Most mezzes don't have a s/l or melee vector
This puts rad/fire at a difficult position since it would benefit greatly from having s/l defense but that alone would do little good if mezzes keep landing.
I have a rad/fire myself and I think I finally found a build that I'm satisfied with.

Thanks for the guide; it's is great and im going to hold onto this closely.
Robo's are great especially with their -regen, seekers and the burn patch that Assault gives.
What's appealing to me is Thugs as it has a Brute which could help with Tankerminding..
Or it could be the complete opposite and disrupt the method as I'm guessing he comes with his own taunt.
I'd like to exploit the supremacy a lot while taking on AV's ofcourse giving a mastermind a lot of toys to play with is going to be the win factor (As my first MM back in i7 was a Robo/FF)
And as much as it was fun blitzing through missions it felt very much like i had early access to [Walk] .
Right now I'm thinking of Thugs and Necro to pair with Traps.
But of course would I just be making this harder for myself for AV killing, by not picking Robo's or would I be able to get away with it. Considering the only defense aura I'll have is the Shield Generator (ignoring pool powers and patron shields)
Thugs have a wide range of grants from Smash and Lethal to Fire dmg with Overwhelming force (via Gang War) + a Tank
Where as Necro has Smash, Lethal, Toxic with -ToHit + Controls
Hmm im gonna have to build both on mids and see what numbers I can get out of both!

Just noticed that all pets necro get a heal on 2nd tier upgrade... this is a pretty good bonus' factor considering I don't have any direct heals with /Traps -

And with the 7 PBAoe's ( Burn, Irradiate, Consume, Combustion, Hot Feet, Fire Circle, Spring Attack) Chomping down mobs in second would adhere hopefully little no problems.
However it proved to be the opposite once I hit the field.
I went above the SnL Soft cap for incarnate content as I was lead to believe it was at 5X%?
Why is capping Energy cap important o.o? I did some digging around and found that majority of the holds are ranged attacks which is a potent threat on a blaster with no Clarion >.
Thinking about it would it of been better if i went for the safety root and gone for Res instead? -
It's been quite a couple of years since I've looked at Mastermind set.
And I was thinking of building my second one for i23.
I would like to build a Tankermind preferably with /Traps.
I would love to be able to go along the game fighting AV's / Heroes.
Would any of you have any primaries to suggest over the other?
I understand that Thug/Dark and Robo/Dark seem to be the most obvious of choices to go ahead but I just can't stand Shadow Fall >.<!

Yeah End Drain is a headache, however, you have Consume, you also have Form of the Mind - if you have concerning end issues.
Though i'm convinced majority of my end-drain is going to come from chaining attacks for DPS,
with my high recharge build -

Well first things I noticed you've only got 4 pts of KB proc? Lets add one more
I can see you've gone for the more survival root with 41% to S/L/M
I highly suggest you take Gladiator's Armor 3% def and Steadfast 3%
They are both pretty cheap to buy these days...!
I came up with minor adjustments to your build and managed to push up to:
45% S n L and 47% to Melee for a small sacrifice of 4% Resistance!

You should post your own build instead of asking for a handout. It is much easier for mids fu masters to critique what you post rather that talking about something that may not even exist yet.
The patch to mids just came out a couple of days ago, and no one may have even completed a build. Let alone the fact that they may not be willing to just hand it out...
I, for one, decided to have a stab at making one; its focused mainly around recharge and dishing out AoE damage. Please Critique, slag off, slap it and abuse it please!

Right finally got your build onlive without the Purple sets and so far its pretty fun.
I thank you, however solo wise I don't have the benefits of Incarnate bonus' especially since you have access to Barrier and Rebirth (Ofc not at the same time) Which kinda sucks on my part since its gonna take me a while to work it up.
So this left me no choice to rejig your new build I managed to get almost 10% more defense out of your build without any use of Purple sets (Bar the PvP IO)
I also managed to got more overall recharge, and also 5% more damage to all.
Also on live im missing a %1 from defense compared to mids? Weird I know however not to worry.
Edit: Just realized that everything is has been set relative to +5
Anywho's um something to note: I've used "Brawl" as a mule power and put Mako in to Gamblers cut, for i23 or rather with the new set bonus i plan to remove it with Critical Strikes.
Which means I'll lose that 3.75% Ranged defense in exchange for more damage, AoE defense which to me seems like a good trade off....
As far as I know i dont know what the stats would be for the purple version of Critical Strikes but im guessing the 3.5% bonus turns to 5%? and that would put me to just over 30% Damage to all.
Oh PS Kangstor; I found your build on one of the posts you started and brought that to live; whether thats your final build im unsure >.<! but yeah. Thanks I'll post both up so people can compare. <I took out SS and replaced it with CJ>

Im sure most of you have noticed about when teaming Set Bonus' dissapear when your not in range of the level you slotted it for. Im sure this leads to people having other implications such as Endurance issues or lacking the Defence or Resistance to tank for fellow lowbies.
What i was hoping for was that IO's to be capped down to a version of its self in range for when a player Exempts, for them to be able to use it.
For Example:
Quote:Players who love their toons tend to put in time and care into getting out as much as possible out of it via thier IO's. Id like something of the sort to compliment those who exempt with IOs.A level 50 Scrapper has 4 parts of the set Bonus of Performance Shifter. The version the scrapper has is for 42's (range of 39). When the scrapper is exempt to do Sis Psy TF the IO's are capped to the level 28 IO's (As it is in range of Security level 25)
PS: Gotta say thumbs up to the + 5 Security levels of powers though, that was a nice feature implemented. -
I believe it was integrated into game from the high demands of roleplayers. Tbh your not gonna walk to your enemies all fancy like and suddenly unload a slug. The developers would be criticised for their stupidity to allow such a thing. None the less you have normal running around and ofc your sprint.
Also if you notice walk turns off all powers, including auto ones iirc. -
