Simple fact of the matter is if you enter a pvp zone, like the contacts will tell you, prepare to be attacked. It is completely irrelevant whether or not you are there for farming, badge hunting etc. How or why other players decide to attack you is also irrelevant, it is their perogative.

You may not agree with it, it may seem 'dishonourable' (lmao@honour - especially with the hero/villain ethos), but that is YOUR issue, not that of the person/people attacking you.

And let me set something straight, I don't think I know any pvpers who give two hoots about reputation. I only go into pvp zones to kill as much of the enemy as possible, as many times as i can. And if someone is daft enough to whinge about it on open broadcast, they may as well paint a big red target above their head.

As for the whole 'science' argument, as a practising science teacher, i find the whole matter quite interesting. I believe to a greater extent, Chilli is mostly correct.

Even if you find it very difficult to currently link a topic to science, this does not mean that it can not be so in the future. From a theoretical perspective, everything we know now came about as a direct result of the 'big bang', so thought, time, religion, animal, vegtable and mineral are all inextricably linked at some juncture.

I would agree with everything Filth just said except that Energy Melee is always a good choice (for the stuns), and Super Strenth is another good choice as you get the best build up of all, and a ranged -fly.

As filth said, do NOT take a stone tank.

Yes tankers are certainly viable in pvp, especially in teams, where your job is to taunt as many of the opposition as possible and sit back and take whatever is thrown your way. As a consequence, you dont get attacked much

Also, CoX is an exceptional game for hardcore pvp fans, with more variety and combinations than pretty much any game out there.

I like to think its the thinking mans pvp, as it gives us old gits a chance against the young whippersnappers.

Scrappers give a high damage output consistently, for the most part they are self reliant, and they are FAR more effective in teams than stalkers.

I shall shortly be returning to work (teaching) and have henceforth cancelled my account as of the 28th of this month

I shall leave final tourney details with Chez, who shall have the final word for any future queries.

I have enjoyed this tourney very much, and I truly believe we are seeing the proverbial 'best of the best'. Some players who had not entered will claim their superiority ( ) however having the guts to enter a tourney such as this imo is the most important quality of them all.

This means Neo goes through Autmatically, with Empath as 1st reserve.

KS wants to start a new comp soon, so Im aiming to get this finished asap.

As Spag will be back on the 11th, can we try and have the other two matches completed by midnight on monday 13th August
