Well, there's the possibility of new costume sets, not great, but a 69 month costume would impress some people.

Option to permanently choose a day job power would be nice as well.
Option to chose one other power from another set withon the ATs sets. 3 months later, option to chose 2 powers from a 3rd set. 3 months later, chose 3... or something similar.

...and of course we're all waiting for the "unlockable" ten extra enhancement slots.

on the more funny side: a lvl 1-50 insta-level one shot power. lick it to make the current alt lvl 50, but it will only work once. You could also choose to get an instant 5.000.000.000 inf bonus once!

I'm scared! I agree with FFM again! This is getting very disturbing! Why shouldn't a poor alien exposed to all sorts af things be affected? Fighting in radiation and all sorts of goooey stuff might change that white/black/blueish into... vomit green!

Yeah, makes sense... Sick of all that's happened - or NOT happened, the poor kheld's stomach can't handle it anymore, transorning into a squid he spills his guts and turn vomit green with the added ability to leave a trail of slimey goo after himself that might make people loose their balance ice slick-style.

...or someone just stomp on that squid, same effect!

Well, I usually go for the mayhems asap. At lvl 5 PO etc. You don't make XP THAT fast (without the ma)

...and they're easy enough to get through other players anyway. The temp powers are rewarded in Ouro as well. but if you've had them, they're weaker the 2nd time around.

Still, I've avoided good sets before, because it so highly annoyed me to take poxy useless powers like Gale. The possibility of getting through the low levels real speedy nowadays have given me a chance to try some of'em out. It still annoys me at lvl 30+ though...

I might end up keepin some anyway due to the possibility of using the crappy powers for sets. With enough inf it's sometimes worth taking a power you don't like just because you can cram in another set of purples in your build!

Indeed, with ice nukes etc going on, it's often VERY easy to loose the mouse on a high-rez big screen.

Targetting could use a make-over as well, it's rather hard to target stuff at times. (due to the target "boxes" you click a target, but end up actually clicking another target's "box")

Also remember, for brawl, some AT/sets actually kicks or hit with the blunt edge of the sword instead of boxing. Like that!

You met that vanguard arc Longbow with insane (bugged) amount of HP, or have they fixed that one? Last time it took me 40 minutes to finish him off solo.

Yeah, guess anyone fed up with new alts and with the desire to buff up might prefer non-MA perhaps. Adding the travel etc I doubt many of the current farmers will go that way though.

Reason: Once you're lvl 50 drop rates drop dramatically, so you'd still have to stop at lvl 47-49. I've done a bunch of TFs and SFs lately and tend to get so little out of it, it almost turns me off the whole ordeal.

What IS the point in slaying thousands of Romans when all you get is a poxy 28 merits and perhaps a few standard recipes and possibly a pacing of the sh1tt3r (just honoring Smurfnof, the pacing-expert)? Yeah, I know, soloing/duoing gives more drops - now isn't THAT great btw? - but it's still silly. I'd rather grind 6M inf in the MA and buy the stuff than solo papers/ouro til I get fed up and shoot myself out of boredom.

Actually the hero graphics upgrade came later, the "engine upgrade" (if any really... hum...) was there, but only used for the new pvp zones and villains. Some time later you heroes got a weee bit of upgraded textures etc, but villains still remain more gfx intense to this day.

I can live with those embarassing bugs as long as we get some content... Oh.. wait... We won't!

I just love how people already whine about how farmers/PLers will "abuse" it and how they, as "true" gamers will suffer for it.

Whatever happened to those funky 2-coloured text thingies? They where quite unreadable, but looked really good!

To be fair: All in I16 is things we've been asking for, for a long time - in that way it's good.

They said Power colour customization (let's face it, it's not power customization, it's colour customzation) was virtually impossible and they've been very quiet about the diff settings.

Thing is, if they'd done this 1 or 2 years ago we'd prolly mostly go WOOOOOOH! I'm still happy about it for one reason: They continue to revamp the engine/code and that's REALLY good news. But as content, with the little content we've had for quite some time, it feels quite cynical we're getting an explansion soon, and it seems to be the way for new content. It wasn't necessary to avoid content in the "free issues" because let's face it, we'll all buy the expansion anyway. So another content-thin/free issue is a let-down, especially since GR will take quite some time to be released with all the delays they'll run in to! ...and we all know they will!

I just really hope, one way or another, we'll soon see some serious "end-game" content. I think most of us really would like to have some serious fun with our biljons-of-inf-pumped-up lvl 50 alts...

I for one is not in the mood for another run of lvl 1-50 no matter what already-in-game power sets I can use. I have 20 great 50s I wanna use. I've spent too much time and inf on them not to. ..and I don't mean I wanna use them to PL yet another new alt. I wanna conquer the friggin' "free world", enslave the americans, get meself a bunch of concubines, an episode on "Cribs" and have an invitation to Oprah I can turn down!

They also seem to put some serious marketting into the release of Aion EU side, giving away "beta keys" and even the full game with mags etc. I was very interested in this when the first videos surfaced, but NC's poor customer service has put me well off any possible future NC game. I'm even reluctant to trying cryptic games like ST:O due to previous experience (not to mention most ST games have been uuuuseless)

What is the point in customizing the colour of your powers when you can't customize the actual power really, and when there's nothing to do with that power that you haven't already done 3425y8012236541264 times already?

I get it, GR is the content patch, pay twice for half the content - i get that! I actually got a beta key today for the "other game". At least there'll be new, unplayed content, and actually for free for about a month or two.

I pay my subs, so when I get very little for it i will whine, moan and [censored] about it. At least that's a F'in lot better than +1 posting.

Same thing goes for any GREAT game with little content, you get disappointed when it's all over. Once I got through Mass Effect I got very annoyed it was all over. unlike CoX it wasn't much fun replaying either.

The thing is, CoX is a VERY SMALL game when you look at story content etc compared to the other MMOs I've tried. I usually get blown away when I start looking at the wiki's how amazingly huge other games are. Not to mention the variety in missions and how alive the "zones" usually are, not just with players but with actual content.

We have... let's see, talk-to, patrol (heroes) and event glowies! Wow! We don't even have pre-rendered cut-scenes with voice-overs although they obviously can make ACE ones! Just having contacts actually speak "Hello!" when I click them might blow me away for a second or two. Even the amount of emotes are weak (not that I'd want the devs to waste time and resources on that). CoX is a small, comparatively expensive MMO with a very small EU player base. Not giving the existing player base some goodies is poor bussiness even if bringing in new players is absolutely essential.

..let's face it, new players won't save the game if us 3+ year sub'ers leave without coming back. The new diff system is nice, but I don't see pink imps or vomit-green fire breath keeping me in-game. Yes, I'll buy GR, I'll [censored] about how little content we get for the £ we donate and I'll anticipate even more moaning when I17 is announced.

Where's the "coming storm"?
Where's CoP?
Where's City Vault?
Where's the new forum?
Why's there no Broadsword/shield brutes?
Where's maaah content, maah?

They keep removing stuff. Recently lost buffing objects and hami greenies, instead of removing XP. Panic attacks instead of balanced, well concidered actions. It's all being handled rather poorly, and MA - from the start - was rather ill concieved. There's a reason no MMO has done this already.

With the constant changes, arcs keep getting broken and personally I just don't care anymore. All my planned arcs are on hold/scratched. MA is just another PL tool for me now. A good way of getting through lvl 1-21! The new diff settings will sure help a lot!

No it wasn't, but some people hardly care about that as long as they get they're F'in +1!
