You forgot U'Kon Gr'ai.
Also, I'd omit Sally from that list just because she's a joke of a monster, not scary, and already has an accolade attached to her defeat.
If you REALLY want to make it epic.. add Hami to the list. haha
Also, to keep it fair.. provide one for Villain side also including Deathsurge, Caleb, Ghost of Scrapyard, Flyer, U'Kon Gr'ai.
Other than that, it sounds cool I guess.

Sally gets fun when ten guys are all waiting around for her to spawn so they can get their second hit in :-) I left Hami off the list because, despite anything, Hami's in a category all its own!
I agree that a Vill version should be made as well, but as I'm less experienced with the red side I leave its details to those better informed! -
With all the accolades we have in the game there seems to be a glaring and obvious omission, namely, an accolade for nailing all the GMs. Everyone knows its fun to hunt these guys down and there are enough of them to warrant an accolade.
So, I'd like to propose this. Add an accolade for which the criteria is defeating Adamastor, Babbage, Eochai, Jack, Jurassik, Kraken, the Kronos Titan, Lusca, Paladin and Sally. Give the accolade a power that reflects fighting all these nasty fellas--like a terror / fear / mez resist for two mins, usable every 1/2 hour or so.
I'd call it Shaytanah's Kiss after my quasi-demonic favorite toon, but I doubt that'll happen. :-) What do you all think? -
ah, so a Visa gift card will work if I add that as a credit card?
-
Does anyone know if there is a way to get server transfers without buying them off a credit card (which I don't have)? I've got a good one languishing on one server who I'd hate to give up on...

I can't say much about SR on the brute side, but it's my Stalker's secondary. You really need every power in the set to make it as potent as possible.
When he was 46 I took a lvl 50 scrapper in RV--dropped Elude and when he hit the ground he complained that he just couldn't hit me.
SR is awesome...but requires planning. Post your build when you can; I'd love to help. -
Will look for you in game, Mystic!

Hi all
I'm an experienced player but miss the RP elements in which I indulged in other MMORGS. In that vein, I'm thinking about sipping my toes into Virtue server.
There are a lot of SGs out there, and it can be a hassle to try and find one that is active and fun. So I figured I'd start this thread and say a little bit about myself in the hopes that ann SG or VG might present itself.
I'm an extremely creative type and write a lot. During my time in SWG I ran events on a weekly basis that were plotted out and ready to go, generally to rave reviews. I'm also a very active player, familiar with the ins and outs of the game. I'm looking for an SG / VG that is active (by which I mean more than 2 or 3 players who log on once a week or so), dedicated to the RP experience, and to making the game fun for all. I'm not concerned with leveling on Virtue, but rather with content and interaction.
My toons tend to be occult or space themed (although not exclusively!) but I'm more than happy to work with any kind of themed group. If I seem a good fit for your group, drop me a line and let me know the details.
Hopefully, others new to Virtue will check this thread and look for their kind of group as well.
Cheers! -
My issue with Vill badges is simple...getting ones you missed. Now blue side, you hit Oro and its simple. Red Side tho...if you don't have a contact unlocked, you apparently can't Flashback their mishes. And if your level is high enough, whichever contact unlocks the one you need won't give you mishes anyway.
THAT is a headache. -
Zuben--just did you arc. Kudos on lots of humour and a large number of subtle and not-so-subtle pop cultural references--for me, that kind of thing makes a mish. So, here's some feedback:
Mission One: I enjoyed myself immensely. Very much liked the cow enemies and almost peed when I suddenly got the joke about the Red Bulls. Now I can usually take down most bosses with little effort so I blithely sauntered over to that scumbag. He heals. Sunovabitch.  Mish fun, not too long, fun. And Heroes was a re-run 
Mission Two: Im here to kick [censored] and chew grass! ROFLMAO! Had fun on this one too; found the boss challenging solo but got er in the end. Good map for me too as my main toon is a flyer. The two PPD lieutenants spawned quite close together so they were an easy rescue, but I imagine this is a random factor.
Three and Four - pretty straight forward, good challenge, I enjoyed them. Cowthulhu! Whee!
My only real criticism is one of your bosses in the final mish--the King of Burgers, I believe (gravity powers), Bugger was insanely tough and smacked me around. I image he'd have been more managable with a group tho.
Overall, a balanced and funny arc. Top marks for you, and my full endorsement (not that its worth much, but....) -
Wow, Herring, awesome nerd reference! Quadrotriticale indeed! My hat is doffed to you, good sir!
Zuben--I will play your arc tonight, or tomorrow morning and I WILL send you feedback about it. Ask, and ye shall receive! -

I'm hating the rating system at the moment myself. Because people in general don't seem to understand the concept of rating something. They look at it as a yes or no question. Do you like something? If yes 5 if no 1.

The problem here is just laziness. I think of the stars as a checklist--good story? There's a star. Interesting mish? There's another. I like creativity. If your custom enemies' appearance is just a costume from the ready-made ones found in the character creation screens, well....don't hurt yourself (of course, I'm anal about costumes and have been pleased when folks have asked permission to take a shot and replicate my costumes).
All that being said, when I provide feedback I'm clear about why I gave the rating I did.
It is incredibly frustrating to get bad ratings and no feedback. I run my arcs with friends invited specifically because they will give honest feedback.
Maybe what we need is a cross-server group of veteran players willing to volunteer and run arcs with the specific goal of providing feedback. I know that as a badge [censored] par excellence I'm gunning after that Chosen One badge someday; without player feedback how I can be sure I'm up to snuff, ya know? -
This shouldn't be too tough...I can't call up 'skirts/shorts' when making a male character. Plus, the maps let you know if you have too many glowies etc; I imagine its an easy fix for the Devs. That being said, it's likely not a priority with I15 on the way.
Though I do love Rularuu... -
Well, a good chat!
I see both major points here. Personally, I like a good story to contextualize mishes. Let's face it--every mish is either a) kill everyone / boss; b) rescue someone; c) collect glowies (etc--point is, there are a limited number of options to work with). A good story makes things a lot more fun.
That being said, the downside is pouring all your time and energy into a story that can only been seen by the team leader anyway. :-)
On the flip side, despite the essential limits on mish objectives, there needs to be challenge enough that folks enjoy it--cakewalks don't work.
I think the coveted DC badge needs a good mix of both; or in other words, 'Moby Dick' didn't need just the whale, it needed Ahab's personal issues (a story!) to fly.
BTW--both are very readable; Milton's take on Satan is one of the most interesting ones in Western Christian culture (says the religious studies grad student....) -

OMGoodness, the apostrophes... on a plural... it BURNS!

It's not a plural, it's a possessive. :-) And we all know possession is nine tenths of the law.
