I bet noone that you've "talked" to has ASKED them to look for it, so they didn't. Communication is a tricky thing, especially if you treat your employees like [censored] and some companies treat their employees as bad as their customers.

I've said it before but: I'm hooked on this game so I'll probably stay until they cancel it in a horrible, unexpected way, but I'd never ever EVER pay for another NC game - EVER!

- Recluse SF hostage still bugged.
- ITF map still madly laggy.
- One brute patron seem to have only 4 powers. Might be right tho' (think it was the Mu guy)?
- Cathedral of Pain still closed
- I never saw who it was, but I saw a level 3 guy run through the vanguard base to a door. Deffo said level 3, but I was so surprised I never got his name.
- Improved stability patch would be greatly appreciated. Crashes are a tad too frequent now.
- Do I have to mention the lag?
- Still can't solo Hamidon!

Say that you actually ARE trying to screw them and get some free game time before you leave.

Would it in any way hurt them to activate you're account while they sort it out with you, and if you're payment isn't found within a month, cancel the account?

This just once again shows that NC just doesn't know how to make bussiness, they know #¤%& about customer service and they shouldn't be on the friggn market. This example alone is enough to explain why Tabula Rasa and Auto Assault failed miserably.

NC, you have all these GREAT assets, but you have no idea how to take care of'em. Will you ppl ever get your act together, or sell the licenses to someone that can actually take care of'em. Even during xmas, this is PATHETIC!

Well... Guess what:
My router blew yesterday!
Tried 3 new routers and they just won't connect to the net no matter what I do, so I'm now stuck with an old non-wifi router and only one computer actually working with it.
(Apparently, having a static IP isn't something routers seem to like. Basically there's no logic in it at all, so I'm really, really stuck)

...also, my car (almost) broke down, and trying to fix it I ended up in pouring rain (with those really really biig drops that hurts quite a bit when they hit you)..

...I could go on, but short story: Right now life really, really SUCKS and I'm sorry I didn't show up. Keep your eyes on the channel - once I've figured out how to break this curse I'm rescedule and post a few other events as well.

I'm thinking about organizing another GM bashing day.
Talking to seeral friends, I've realized many people still haven't downed the Granny flier and of course, now we also get merits (but not many) for any GM including the winter lord.

So killing of The sharky and Cap one repeatedly while waiting for a flier and opening prezzies while waiting for respawns (to get the winter lord) could be rather fun and with a couple of teams it would even be fairly rewardable.

Of course it wouldn't be too hard to take care of Caleb as well when we're at it if that's what people wants.

Now, I live an inherently unplanned life where things change very fast, so I'd love to have a reserve officer to step in, just in case I can't make it. (Considering how the mob started to talk very fast in PD yday when Omega was late)

Heard a lot of people complaining about not getting progress on their day jobs as well, but can't confirm it myself and they seem reluctant to really really care enough to bug report it.
Now we could whone and moan about it, but let's face it, it's new and not game breaking in any way, so I'm ok with NC sorting it out in their own good time as long as they work real hard on fixing real problems like the RSF hostage etc and getting I14 and I15 out!

Would be good to know... Apart from the new ski slope that's bound to drive me crazy, this is what really excites me with this years event.

The way for damage that works for pretty much any alt is to find a CoT mission, kill off anything in a mob except a single guide, get him close so he use his knife..

then you have to get down to rest position to get über damage. He takes a long pause between hits so with the über rest healing you're up to full health before next hit and the no-one-hit-kills prevents that single hit from killing you.

Many alts can improve on this by using other foes that do more damage or more foes, but this works for everyone.

Of course it's so stupid that you'll have to be in that mission for several months 24/7 before you get that last badge. It is... after all... Epic! (just another word for rediculously silly)

All these post just confirms what I've been saying for a long time:

CoX needs a fat clown cossie option and a belly slider so we can mimic real life chocolate lovers!

Serious game studies indicate a few things:

1. People that play computer and video games are actually MORE fit than the average person, since they also play football and other stuff more. They are, simply, more active.
2. Modern computer players have a bigger social network than the average person. Basically they're... MORE social.

Those two statements are based on *very* clear evidence.

It's also "indicated" that:
1. Playing games might improve childrens problem solving abilities
2. Playing games might improve childrens dexterity and motoric skills (not sure what's the english phrase, but it's the ability to use you're fingers to perform complex tasks)
3. Playing games, in general, has NO bad effects whatsoever, unless - as with everything - you overdo it. That leavess the question: What's "overdoing it"? 4 hours a day? 6? 8?

Watching TV for four hours isn't strange to most people, so actually being active, playing games should at least be way better.

Also worth noting: There hasn't been a single scientific report that's produced even a single case where a computer/video game has caused real life violence etc. A violent game might TRIGGER an already unstable person to do something bad, but it won't CAUSE a person to "go bad". And basically anything might trigger an unstable person anyway, he/she/it is a bomb waiting to go off.

...so that was a rather long post, but as a computer &amp; social science teacher I just had to get that out of me, since I've helpedwith a few of those studies. :P

Although it's worth noting that anyone that spends 8 hours/day on any game must be insane.

Generally PvP Skill is the last thing that applies in those Dev / Mod lead PvP events. They're more like a PocketD event with "Gank the Dev" thrown in. The Rogue Islands invasion and the Bridger / Rockjaw lead Sirens Call events for example.

...and really, it was only an example of what's been done that I liked. ANYTHING is better than nothing. I rarely pvp either. It took me up until a few months before I bothered to make a pvp-worthy alt (hey, I buff/debuff/heal/control, I don't do damage) but events like that with 100 people ganking each other (well, the devs/Bridger/Rockjaw/etc) is no problem for any of my alts, it's just a lagtastic fun community event.

Well, taxing actual, real-world transactions (money for gold) isn't really a problem. That's ok with me, just like any other service or product. I'm actually FOR it. It's a service like any other, so pay up gold farmers!

Selling gold in wow isn't really illegal, it's against the game rules (e.g. EULA) so that's not really a problem either.

If they, however where to put taxes on what you earn in-game according to some "current average real money prices" that would be indeed hilarious. I think I'd get away by saying I don't really earn the inf, I'm after all a villain, so f'coz I'm stealing it, not really earning it. Would still be rather bad for that last inf badge...

Still strange how many hillarous, stupid ideas get past the "dumb" filter before they're stopped. In Sweden they're currently outsourcing some of the work the police is supposed to do to private companies. Orwell, roll over!

At least they're very talkative when they're taking part of any event EU side. Every time I've been on Several of'em have initiated and engaged in private chats with me.

They do care, but of course the EU market is VERY small (but very dedicated). To boost our morale a few posts would go a long way though.

I wonder if they have in-game accounts EU side btw. Would be fun to see them lead a Siren's call pvp event or something every now and then. Dev/community stuff like that - even if players can arrange it as well - always gets me excited.
