A nuke, though? That'd wipe out ALL of his city. No one would be left to populate his rebuilt "utopia". Then again, CoH logic.
Also Reppu's actually right. There are a lot of good people in Praetoria. Noble Savage, the carnival of light, the warden resistance, and plenty of forgotten badlanders in the ward. Tyrant's official bio kind of sums the whole thing up, though. As does the Underground's ending. -
I want it to come out so people quit making petless demon masterminds. As much as I like NOT hearing those disgusting grunts...
-
Because Cole totally didn't invade us multiple times and threaten to wipe us out. OOPS.
Also *Spoilers*
Nuking the center of his own metropolis is totally the answer to all his problems. -
Ambushes are used to prevent farming. However you can have a constant ambush if it's linked to a destructible object or boss. One for 3/4 health, one for 1/2, one for 1/4, and one for defeat. Just make sure you have one more objective left after the defeat or your last wave will be ignored

You have to be magic to be a significant villain now.

Quote:Threads are easier to find than shards in my experience. Shards it's like "Whatever".Wait... wait...
Unless the Devs changed things (and I somehow missed the message) The only thing you can do with Shards is craft stuff to use for the Alpha slot (and only the alpha slot.) OR convert them into Threads to be actually... usefull. At a rate of 10 shards to 5 threads.
Why would we ever want to take a single shard as opposed to 2 threads?
Maybe have a random Rare Invention Salvage drop, instead? Best alternative I can think of at the moment.
That aside, this is a good idea, but it probably needs its own cool-down timer, to prevent abuse.
...at the same time, certain Giant Mosters (I'm looking at you, Lusca!) probably need an alternate table, simply based on how much more involved fighting them is.
But yeah, there's almost no need for shards. Good point. -
These are a bit excessive, but there's one I can agree one. Well, two. More custom powers and the in-mission conversation feature from I17.

I'm kind of a reddit person myself now.
Also the downs girl's mom is blaming Facebook for it -_-;. I can see being upset over it but it'd be best to dive into a little more research than striking the first site you see; especially when Facebook isn't responsible for that content.
That's like holding Paragon responsible if a kid turns off the chat filter himself and then sees someone spamming profanity in the chat.
Also yes I was always a fan of the Strong&Pretty meme. That's kind of different. It's not something that's literally everywhere.

Would love to see Trench coats + Wings, too. Or wings + Certain type of cape like a scarf.

Yeppers. Sally goes down in a single hit from anything I believe. It could be two depending on how heavy of an attack it is. I could see Sally being the one exclusion to this idea. *Sagenod*
-
Ah. Herp. That's cool.
Though...
400 points for costume pack = $5
1 month of game time = $15
That = $20
Architect Edition = $25 -
Don't need a team at all to actually beat Sally. Just would want to get one if you want to let more than just you or someone else get credit.
I've probably only seen one or two Jurassik teams ever in my entire CoH experience. -
Hehe, very nice indeed! What character were you on? I was Overlord Shadow.
-
Never said they stopped, just all ones that were run into the ground :P. But I'm an ex-channer and hate memebase and funnyjunk.
-
Yeah the Paladin spawning would definitely need to be fixed. You'd probably need a dedicated league to fight all 3 of them at once though.
-
Hello, everyone. I just thought I'd beat a dead horse.
The developers seem very keen to reviving/revamping old content lately. Giant Monsters aren't too popular anymore and I can see why: They're too much effort for too little of a reward. Giant Monsters give the standard of 2 reward merits if I'm correct.
Why not have a reward table for contributing to fight them? For example, it could be:
- 10 Reward Merits
- Non stacking +10% XP/Inf boost for the next 45 minutes
- A single Incarnate Shard(Level 50 VIP Incarnates only!)
- Two Incarnate Threads (Level 50 VIP Incarnates only!)
- A random super inspiration

Quote:[Insert Elder Scrolls V Joke]You know how we have topics that are all "Okay, the four-legged rig was cool at first, but can we move onto something else now?"
That's what they'd be saying about me after a few months, except instead of "four-legged rig", it'd be "dragons".
(Granted, my dragons would also use the four-legged rig, so it'd be the best of both complaints)
Dragons would be wicked cool though >_>;. Especially a dragon AV/Monster/Giant Monster for an arc end boss, TF end boss, or Trial. -
Quote:Sefu's a pretty cool bro.Agreed, except for Sefu. Sefu is alright and I could certainly picture my Villains grabbing some drinks with him in neutral areas.
Recent Longbow writing is either bad writing due to multiple people writing for them (same thing happened with Statesman) or it's poorly executed brilliance.
Longbow could very well represent young men back in the old days whom would be fired up to go to war, "fight the bad guys", and become a hero without knowing the cruel realty of actual war. They're so lost in the fantasy of living their dream as a hero they don't realize it isn't just women in skintight outfits, capes, masks, and beating up the baddies; it's responsbility and being able to make critical decisions.
Or it's just kind of mediocre writing. -
Longbow are stupid, arrogant, and stubborn children with guns. They're pretty reckless and will judge things right away.

I like how you can still buy the $25 AE access lmao.

Quote:Everything in here is brilliant.I'm just gonna re-post 3 things I've asked for in various other threads.
First: Would it be poosible to use Robotic Arms in conjunction with sleeveless jackets, robes, and trenchcoats? I've got a few characters who would love to be able to combine them together.
2nd: Freakshow costume parts or just robotic bits in the same jury-rigged style they use.
Examples with picture links:
This guys shoulder pad (and maybe his jacket too)
Arms and jaw plate (though the arms would probably need to be altered so an actual hand can go on it)
Meat Doctor backback for Crab Spiders
The shoulder/neck rig from the Stunners. If the arcing electricity could be done as well it would be fantastic
And this. All of it
Granted it probably isn't feasable to just port all of these over to players, so parts in the same style would be awesome too. And if new parts are developed the Freakshow could get a graphical update as well.
3rd: I have a character that's supposed to look like a Fake Nemesis. Unfortunately he doesn't. Some Fake Nemesis parts would be epic. -

Well there goes me looking a gift horse in the mouth. Thanks SolarSentai!
