OK, let me start by stating that a Brute will taunt any target they hit, just like all ATs. The Brute's taunt is equal to that of a Tanker, BUT it only effects the target hit. A Tanker's "Gauntlet" effects not only the foe hit, but other foes in his area, up to five enemies total.
