  1. So a new system would have to be perfect and even if they gave an option so you don't have to pick one, it would still be bad? You can't really keep everyone happy no matter what you add. People hated the pvp changes and they are still in effect.

    The examples I gave weren't good ones. I used them as examples of what the perks could be. I can't come up with something perfect that everyone would like because i know someone would think it would think it was terrible if it took away from capping their character.

    These would be perks attached to your origin. Even if they were added it wouldn't be a case of oh we can't this or we can't have that. Because they could easily be made similar but not exactly the same. The devs can easily add a system of that sort. Calling it "Origin power pools" or something that are only active to your origin. I can't piece together extreme details but if people were still upset about an option to pick not to use it then idk.

    Yeah this is why I wanted someone to pick it apart and not just throw it to the wind. I wasn't able to think of all 5 perks but another one I had an idea about was

    Natural- Flame resistant clothing

    Mutant- cold blooded

    Each give you an increase in fire resistance but with something negative to go with it. With cold blooded it can make your slowdown resistance go down just a bit. With the 5 pickable option I still think adding an option to it so you don't have to take a perk would keep the classic players happy. That way they can't complain about the perks taking away something.

    Heres the thing. There would be 5 different types of perks for each origin. Each doing something similar. If they made it respec able. Then you could rechose your perk. It wouldn't be a matter of choosing a different origin because each perk will be the same but with different set backs
  4. For each origin there could be 5 perks. Each giving a pay out that only effects Pve and the arena, while also giving the option to turn them off before the patch. They would not work in pvp zones though.

    Each perk could give the same Pay out but with different negative aspect.

    Like for natural.
    Bodybuilder- 10% strength to each attack but takes away 5% from resistance

    Mutants

    Mutated strength- 10% strength to each attack but takes away from regen.


    This is an idea I came up with in the middle of the night. i'm looking for people to pick it apart for me.

  7. You could always put more than one bonus in a area. Like tech place mutants and tech people profit from it but tech people profit a bit more than them. Magical could be force levels or anywhere outside as well as natural.

    And the reason why enhancement stores wouldn't work is that this is supposed to be an active buff while you play and not something you log out to gain charges on.

  10. I don't know, it seems like a good idea but when you think about it. New members may just look up the top super groups and join them. This may make it much harder for newer super groups to gain members. Even if most of them start out just with friends teaming together it may stay that way.

    Exactly! I made a awesome looking robot suit with that and a couple goggles from the science pack and one of the gas masks.

    I like that idea but I think what they are doing, is trying to run into another mob to get more friends. That's what I've seen most of them do and when there's none around they usually come back because they are forced to fight. Idk if thats truly what they are doing but thats sorta what I've noticed. Even when taunted they still run anyway which is weird. If someone said "AHHH" in a deep voice to me, I'd be freaking pissed!

    but you are right. If they run that means you win I can understand the running when it's purse snatchers and gang members but not when your fighting high up villain groups.

    I seriously thought so too! But to be honest that actually makes the AI seem smart. I mean if your getting your **** beat would you sit there and take it or get the hell out of there? Most enemies i've seen end up fleeing when all their allies are dead.

    Yeah, your right. I'm hoping for a change for that. There's a robot animation where it gets dizzy and falls over kinda. I was surprised that was never added to ours. I'd be happy if we had atleast 3 solid death animations

    If no one worries about debt anymore, why is it bad to use it to prevent debt? How is it misusing it when it takes almost a half hour to use it again? Its a power that misses most of the time unless you pop yellows. The people i've played with either hit it by accident or they hit it for a joke. If they did power it up, yeah it could be misused, but in no way is it like a blasters nuke like some people have said on this thread.

    What's so bad about? The move has such a long recharge it can only be used once in a blue moon. I don't see why it is so bad?
  19. I don't see how doing that would be over powered anyway? The attack itself misses most the time and even when it hits I probably slightly damages everyone near. Most people I know only use it for debt protection anyway

  21. Well besides acc I'm talking about giving it a break free effect. Just like when your a PB and you transform. It breaks you free form a status effect. I hate being a troller and getting held helpless not being able to prevent debt
  22. I don't see any negative point to not? Most people use it for debt protection anyway seeing as you have to pop some yellows in order for the attacks to land.
