claws/Regen but not on my MA/Regen and to be honest I haven't noticed a difference between their survivability on the way up to level 50. If you've got a load of spare power choices, go for it - but don't sacrifice other powers for the Fighting pool.
Thanks firekitty, i did have a spare couple of powers due to not taking Mog and gamblers cut.
I do notice the difference with having tough and just read your regen guide, very good and useful
Hey super peeps, i was just wondering if any other lvl 50 regen scrappers have taken tough at all?
Mine is 49 now and feel even though his regen powers are great i could do with a bit more defence.
I have taken resiliance and 3 slotted it with defence so's.
