Frankly, I'm glad it's been barely snowing here in Tacoma this year. Last year we had enough snow for three years. It was the friggin' Snowpocalypse.

I was just about to idle and eat dinner when it did it. Go fig. What odd luck.

It's just something that rulers of socialist or imperialist nations do.

Wait, wait... what lag?
Oh, right... my machine is rather... um... new, so I wouldn't notice stuff like that. Nevermind. Carry on. -
Ghost Widow. I've had a thing for her for a long time now.

Quote:Dr. Aeon's speechwriter.
I've thought about it a lot, and I've come to realize that all of my criminal tendencies and flamboyant fashion choices came from two sources: books and other reading material, and more importantly, video games. Video games and books. You can't forget the negative impact of the books too. If those books hadn't expanded my horizons, I would have just been a violent social misfit because of video games. One alone can do irreparable damage, but both together, well, you can see the results.
If you don't want your children to become violent criminals bent on world conquest, then you need to act immediately. Don't let them play video games. Keep them away from books. And you'd probably better keep them inside, too. I'd suggest that you replace those other activities with something better. Something that can heal them. I'd suggest Television. I often wish I'd watched more TV as a youth. Who knows what I could have been? -
Quote:RAAADIIIOOO! RAAAAADIIIIIOOOOO! Free Opportunity!Well, we do drop off plague in a city. Presumably that has some non-benign consequences.
That said, unlike some people here, I truly revel in the really evil parts of CoV. I cackled, for example, all through that one mission where I'm suppose to take innocent civilians to the Vahzilok. Plus, I remember giggling with glee after blasting that Warshade Romulus apart with the Void Hunter rifle.
Ahh... I revel in evil. It feels so therapeutic. -

Sounds like Virtue has a problem. Of the two servers I'm on, I've rarely seen this event crop up again.
Maybe it keeps coming back because no one's fighting it? Heh. -
Quote:Psst. Look at the topic title. This whole thread is about red makeup wearing Kheldians.I was poking fun at the person I was responding to by noting the fact that they said 'go rouge' instead of 'go rogue'. Since 'rouge' is a reddish makeup, I made a power customization crack.
Normally I don't really care, but I was looking for something to whack him about anyway. -
/Pain's good. The heals help keep your pets alive longer and the buffs and debuffs are excellent.

It's okay when it's active (and decent when slotted), but it doesn't last long enough for the huge recharge. The duration, I think, really needs to be increased.

All of my characters have bios, and all were given those bios at creation. I don't create a character because of build, I create a character because I already have them in mind and the build only fits their concept. As such, I have reused a few powersets as consequence.
-
As of now, I have two characters who are very much likely to skirt the gray areas of morality. One is a character that I've already described in his bio as a vigilante, so vigilante he will become. The other is a villain who believes that he is heroic in his actions despite many of the appalling things he's done, thus to help rationalize himself he'll be becoming a rogue.
Otherwise, I have no characters I expect to make a complete switch with. Yet.... -

Quote:I never said I disliked it. I did; however, say that I think they're running out of ideas for rewards. After all the previous rewards in the vet system, where do they go from now? What more could they give the playerbase?I'm actually suprised at how much I wholeheartedly disagree with you guys.
I absolutely love the vet reward system, and it gives me something to look forward to every 3 months. Every single vet reward has had something I thought was neat and could use at least once. Every. Single. One. -
They're probably running out of ideas for Vet rewards. I mean, when you're giving one out every three months, it's easy to exhaust the mind.
