Actually, most of their powers, including the attack power with the -heal/-regen effect, are set up as Auto powers so they don't shut down while held. As is Regenerative Aura, technically - I assume it was not made a toggle so that it could only be shut down by holds and not by disorients or other mezzes.

With 3 SOs, that's 4 seconds. Which means you can stack it 3 times per controller (12 seconds, with a 3 second left over).

That's 9 mag hold (not taking into account Overpower, because it's not reliable).

50 points of hold protection / mag 9 holds = you need 6 controllers spamming their single target hold to hold a mito.

Dominators have it easier because of Domination, but still. Congratulations, the LGTF is now controller / dominator only.

What the heck, Castle? I'm truly confused at how having 50 mag protection on a 8-character task is a good idea.

(And if I sound bitter, it's because I just wasted two hours running this TF, twice, just to find that now "WAI" means "full controller team or you're screwed". I'm not happy right now.)
Your math is too optimistic. Green mitos have 50% hold resistance, so all the holds will last half as long. Type [mitochondria healer powers.resistance] in game to see the numbers.

I don't like the look of that list. I also don't understand how some of those could have the same problems as Numina ++. But there may be a power I'm not considering.
It just means that those IOs are missing the "Unaffected by buffs and enhancements" tag. I don't think there's any way to, say, slot a +stealth IO in a way that would give it a bonus to the magnitude of the stealth effect. Similarly, you couldn't boost Call of the Sandman heal proc unless you dropped it in a sleep power that you could throw a heal enhancement in.

Edit: Or a golgi, I suppose - there might be various hami-o's that would do that, as you can often slot HOs with random bonuses that don't do anything for the power they are in.

    Then again, maybe not.
That picture must be at least a couple of years old as there isn't a giant blue building in the left of the shot.
  5. Judging by the placement of the plaque, he's standing outside the university in Cap. Or that's what he wants you to believe - this picture is an obvious photoshop job. Those jagged red lines don't show up in the normal client.
  6. I guess I need to get my MM leveled some more, he's got every available day job but cimerora/vanguard/midnight club, and isn't earning credit for any of those because of being too low level.

Shame I didn't take advantage of the bugged 2x, 3x, 4x earning spots with higher level villains while they were still around.
  7. The enemy spawning code in AE seems to be broken. If any of your ranks has a mix of enemies with various level range restrictions (example: minion 1-20, minion 21-30, minion 31-54) and some of them would be gray spawns, then you will get only gray spawns, the appropriate-level enemies will never be selected.

The only way around this is to carefully select a single (or very few) types of enemy, and restrict the mission level to match the level of the enemies.

AE farms with only one enemy type, will of course never run into this problem.

One of the advantages Elec Blast gets is that the AoE powers show up very early. My Elec/MM has three AoE powers available for Positron. Add in that energy and psi are both quite effective against clockwork.

Elec's only real shortcoming is the lack of a 40' single target tier3. Personally, I would make Zapp be that t3 and keep Sparky unchanged.

You're not improving the game with this change.

This is what it boils down to, IMO.

I regularly play a /kin corruptor and often team with MMs. I generally try to keep Speed Boost on a mastermind's t3 pet, which works better for some MM primaries than others - I would guess Bots works best given the proportion of damage coming from Assault vs Protectors compared to, say, Lich vs Grave Knights.

I'm not angry about the change, just disappointed. And I think it's darkly amusing that Voltaic Sentinel, a power that a significant number of players feel is underwhelming already, is being made worse.

I have it in Tactics on my Controller and can honestly say I have never felt it go off... maybe it has and I just never noticed it. Is there ANY sort of graphical indication? Buff icon, build up sound/effect, anything?

If you look at your info page, where it shows "Set Bonus", after all of the Small Improved Regeneration Bonus, Medium Recharge Time Bonus, etc. look for a "Boost Up" set bonus to appear.

Oh, and I don't think the info page refreshes on its own.
