I just recently got back into playing after being gone awhile.
some PvP might be fun -
I teamed with a fire/dark with my ice/dark last night. Double tar patch-rain of fire AND ice storm going all at once was just spiffy.

Thanks for the excellent guide from a newbie tank. Five stars!
Question: Should a /fire tanker get an attack with status effect? I'm thinking of Air Superiority. I have AS now but am thinking of dropping it as I'm going the Boxing/Tough route. AS works well with my other attacks that do only DoT. With lowered defenses, I've found AS helping in keeping at least one mob on the floor.

AS comes in very handy, i took it at lvl 6 to put in an attack chain of scorch-FS-AS
AS is great for taking on LT's/bosses with toggles because it knocks them off, this is very handy in dealing with outcasts and trolls which have toggle heavy lt's and bosses plus at ow levels the damage is reletively decent...much better than brawl and recharges almost as fast. -
so what time does this lil shindig begin?

wha-?! the blood widow helmet is female only? that's not so cool. i don't have an aversion to making a female character ( i actually prefer to do so) but that nixes what i had in mind.

what did you have in mind? making a male "widow"? -

Yeah, I'd be very disappointed if Recluse turned out to be the incarnate of Hades. Hades, aside from abducting Persephone, was not evil. It'd be mistakenly cliche for them to make Recluse be Hades, and judging by Jack's knowledge of the classics, that's likely not the case. Us classics folks get annoyed when people assume Hades/Pluto was evil just because the Christian Satan is.
[/ QUOTE ]
actually most christian folks believe that satan does not "rule" hell, that idea comes form a guy named dante. satan actually "rules" earth until Yeshua comes back, the judeo-christian equivelent of hades would be sheol, not "hell" -

I have to say I prefer your undeited comments over any edited ones. Of course, when I see something that's seems sarcastic from you, I usually agree- and am amazed at your restraint.
As for your brother going to Iraq... I recall he was recently in Korea before. Seems he's chewing the same dirt as this former combat engineer (korea 93-94, Iraq 90-91).
Some words of advice:
Aviod at all costs:
Saudi Scorpions
Kuwaiti Fleas
Iraqi Spiders
and MRE's.

My first Warshade I deleted at lvl 24 becuase I had tried to go a mix Nova, human, dwarf form. It didn't work.
If your trying to go the jack of all trades master of none your not going to be good at anything and I think that sucks worse than being really good at one thing and not so good at the others.
I'm a high damage Warshade. Not many compete against him. For sheer unadultrated damage he is second to none. When I ask to get on a team it's what I state" "I'm a high damge Warshade." Over a period of time a few Tanks have gotten to know me and when I get on now I get the request. Missions fly by and are quicker with me then without. Find a role and stick with it. You'll be much happier with your Warshade if you do.

ROFL! i use triform, i can still hit the damage cap in nova, plus if i draw unwanted aggro i can swap to dwarf and live.
soloing the tri form is king, i can AoE in nova, swap to dwarf and garther them back up dwarfstep away change back to nova and finish them off. to say tri form is a jack of all trades and a master of none is an utter fallacy. in nova i can do all the damage anyone else can do in nova...in dwarf i have max resist simply with 4 slots(3 +3 SO's will max, but i do not always have +3's) plus with dwarf i can double mire and hit the damage cap with fewer enemies, so in many cases because i have an additional mire, i can outdamage a no form or nova-human dual form, and have better survivability. just a little addition...with dwarf simply close to melee with a Q and pound him to death..yes it is that simple. V's can still hurt you, but you can still take them out. and for the record i have been taking q's out from day one with my shade.
after looking over the OP again i can only say the author seems to think since he cannot play tri form no one can, and is seriously incorrect.

..but not judge us is very attractive, especially since people in general tend to be very judgmental... We also have the Western mentality molded by the Christian idea of one [censored]-up and it's straight to Hell unless you prostrate yourself before God and beg for forgiveness... wait, forgot about Original Sin, there is no one [censored]-up rule... it's straight from birth to Hell unless you beg and swear eternal servitude and every [censored]-up henceforth requires more begging, pleading and swearing
Kind, non-judgmental psychopomps rule!
[/ QUOTE ]
thanks for pointing out how judgemental people are ANd providing an example"tolerant" people are often the most intolerant in practice when it comes right down to it.
