  3. Huh, my Fort gets played regularly on Guardian, by herself since I usually can't find a team. I PvE with her only and it's fun. One of my favorite toons actually. Love the combo of ranged offense, controls and defense

  10. Not too bad. Nothing I feel is gamebreaking and far better then some veteran awards. Shame about 60 months though, about two more years of me playing the game if I ever reach that...
  11. Whoa...Ok I've been around almsot long enough to have experienced this first hand, but having it all in one place, as a refresher, really is a nice addition. Hopefully some day we can get some of the questions brought up by this thread answered.

    I can get behind this at least. The Controller/Domination boost to the khelds inherant should already have been done. That makes sense. Now I would still say mez resistance is unecessary, but if a compromise had to be done then this is the way to go.

    With all the tools these Khelds give me, adding a 2 mez protection in an Inherant would offer protection from at least one mezzer. Ok folks are right that is miniscule on a team. But Solo? I rarely worry about Mezzers now, Tri-Form or Human but give me that and Solo gaming because entirely too easy, added with Dwarf it's just a cake run. So the argument here is on teams then, but if your on a team for the most part your team should support you so Mezz shouldn't be that big an issue. Add an increase from Trollers/Doms and it becomes just right, but have your own 2 mezz protection, on top of what a team can usually provide in straight protection or mitigation and it does become too much, especially if you factor the dwarf-breakfree. Even taking thAt away ( something I think is a bad idea since dwarf-breakfree works with AT theme) where would the drawback to human be since they have mitigation tools like Essence Boost, Inky Aspect, Restore Essence, Gravity Well, Pulsar etc. Blasters have defiance, sure, which give me an attack or two while being mezzed but they are still squishy. Defenders may have some some mezz protection, but for the most part they are mitigation against mezz. So on and so forth for other AT's.

    No, the solution Turbo came to is the best I heard for those who want a little more. Yet straight out protection just isn't a good idea IMO.

    Now, as for the Power Pools, I still think that's justified, especially in light of someone bribing up PvP. WS really suffer in this regard, and both AT suffer when in their meatiest form do to suppression. Opening up the Power Pools might not help, but it can salve some of it.

    Ok, that's my cheap pity shot into trying to open up the travel pools, heh heh, but I still maintain the position that for concept/creativity reasons that should be the case.

    If Peacebringers want to teleport, they can take Dwarf. If Warshades want to fly, they can take Nova.

    We need to get around to the fact that Kheldians are meant to be played different than the standard ATs. It was the original design, and the Devs are not going to back down from that stance, and I don't think they should. And I say this with a PB that I love to play. I like it because it's different.

    Blocking us from a power like air superiority is not forgivable.

    Knowing that they did so because they think players are stupid and would choose fly from the pool even though it's inherent on a PB at level 1 fills me with disgust. (Partly because I know that they're right, but that's what respecs are for.)

    Also knowing that the block on fly/tport pools won't be lifted will never cease to anger me. It's a BS decision.

    I emphatically concur. I used to be on the other side of the fence, thinking that the complaints were from those who wanted to maximize their performance by picking up Air Superiority (Nothing wring with doing so, but usually I don't find it in and of itself to be the complete reason to do so) but then I came to what all of us do after a while, a concept. My Human WS wants to hover, ok I can't, not in theme I guess. I want to Team Teleport then. Oh wait, despite having three of those very similar powers I can't. No other AT gets limited choices of Power Pools despite some having very limited functions (VEATs and Leadership, Tankers and Fighting). I understand, picking Fly if you have Energy Flight won't won't give anything to a player but a wasted power pick, but can't they code it in a way that having one gray's out a similar choice (have Combat Flight grays out Hover) and still coun't for requisites (having Starless Step and Shadow Recall gray out Teleport and Recall Friend, but allow you to pick of Team Teleport). It might take some time to code right, but this thing can't he impossible to do right.

    But I am so glad that villains get some new seperate missions. I haven't been in the crowd necessary yelling for it, but I won't deny that I did want it, just thought there was no point arguing about the inevitable watered down quasi heroish Red side. Glad I'm wrong.

    Ask for the reuse of Signatures, it's not that bad a thing. These are their heroes/villains and should be reused. CoX has this cyclic system of powered individuals so it makes sense. There looks are different as is their names. If I were to grumble, it would only be to say that some temporal differences in powers would have been nice. Imperious as a Tanker with Broadsword/Shield and his Electric APP or something, little things. But I won't argue, it's time saving for the Deve and in all who cares what powers, names and looks they have, I'm not playing them.
  18. I'm with the stay together bit. Are we badging? I don't care one way or another, but would skip Posi in a heartbeat. It's one thing if I'm dedicated, entirely another if I want to have fun and Posi just isn't fun for me. And what's this about Shard TF's on Saturdays?

  22. Hmm, not sure I agree with offering bought Respecs. Wouldn't use it myself, but I won't complain about the service except to say for the price and the fact you have to buy it, I'd offer a full Power Respec as well. Even if they offered that as well for 10$ I wouldn't use it but it would sound more a fair value.
  23. Ok, so i got a dozen new characters I'm making based on this awesome new feature. Boffo Man, The Shluckter, The Wonderful Whammo and Soopah Kablooow. I just hope I can pay extra for this feature, that only heroes get it, and that this feature stays crunchy in milk.
  24. I agree with the variety of Contacts. Have a set that is a sniveling toadie looking to ride out coat tails and another that fears us and gives us missions he thinks we'd want to do. Also, give some kind of clue in game as to the Hidden Contacts other then badges.

    Also in very much support of the unique enemies having their stories extended. I loved the Legacy Chain and was so disappointed when they fell off and all I had was yet again CoT.

    The rest of the list works with me.
  25. Well if it was a struggle for other players then the change is sound. Me, I thought the Hollows was invaluable to learning aggro ranges and other such things and I love it just the way it is.
