Glad you had fun.
I didn't get Lappy straightened out until about 11pm last night and I ended up falling asleep at the table while waiting on the last scan. -

72+ hours. I was in the Army.
There's actually a point where you get "beyond" sleep and the body won't shut down, even if you want to.
[/ QUOTE ]
I trip that switch quite regularly. -
As I posted in the Manor, Lappy went to crap today. We're working on it right now and she's responding to treatment.
I normally game primarily from the desktop, but I need to be working on Lappy while my "tech crew" is here and available.
If we get done soon enough and get her back up and running, I'll be here. If not, smack a monster or 3 for me. -

BOB'S CHALLENGE!
Today's Challenge is VERY IMPORTANT.....Today you make the commitment to reduce or eliminate water bottles from here on out. Get a Brita system and a reusable water bottle...drinking at least 8 glasses of water helps with digestion, hydration, metabolism and good skin....xo And for those of you that already do this, your Challenge is to get a friend to start doing it TODAY...
[/ QUOTE ]
Sorry Bob. The others who live here with me have their water bottles glued to them like it was a vital organ.
On the other hand, I do use water filtration and bought a couple 1 gallon pitchers. I just need to add lemon twist to the water or I lose it. (Always had problems with plain water waking me sick to my stomach, especially this time of year when they heavily chlorinate and fouride the water systems.) -

Right now I finally got on a scedule...

There's the rub with me. My schedule occilates like kid's mind in a candy shop.
Technically, I should go to bed between 8-9am and get up around 5pm, 7 days a week. This schedule keeps me in range for the bulk of my shifts and I should handle the leeway on a stretched shift.
That schedule is completely unrealistic though. As hard as I try to stay on that schedule, I either end up not falling asleep till 5pm one day, or I wake up after an hour or two and can't ever get back to sleep. This doesn't even cover the times when I work 7pm-7am and then have class till the afternoon, then have to stay awake 3 days studying.
I'm really starting to consider the idea of blending some pharmacoligicals and a stiff bottle, but I know the reality of that route would not be what I need.
It's either too hot, too bright, to humid, or too Florida for me to stay asleep this time of year, so I'm resigned to being an irritable zombie.
Cheers!
(seriously though...imagine a 3 day, pharmacoligially induced, coma under doctor's supervision....Vacation!!) -
It says that Kefir is a fermented milk drink/heath food. How does it taste?
I've tried soy milk and threw up immediately (of course I'm also allergic to soy, but didn't know it till my Ex decided to turn me into a tofu guru).
Does Kefir taste like moldy jock straps, or is it tolerable? I tend to fear alot of the "Eastern Health Foods" because they end up tasting nasty. If Kefir is tolerable, I'd love to give it a shot. Reading on some of its benefits, I could use it.
(update here instead of Facebook: I haven't gone to a doctor. I don't have insurance and am having issues with the public health department's idea of a qualifying candidate. My blood glucose levels have been mid range. 95 when I woke up. 155 2 hours after a huge meal (Burger King Whopper, Med Onion Rings, and a Medium Dr. Pepper (not diet). That 155 is skewed though because I was drinking on that soda for 2 hours. Other tests are putting me around 120 after an hour and 45 minutes from the meal.
*yes I'm rationalizing and heavily in denial of specifics...*
I'm trying to find a way to afford to go get the tests. I just don't have insurance and a lot of doctors here won't take you without it.) -

How would running AE missions help you in getting purple drops?
Unless it is a dev choice you are not going to get any recipe drops.
[/ QUOTE ]
Exactly my point. I'm in Peregrine Island, going Old School. The purpose is Purple Recipes. I could care less about the MA right now.
[ QUOTE ]
I was purped out on all my 50 kins, and a dozen (overall)
alts. That was b4 MA.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm happy for you. I hope you enjoy your good fortune. In the mean time, I want my piece of the pie.
[ QUOTE ]
i dont see any ingame alternative to what i previously said.
besides 8 man farms.
look me up if you wanna play old style, i wouldnt mind a lil dual farmin' like in the ole days.
(look me up ingame, freedom, 3 dudes dressed in black, with 'Digitalwarz 2' over the head, goin by the name City (of).
[/ QUOTE ]
1- I am not on Freedom.
2- I'm all for 8-man teams in PI as soon as I get 6 fillers
[ QUOTE ]
heard of WW? some drop things, some buy 'em
[/ QUOTE ]
WW?...Oh You mean that place in the round building where those NPCs get clicked on. Yeah, after 10 minutes, my computer unfreezes and I see the stuff I bought cheap and sold higher has actually SOLD and I collect my earnings. That Place?
I don't want to buy, nor can I afford to buy them. I want to bust my [censored] grinding so I can get them as drops. I can use the ones I need and sell the ones I don't. Maybe after a few drops I can afford to buy one or two.
So, back to what I am asking.
I have one of my alts parked at 47 (Heroic-ish rep) and a 50 running on the alt account. Not being able to get fillers in PI anymore because they're in the MA/AE in AP, I basically run as a duo.
While running radios in PI, I noticed that Lvl 47 minions didn't drop anything to my 50, so...
Should I bump the alt up to 48 or would running on Invincible as a 47 be better?
(Ultimately, I'd like to paint a map with 6 fillers on the outside and run my 2 accounts inside, but that's a pipe dream right now)
Note: Again I state, I want nothing to do with the MA in this scenario. I merely want to know what I asked. Thanks you.
(I apologize if I come off as a complete D-bag full of snark. It's been a long 37 hours and it was a simple question met with erroneous responses. lolIntarnetz) -
Ok, so I don't know if anyone is taking over for Wulf this week, but Shadow will be there shortly just in case.

mind you they thought they could drink like me
[/ QUOTE ]
I can't remember the last time I drank like you claim to drink. -
I already did the MA thing. Posi got a shot in his trot and I'd rather not use his lil baby for awhile. Right now I'd rather stay away from that festering infection.
Besides, the point here for me is Purples, not merits, skiball tickets, lolTokens, or bollywop doll currencies that the Devs keep creating to skew the rewards. I figure that even with some of my MA->Market rolls, I still want to purple out 1 character, maybe 2 before I reach old age and die. I have pretty much everything else for one of my builds except the Purples. -
[ QUOTE ]
What you do if you want purple drops is to defeat lots and lots of level 47+ mobs.

My job has had some rough patches in the last decade.
About 7 years ago, I was in a position where my head was the one that rolled downhill the farthest. It was mu job to oversee all of the details during a major college rivalry weekend. I got up at 4:30pm on a thursday and headed into work. I didn't get home until monday around 8am. By this time my normal sleep problems kicked in and I was awake until wednesday. I crashed for 24 hours, just in time for my next shift.
While I've only had a handful of those long stretches, I do end up staying up for days on end. Right now, I'm really unpredictable because I'm in a crash season. No classes over the summer, so I'm trying to let myself crash out as often as I feel it.
Quitting smoking and severely cutting back/out coffee and soda has left my system in shock. Right now I feel exhausted after being up a few hours, but then stay up all weekend long for work.
Meh! If I could go without sleep, I'd opt for it. -

No, the coolest animation bug ever is finding out that walking in dwarf form on a Kheldian doesn't interrupt emotes.

I think I can top this. Before they fixed it, the squid form couldn't hold a shotgun in it's tenticles. So, the holy shotgun temp power (given in Striga arcs) was held in it's mouth. I thought, "Welll thanks for this weapon but, um, what do you want me to do with it? No hands people!!! no hands!"
The first time I saw it I was laughing so hard, well the debt was worth it.

Ok, I completely misread that. -
BBT has Kittehs!!
They are sooo cute, but I'd be careful about letting them climb on the electronics. You better start teaching them now... -
*runs in with garden hose*
Someone say they needed water on these flames?
Um..er...uh...Oh Yeah..
I pay by the year on several accounts. I see the logic that a lifetime sub at this point could spell doom. I see how monthly fees keep us in the voting majority and all, but if I had had a chance to Life It!, I would on all accounts.
The game itself can get boring and tedious, so just step back now and then. The community is an awesome lot, so even on a break it's nice to come hang out. -
Unfortunately I can't get rid of this headache. I'm gonna have to bow out tonight.

Godspeed Backhand!!
We'll see you when we see you. Thanks for all you're doing. -
I hope that the surgery is swift, accurate, and effective. Anna has proven to be quite the fighter, so I have no doubts that she will come out of this on top.
Ya'll remain in my thoughts.
