well, if you really want a challenge, make a defender and take the entire fighting pool along with the attacks from the jump pool and flight pool and just some of your debuffs. sounds bad but it may be just the challenge you want.

Hello,
Ever since I17 came out, any part of the UI where a character portrait is supposed to show up (easiest examples are the Contacts tab and the Costume change selection interface) show nothing. Just a black box. I've kept hoping this was simply a bug that would get fixed without my having to do anything, but I decided it's time to take action. Can someone tell me what steps I need to start taking to fix this?
* I tried running in safe mode, I get the same thing.
* I updated my video drivers right before I17 came out, with the help of a friend who pays a fantastic amount of detail to how to do something like that the right way.
Any help you can give would really be appreciated.

It's normally X of one level and Y of another level. For Level 35 you also need to craft Level 40s to earn the badge to cut crafting costs in half and ignore recipe costs.
They can still be the same type. Lets say you are crafting damage, you don't need to craft knockback, just, in this case 11 Level 40 damage Common IOs on top of the presumably 11 Level 35 damage ones you had already made. -

The problem with COX's advertising is that it's all passive. You aren't going to find it at Gamestop unless you go looking for MMOs. You aren't going to find the website unless you specifically look for MMO sites. Basically, all of the "advertising" requires the user to be looking for the product in the first place.
There are other, more active forms of advertising that could hit the target audience and improve the game's population.
Or we can all sit here in denial and say that everything is perfectly fine and there is zero room for improvement on any front.

if there weren't enough people on any given server to keep it open, i'm sure NC would be closing some down. as it seems, there must be enough activity on every server to warrant keeping them open. end of discussion. -
you need to craft a number of each of the io's that are listed towards the badge. they are grouped together. you can not just craft one kind from the listing group. i forget what is listed with what but someone will be along to explain that shortly.

The best advertising the game has been getting is too subtle to really count as such -- someone on the creative teams of the TV shows Chuck and The Big Bang Theory (especially the latter) are huge fans of the game, so include CoH & CoV items in the background of many episodes. Yet if you didn't know about the game already, you would likely have no idea of the significance of the prominent product placement. Which really reduces said PP to easter egg status for those in the know.

Why Are We Doing This?
As you probably know, GameStop is the top gaming-focused retailer in the US. When they expressed interest in putting together this new program, it felt like a great way to get the word out on Going Rogue and to make sure every GameStop store in the country was promoting our launch.
Fine, but what about people who dont have a GameStop nearby, or dont shop there? Thats where Razer comes in. As part of the GR launch, Razer will be launching their own GR site, promoting CoH in all of their forums, newsletters, providing a coupon for GR customers and even designing a brand new mouse pad with our help.
So we decided to pool our resources to create one powerful marketing campaign, designed to create an opportunity that seemed so interesting that someone who doesnt yet play CoH would be interested enough to try this game. -

update your xp to service pack 3, update your video drivers to the latest ones and try to update your sound drivers. also do a disc clean up and defrag.

this would require new skeletons. not to mention how do you get powers for the creatures? way to much work when you can use your costume slots to make different creature costumes to change into. -

these are available during the halloween event as temp power costume changes. there are a bunch of them. but they only last for a short while. 13 days real time i think. but they can be gotten over and over during the event.
