I was just about completely underwhelmed. The only good part were his visions as he was dying. It was not Epic like an Epic hero deserves. There should have been some sort of fight, some sort of final sacrifice that saves someone elses life, not, "Oh look it's raining, Zap I'm dead!" Seeing more of him in the other arcs might have been nice too. We don't even see him in the previous stories until his death scene. We never got to see his reaction to the death of his daughter, we never got to see his reaction to the other attacks on the Phalanx.

If he stays dead, (which this is a comic book universe so I have to question that), I wouldn't mind seeing a story arc develop where perhaps Emperor Cole or Reichsman puts on the Statesman costume and uses it to infiltrate and bring it down from within.

So I think my account was broken for like a day while I was away from home on business in the middle of the period spoken of. Does this mean that since my account was inactive for a day or two that I will be ineligible for the rewards?

I'm afraid I did not read every page of this topic to see if someone else had thrown this out there. They have just completed unreserving names of characters on accounts of 6th level and below, on accounts that have been inactive for however long it was they said. I believe I read somewhere that this released over a million character names for use. Perhaps this symbolized the "Deaths", or "Continued Incarceration" of say over a million Lowbies.

I'm not sure about the contact listing, that doesn't make much sense unless they are overhauling the storylines and contacts. It could be fun if they introduced a more interactive way of dealing with storylines, where individual origins and archtypes had some sway in things. I believe people have been in fact requesting that since the game went live. Just my thoughts on the matter.

If I was to preorder copies from all the locations, can I upgrade my account with all the preorder codes like we could upgrade our account with the CoH Collectors set thereby getting ALL the spiffy helmets?
