^^ this, as i was told by a source on my msn, that posi and castle tested i12 pvp and THEY found it not fun, so revamp was in order, and no it wasnt TG, cos i told TG about it. the selfishness is unbelievable, no matter what we think (obvious by evidence of our feedback and suggestions we had for pvp) that its what suits them best, never mind us who pay the money to play it. -

I'm not finding that. Honestly I am finding it more and more demoralizing day by day. Seeing that tiny amount of cookie cutter builds every day is just depressing.
Anyone agree that villains seem to be 85% widows/forts now? Followed by the ubiquitous sharkers (the AT formerly known as stalkers). Just spamming you with those damned sharks.
I think I am close to just calling it a day on pvp. There are great people still playing but I refuse to roll an overpowered flavour of the month just to compete.
Seems like if this trend continues unchecked by the devs it wont be long before all pvp is just widows/forts versus blasters.

aye ur not wrong for me charnell, forts, stalkers with sharks and SS brutes is all i seem to see i agree, for heroes, i see nothin but PFF blasters, SS Tanks and thats about it lol. last few nites aint been bad but there's less sets more unpopular than ever now thanks to castle, my acc runs out on the 18th i think i wont be resubbin, i only subbed agen to get some stuff back frm a m8, but dnt think il b stayin. -

After managing to decipher what you said, I feel it's a matter of opinion. Melee has, and continues to, not have much of a place in PvP. In I13 the buffs to DM have made it quite viable and I have no complaints about its damage.
Moreso, to run a attack chain that constantly heals for 240 HP every 3-4 seconds, non interruptable and hard hitting, is nothing to sneeze at.

thats where u are wrong, at this current time i have slotted my tanker back up simply because super strength is the most overpowered thing right now, not to mention that block of ice from ice mastery in pvp does for me around 600 dmg, blasters dont even do that anymore which is silly and that is their primary, mines an epic power lol, and with the -range that taunt does, bring ranged people to your toes, melee has cemented its place in pvp right now. -

From 107 HP to 63 HP, it goes lower when the first sneeze makes RTTC drop. I loves my WP tank but it has no place in PvP. If I hadn't paired it with Dark Melee it would crash and burn every fight against whatever. As it is Siphon Life keeps me up.

I just got 806 dmg on flurry from a WP/SS tank whilst running Rage and with a rech of less then 2 secs. That means I could prob kill someone in less then 10 secs lmao!

With more detailed information on the MA now available, anybody had any more thoughts how to make a legend arc (or a couple of them in "honour" of the said person/people)?.
My thoughts is that for the pvp legends it'ld be nice to have to rescue them and then have them turn onto you (hostile hostages). Elite boss/Archvillains would be the most suited for this imo.
For the badgeking Sal, you could have him as your contact in search of his missing/rare badges that were stolen by XXXX group (custom group the "badge hunters"? oh think of own!) and you have to go and retrieve them.

i have to agree with rooks tbh, pvp on a whole now is a joke, and fire blast is also a joke, if anythin id go with sonic or psy for blaster now, but some combinations on there i agree with, ice/ss/ice is good, fortunata's, elec/therm corrupters, thermal > kinetics imo, mind/elec domi's, not been against 1 but they supposed to be nasty to deal with. but on a whole, there's more sets now than ever that are useless in pvp, i13 was supposed to balance things but its done a complete opposite and pathetic job. -

Movement supresion isnt really that bad you make it out to be, bunnyhopping as ranged char is still a solid way to avoid attacks from meele toons.
