I think that Spade has whooped some villanous dude (plus spider bot in the back) but ghost widow has shown up. It's a tough angle for Ghost Widow, because while I, the viewer, want to see her face, I also kinda feel she should be lookin' at spade if she is challengin' him.

I really like the concept, though, it's like a panel straight outta a comic boook.

I really like the yin yang look that logo has to it. I think It should be simplified to pure balck, pure white, with an eye in the crow's head. Really good, though.

First of all, I'm flattered to have been chosen, even for sketching purposes. I think his expression is perfect, I always imagined him as lowbrowed, strong chinned, and a little dour.

My one request would be that his nose be more feline. Other than that, I really, really like it.

(That was me being not over-the-top excited. But just for the record I kinda bounced up and down in my rolly chair, which led to a bit of... um... falling over in my rolly chair.)

Thanks for all the comments and compliments. Here's an update. I tried something different with the tail... Same angle, because before what I was trying to portray was an active, swishing tail. He may be stretching, but he won't miss his opportunity. Oh, and inks. :P

I am unbelievably pleased that you like it. It's always a good feeling when someone appreciates a gift, and though if you wanted to draw SL in any regard, I would be thrilled and flattered, please, don't feel obligated. Gifts are a pleasure to give.

EDIT: I wrote "Your works is great." While this quaintly reminds me of "All your base are belong to us," I also like to use proper grammar whenever possible.

Norse mythology kinda reads like an ancient comic book, though. I mean, apart from a couple stories... (Gold of the Rhine, I'm thinkin') Humans never do much of anything. It's all the gods, who don't die of age or disease, but certainly aren't immortal, who have big battles with giants and serpents and death up and down the world tree. I mean, if there's a mythos that I approve of being used to fuel a comic book character, then, thematically, Norse is it. I would like to see more people knock of Egyptian and Native American mythologies, though. I feel these are under-abused.

Yeah, the tail kinda looks like the afterthought it was, doesn't it. Ah well, I'm a fix that up cuz it's botherin' me now. I might even ink it. Crazy.

I really like the character design. I am also very sad that you don't post more often. Whatever you like to draw at any time. Don't take requests if you dont' wanna, just do some more stuff, because that, small corrections aside, is a fine piece.

I just assumed he was attacked by killer tomatoes. There's really not too many other logical deductions.

I was pretty inspired by Plasma's story about Cyberlynx, and I just kinda wanted to sketch him. This is my favorite of a couple sketches I did. It's not really a finished product, just a rough thing. But then I thought I'd kinda like to share that the character and story inspired me, so I posted it up here.

Um, Bose, I'm pretty sure I'm not presuming here when I say I speak for the community. Critiques are welcome. Outright insults are inflamitory and completely unproductive. If you are seeking to start an argument, you have begun in the right fashion. Frankly, though, that's not what these forums are about.

This is a place of artists of all ability levels to share and encourage each other, and honestly, while classes certainly are a boon to any artist, I think Toxa has some great and creative artwork here. Comic book artwork, if you look at it, is not necessarily about what the human body CAN do, but you what you can imagine it doing.

So, basically, I'm askin' you, politely as I can, to be more tactful.
