Cool... never used demorecord before, got it to work first try on my own (with help of the wiki). I'm so proud.
I guess since it's open beta, we can record videos and post them without fear of getting our accounts axed, right?
Oh, and how'd you get that head on your toon there, Warden? It looks different.... -
Ooooh.... it is real on test... now to figure out how to use it. Nice screens, too!
-
Doh! Just logged in and looked at the percentages on Ninja Run. They're the same. But still, font remains bogus looking.
-
Look at the percentages on the speed increase. Epic or epic farce? And yes, the font is funky also. *updating test now*

Quote:Yes, yes, yes, and yes on all of the above. Especially the emotes, option to make a muzzle / chin / nose longer, tweak facial features, etc. The old digitigrade legs have GOT to go.... or be appropriately revised. Sort of like how Disney did it on the Beast from Beauty and the Beast (only reasonable example that comes to mind).I've been waiting for this booster for a while! Let's see what I can think of to add...
A big one: Another "layer of skin" in costume editing so that fur patterns may be used with "skintight" clothing items. Currently, my spotted-fur character's wardrobe is greatly restricted for the lack of this.
New "monstrous" heads for as many species as possible (including wolves, the current wolf heads are really horrible. I don't use them no matter how appropriate they would be for a character for this reason.) Also, more customization options for each head/face like fur marking patterns and shape differences
Digitigrade (monstrous) legs that don't look awful with multiple paw/claw/hoof options that also don't look awful (again, the current ones are awkward and horrible.)
On-all-fours travel powerset.
Emotes for common animal behaviors. Maybe:
;scratch (sit down and scratch at ear with a rear foot)
;tailwag (happy on-all-fours emote)
;curlup (walk in a circle on all fours then lay down curled up in a ball)
;play (maybe both feline and canine versions; dog play stance, and playing with a cat toy or string ^^)
and I liked the idea of a "fetch" emote.
Non-monstrous faces; A face option that is a slightly extended muzzle (maybe several styles of this for feline, wolf, fox, avian/beak, lizard, etc) along with several new face "skins" to match, that can be used with hairstyles. I think these would be quite popular. -
LMAO! No, I actually meant, yes, getting to hug random people. Similar to what we get to do when we throw a snowball or a rock at someone.
Hugging mobs seems counter-intuitive... we'd all get to laugh at the dumb idiot running up to mobs and hugging them instead of attacking and getting himself waxed... It would bring Leroy Jenkins-ing to a whole new level!

Chinese dragon head, FTW!

Quote:THAT would be way cool. Where's the like button??I'm actually surprised they're booster material. I'd hoped for a new high-level Praetorian zone where these kinds of critters would feel right at home.
Imagine a "lost world" styled land (kind of a staple of the superhero genre) just outside of Praetoria. Its a place where Hamidon has begun the process of reverting the earth back to what it was before man... where perhaps captive humans are mutated into part-animal forms to take the place of creatures previously driven to near extinction.
Of course, Hamidon seems to like more of a "devoured" look for human captives... so maybe this is the work of a twisted scientist that believes he's "saving" humanity by distorting them into forms that Hamidon doesn't see as a threat to the earth...
OH... and total ditto with needing to have the ability to put hair styles on an animal head. I concur. -

My hopes:
Revised wolf / werewolf heads (I have loathed the current ones for too long). Maybe a true wolf's head and another option for a werewolf's head?
Tiger and maned lion heads (with it being feasible for a domestic cat character as well). Of course, the current screenshot of the leopard looking character that's out there is just... grrr baby. LOL. Of course, stripes for the tiger's head.
Bull head / minotaur head (pretty easy since they have Cimmy minos already).
Bear heads (although one of the current beast options is viable for a bear).
Bear paws. Nothing like a big a$$ bear paw swipe coming your way!
Better ear options for heads (especially the wolf / werewolf heads... if we could have *true* wolf ears, that would be oh so delectible). If we could put the current ear options on animals heads that are available for human heads, that would be great. Like the cat, teddy, wild cat, etc.
Stripe / pattern options for the current tails.
Pattern options for the animal heads. For example, be able to put a tattoo over one of the eyes of the character, etc.
Better coloring options for the wolf heads and the new ones (not just being limited to skin color and then fur color).
Feet: ones that are not just considered monstrous, but some that we can just put under a pair of pants or armor and be happy with it without those strangely obscure legs that don't work well with some characters. A revision of the current monstrous feet would be nice as well.
A hope from a friend (probably won't ever have to do with animals, but...): other EXTREME body types. For example, being able to make fat toons. He really wants to make a fat a$$. LOL. He says, "I like big butts and I cannot lie!" He asked for me to throw this in here, just for kicks. -
Animated Tails: Does this mean that there *might* be some new tails added for i17? Like maybe a fluffy foxy looking tail? That would complete SOOOO many characters! Epic Champions Online copy! LOL.

That's what I was afraid of that it would be i13 related. Oh well... guess I just get to sit around and twiddle my thumbs while I wait for the devs to fix stuff. Thanks anyway.

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble getting /binds with petsay_all to work? I tried to manually bind what I wanted my pets to do (I had it set once to an MM that I eventually deleted) and it doesn't seem to be working. So I came here and tried the loading txt file binds and that didn't work either. Now there are a few things you need to know first about what I have tried thus far:
1) I loaded binds for casting force field bubbles on players just a few minutes ago using a Defender forum called Forcefielder's Bible (or something like that). The load binds worked.
2.) For making my pets do stuff, it's not working... trying to get my pets to do anything is not working.
a). for example this command works: /petsay_all Hello!
b). This command does not work for bind loading: numpad1 "petsay_all <em praise>$$petsay_all Hail! The Indestructible Mastermind!$$bind_load_file c:\CoH\petsay1.txt
-- this is with the saved files named properly, the directory is correct, double checked, etc. My bubbler's load file binds are saved in the same directory (c:\CoH)
c). I also cannot seem to get any binds to work with petsay_all.... for example of one not working /bind x petsay_all <em dance> Shake it!
d). Lastly, I also cannot bind anything to work in local chat. When I bind it, my character says it instead of my pet.
So, is this a new bug or is it deliberate? Is anyone else having difficulty getting petsay binds to work?
I think I've covered everything and have left nothing out. -
Oh, and one more would be Witches.

Don't know if this one has been suggested yet, but it's different from all of those listed in that really long list.... Aliens... little green men, or big and bad like alien vs. predator. My top picks are werewolves and beasts/animals though.

Muchas Gracias! Thank you NC Soft for fairness and customer satisfaction! I will certainly be a returning customer...

A tip that I would like to share is get on a team with your SG mates and Coalition members. I've found that with teaming with such people who are good at working together and have developed friendships, that things go alot faster. For example, my SG and our Co's can crank out a TF in under an hour in some cases (depending upon the TF in question, of course.) Even with mishes things go a lot smoother and we hardly ever have to take a breather. A lot of that is credited to a Rad who has AM, etc, and sharing inspirations. You can breeze through a mission without stopping if you keep it rolling. A lot of SG leaders have many alts and they are seasoned players. When you have an array of toons to choose from to build your team and you know the people behind them are reliable, then everyone know's their toon's job and things just roll along smoothly. That sounded a little redundant to me but I wanted to get that point across. :P
You'll get loads of XP in no time! -
I'm also having a cursor problem (used the fix, and now I have a cursor... BUT...) my scroller on my mouse (touchpad since it's a laptop) doesn't zoom in or out. Do you have a fix for this one?
